Ever looked around in utter confusion and then looked at Ares as if he had truly, finally lost his mind. There were only a couple windows in the room. They let in great light, but a person couldn't really see much from them while sitting down.
"... What view?!"

He whistled for a moment, a low chuckle breaking it. "Oh, forget it. You don't seem to understand--not that I should have expected you to. Anyway..." He turned rather serious for a moment. "Be careful what you tell your little friend."

{{Best short post I've seen in awhile!!!}}
For the first time in her life, Ever's eyes flashed a deep, deep red. She almost looked evil now with red hair and red eyes. Her pupils were very large and completely black, of course. She didn't realize any of this, though.
She stood up quickly from the desk, slammed her hands on the top of the desk, and leaned over to glare at Ares.
"You.... shithead. You LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE! Don't you DARE even act like you are threatening her! Don't even hint at it!"

Akira had agreed to Evermore's plan, had said good bye, and had quickly made her way over to the teacher, her companion still sleeping soundly in her arms. She waited for Professor Markum to be finished discussing with the other Bai Ching students and then gently tapped the teacher on the shoulders, smiling proudly.
"Umm, this Two Tailed Cat Demon here decided to be my familiar and i've definitely accepted her, so...Do i need to sign something or do something to make it official?" she asked, a little bit shy. She never really had a pet before and felt like the feline in her hands would be taken away from her at any moment if the Professor didn't like Demons...
Then she looked sideways, and sneezed softly.
Well that was odd...
She wasn't one to be paranoid, but this Dog Hanyou did believe in the saying "if you sneeze randomly, somebody's talking about you behind your back in a bad way" She glanced towards the Headmistress's office, wondering if Evemore was alright...

Professor Markums turned around when she was addressed and smiled and the young girl and two-tailed cat in her arms. She laughed softly, good-naturedly, at the girl's question.
"Hello, young lady. No, you do not have to sign anything, but I would like to put your name down on the sign in sheet and have you tell me your familiar's name so that I can write it in next to yours, please. Please follow me over here."
Professor Markums put down the bale of hay she had been carrying and led Akira out of the fenced in area and over to her one of the Automatons that was a mouse. Its fur was sleek and shiny. It hadn't been in the pen with the other familiars. In fact, it was Markums' own familiar.
The mouse jumped up onto a rock and then quickly transformed into a silver podium for her master. Markums smiled at it, thanked it softy, and put some papers on top of the podium that she had sitting next to the rock. She pulled a pen out of her hair and held it over the top page.
"What is your name, sweetie?"

Akira signed in relief and gladly followed the teacher out of the fenced in area. She watched in silent awe as the beautiful mouse, probably Professor Markums' familiar, transformed, before her eyes, into a shinny podium in record time.
"Wow..." the girl quickly snapped out of it with a shake of her head when she heard the teacher speak.
"Huh? Oh right, I'm Akira Riiva and this awesome kitty's name is..." she paused and looked at her new found friend's sleeping form, trying to think up a name.
Finally, it clicked.
She glanced back up at Professor Markums with a big grin on her face.
"My familiar's name is Kilala!"
As if on cue, the feline opened her eyes looked at Akira for a moment, then meowed happily, loving the name.

Professor Markums wrote down the names on her list with a smile on her face and then turned back to Akira. She took the papers off of the podium and her familiar transformed back into a mouse. It sat happily and contentedly on the boulder. It's little paw reached up and scratched behind one of its large ears.
Markums reached forward and petted Kilala. "Well, it is nice to meet both of you. Kilala will stay in your room with you, Akira. You won't need to feed her until you come to class tomorrow. I already fed her today and these two-tail cat demons don't eat much."
Markums pulled her hand back and smiled at Akira. "Miss Akira, do you have any questions for me?"

I don't think it would be too much fun, either," he said, sighing.

Her hair was still red, but Ever's eyes went back to normal. She rolled her eyes and sat back down in her headmistress's chair. She was still glaring fiercely at Ares, though.
"Ares, what in the name of all that is holy, do you want here?! I am completely at a loss and I hate playing your games."

Ares shrugged. "Well, sucks to be you, because you're quite fun to play with." A smirk formed, and he continued on. "I already told you what I want, though. Just..." he eyed her for a brief moment "...not all of it."

Akira's eyes lit up like a christmas tree and her tail started wagging a lot.
"Really? I can keep her in my room? Seriously?? That's so cool!!" she replied excitedly, thinking of the future fun the two of them would have.
The Dog Hanyou nodded, stroking her familiar's fur softly.
"Alright, don't have to feed her today, got it!" She pondered for a moment, trying to figure out if she did have any questions, but nothing came to mind.
Kilala purred deeply and rubbed her face against the teacher's tanned and smooth skin happily, her twin tails swaying softly.
"Nope, none that i can think of right now, but as soon as i do, i'll let you know! See ya, Professor Markums!!!" the girl waved and ran off with a smile, her Two Tailed Cat Demon running along side her as they made their way back into the school.

Secret Kirari Ares shrugged. "Well, sucks to be you, because you're quite fun to play with." A smirk formed, and he continued on. "I already told you what I want, though. Just..." he eyed her for a brief moment "...not all of it." Ever scoffed and shook her head. "Ares, you must be forgetting things easily in your very-old age. You have not told me what you want." She smirked at Ares, quite proud of herself.

Professor Markums smiled as she watched the student and her new familiar run happily towards the school. She always felt so good to help students find their familiar, their life-long companion. It was truly magical and life changing. She had helped 10 students that day and hoped she could help many more in the weeks to come.
She turned back to the pen and started gathering more hay for the animals. That was also one of the first times she had seen a student running TOWARD their school. Most of the students had run back to the school after the class was over, even if they didn't have a familiar yet. That spoke volumes to Markums. It must truly be a wonderful school for the students to be so excited about it. That was rare to find. Markums felt she'd be very happy here.

I'll repeat myself only once: Bai Ching is going to become very interesting soon, and that lake is particularly interesting. Surely you must understand now?"

Alright. This wasn't working. She should have known that she couldn't talk normally, rationally with a God. There was only one she knew of that she could do that with, and she wasn't here.
Ever stood up from the chair, slowly walked around the desk and to the back of Ares chair, and leaned over his shoulder so that she could whisper in his ear.
"Ares, I don't do riddles. When I ask someone what they want, I would appreciate a clear answer, not some God runaround. We both know that you wouldn't be here, around mortals, if you just found the lake interesting. Mt. Olympus is more interesting than a simple magical lake. What is in this for you, Ares?"
