"Well, the last guy told me he'd do anything, so I had him rebuild that school over there," Umi replied, pointing over to a small rundown nursery and the end of the block, "then again, he asked me to blow up a helicoptor for him. So I would expect something of equal value of what you're asking." Umi stopped in front of a tall building, that looked newer than any other building in the area. "So, this is my apartment, pay attention to the fire escapes, I'm not going to pry into your business but if the CPF are after you, you should at least know that." He pushed open the glass door, revealing the large main lobby. It was designed in a way that seemed like there were many ways out of the building. Pressing the elevator call button, he turned towards her, "don't stress over the payment, its not like I expect it right away."

‘Blow up a helicopter?’ Blakely thought. Okay, this guy was most definably a shocker. Being next to him in a nice apartment made her realize exactly how dirty she was. She didn’t smell bad or anything, but her skin was dirty and her hair was greasy. When they got to his apartment, she looked around taking the scenery in. Mainly, she was looking for the bathroom or laundry room. Then she’d look around for the fire escapes. The CPF weren’t really after her in this city, yet. But you never knew when her dad would get a hold of them. “You wouldn’t mind if I used your shower or did my laundry and stuff?” Blakely asked. She needed to get clean. She was far too hygienic to be living like this. ‘Only if….’ She thought, cutting her mind off of him before she got herself to upset. She was already getting there.

Umi opened up his apartment door, pushing it inwards, "go right ahead, my home is your home," Umi replied, smiling as he entered, "don't mind the old guy." Vulcan was in the middle of the living room, writing what seemed to be letters. "Back so soon?" Vulcan asked. "This lovely lady needed a place to stay," Umi gestured behind him, "I don't believe I got her name. She's a traceur." "Bringing in strangers? For some reason, that doesn't seem strange to me." "By the way, this is Vulcan, my former master."
Umi walked into the living room, hanging his jacket on the nearby coathanger. "If you need to sleep, you can use my room it's the last door in the hall, the guest room is being used by this lecherous old man and frankly, I don't trust him being out here with you, he might try something." "I will not!" Vulcan argued, "I'm not a lecher!" "That's what they all say... In court," Umi joked, "anyway, make yourself comfortable."

Blakely smiled at the old guy. “He kind of reminds me of my gramps.” Blakely teased. “And, I’m a light sleeper, so he wouldn’t get away with anything. Now would you?” Blakely said and winked at the old dude. He seemed like he wasn’t very active, or couldn’t be. Then again, he probably was pretty radd, back in his prime. Blakely walked around the apartment until she found the bathroom. “I’m Blakely, by the way.” She called out as she walked in, shutting the door behind her. She put her bag down and searched through it for her cleaning stuff. She grabbed her shampoo and conditioner. She also grabbed her body wash, it smelled like hot coco. She also grabbed her brush and her scissors, why not trim her hair. It’d been about a month since she had time to do that.
Blakely begun to undress and hopped in the shower. She made sure she cleaned herself well and hoped out. She quickly dried off and then slipped into her only pair of cleanish clothing left, her pink pajama shorts. They were extremely cute and extremely short. ‘Not to self, buy long pajama pants and trash these.’ She thought while she threw on a white v-neck. ‘And maybe some other designed shirts.’ She then brushed her hair and trimmed a few inches off, making sure the hair she cut off feel in the sink. She also trimmed her bangs. Finally she ran her fingers through her hair and rinsed the sink. When her hair was fully dry she put her stuff back in her bag and walked out, straight towards his bedroom.
She laid her bag on his bed and begun sorting her laundry. She then put one pile in a hamper and walked to his washer and threw them in. When she was done she walked into the living room and sat on the couch, right next to Vulcan. “Hey.” She said and leaned back on the couch. It felt like she hadn’t relaxed in days.

Vulcan was slightly startled when Blakely sat next to him, he was focused on finishing his work. Umi had fallen asleep in a chair on the opposite side of the room, he was exhausted from the night before and his weariness finally kicked in. "Feeling refreshed?" Vulcan asked, turning back to his work, "pardon the host, but he finally keeled over, I was waiting for it to happen. It's quite funny though, he was all set to head out again too! I should lecture him about working too much later." Vulcan sealed up the letters he was writing in envelopes, tucking them away for later. "So I hear you're a traceur, how's that coming along? Getting trained well?"

Blakely looked over at Umi, it was kind of funny when he was asleep. “ Yea, I know how he feels; I’m almost ready to crash myself.” She said and smiled at Vulcan. Blakely thought over her basically non existent training. “Not very well, as you can obviously tell.” Blakely kind of blushed at that. “I was being trained for a solid four months before I set off. But obviously my trainer left me out of the loop on a lot of things. We were supposed to move together and work on jobs together and he would show me all that stuff while we were going. But, something happened the night before I set off, and well, he doesn’t exist anymore.” Blakely paused and focused on finishing up. “A few people I’ve ran into have showed me some stuff and I’ve been learning on the way. But so far, it’s all really confusing. I’ve only been running for about 3 months.” Blakely looked around the apartment and looked back over at the sleeping host. “What was he doing that wore him out so much?” The guy was definably intimidating. She didn’t want to question him because of it.

