Oh my goodness, woman, you turn everything into a competition. Ugh, I want a cigarette, let's get out of here, Daigoro said before dropping what would most definitely cover the meal and then some onto the table. He grabbed her hand none too gently and pulled her out of the restaurant.

*Viktor grinned, now why was it that she kept feeling compelled to tell him what interested her. He winked at Amara and went to help another customer. he did not want to be caught laughing in front of her. He saw Piper storm in, coat half already off and on her way up to her third floor rooms. He went to say something to her but she shushed him with her hand and swept past.* KER-ist! what was that all about? *more to himself than anyone. He had not seen Piper in that bad of a Mood in a while*

Following Piper back to the bar, Jameson parked his car and just sat there for a moment. She was a tough one and his 'charms' didn't seem to be working too well, especially since she kept running off. If he continued, he'd only make a pest of himself. But