"If I were to take a guess," Vulcan pressed his finger on his forehead, "he was probably helping the injured in the riot last night." Vulcan didn't really know, his intuition told him that much, but it's only been a few hours since he was released from his induced coma. "He did the same thing during the first riot many years ago, I guess it's his character. Both of my diciples have that characteristic, they feel they need to help, regardless of cirmcumstance." Vulcan chuckled a bit, remembering back to when he began training Umi and his rival, Ray. "Why don't you get Umi to train you?" Vulcan asked, "it seems he has kept up with his training all these years, even if he says he quit. You should see some of the escape routes on this building, there are some jumps even I wouldn't think of doing, perhaps Umi would be the only one in the world who would think they were practical."

Blakely was shocked by Umi being all helpful. He seemed to... materialist. “That’s good that he helps them. This town is going to overthrow the government sooner or later. A lot of the cities will. I honestly can’t wait. The government thinks they’re all great. They’re not.” Blakely rolled her eyes. She knew a lot of the dirt dealing with politicians and cops, being raised in her family. “Train me? I don’t think he’d do that. I’m still worried of what he’s going to suggest for me to pay him back for staying the night here. Considering the fact I have practically nothing.” Blakely laughed softly. She didn’t want to owe Umi any more than she would after tonight. He was just so intimidating. She was talking a little too much to the old dude. Probably because he was an old dude. That and she had a shoot of vodka earlier. Yea, she was an idiot. Blakely heard the washer cut off, that was fast. “Be right back.” She said and walked to the bedroom, grabbing her darks. She then put one load in the dryer and started the other in the washer. It was a good thing she’d have clean clothes. She then sat back down in her old spot.

"Pay him back?" Vulcan chuckled, "he's probably going to ask you to get a cat out of a tree or something." Vulcan had been investigating Umi's apartment since he left, he had just suddenly realized what this place was. "You don't know what Umi does, do you?" Vulcan rhetorically asked, "this place is a safehouse, it's designed in a way that runners could hide here for shelter and escape if needed. This entire apartment building is vacant, and there are hidden pathways in every room." Vulcan pointed over to the far corner of the living room, near invisible creases lined the wall as if it could move.
Vulcan thought for a moment, thinking about Umi's character, "he probably aides other traceurs in the city, the comm station over by the wall still functions properly, and he has contact frequencies for many other traceurs. I actually just figured it out just now, this is definitely a safehouse." Vulcan scanned the room for any other oddities, "I bet if you asked him to train you, he would, cause the thought of you running out there alone, untrained, would guilt him to the point he would reluctantly do it. He just that kind of guy, as much as he tries to hide the fact that he cares, deep down his subconscious tells him otherwise. I bet he felt really guilty when he asked you for payment, he didn't ask for it right away did he?"

((gah, I’m freezing and shivering so I’m having a hard time typing :/ ))
Blakely looked around the room. That would make sense to this being a safe house. That would also sort of make sense to why he thought she was a client. “A cat out of a tree sounds like a perfect job to me.” Blakely giggled softly and looked over at the sleeping fella. “He’s definably intimidating. But a lot of people I run into are intimidating.” Blakely said and felt incredibly sleepy. “It’s reliving to know he’s a nice guy, because he doesn’t look like it.” She said and got up. “I’m going to switch my laundry and settle down for bed, I’m getting sleepy. Bye Vulcan.” Blakely said and got up walking to the washer and dryer.
It was still going so she sat down on the dryer, giggling at the moment. But in a few minutes it was done so she switched the loads. “This is probably the fasted washer machine I’ve seen in my life.” She noted and grabbed her whites, while throwing her darks in the dryer. She then grabbed the whites and walked to her bed and laid them out, starting to fold everything. When she was done folding the whites she checked on the darks and sat on the dryer as they finished. Once they were done she took them to the bedroom and laid them out and folded everything.
She then repacked her stuff. She had a white pair of jeans and some blue jeans. She also had some black tights. She had her boots, which were on the floor by the bed. She also had a pair of beach sandals that she keeps in her bag. She had some socks and the regular under clothes. She had four v-necks. Red, teal, black, and grey. She also had the clothes she was wearing. But that was basically it. Her regular items included, body spray, deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, her radio thingy for jobs, some cash, her knives, and a pair of scissors. But that was everything. She placed everything in her bag, placing it tightly and compact. She then zipped up her book bag and laid it on the ground next to her boots. She climbed into her bed and fell asleep in a few minutes.
((wanna go ahead and time skip?))
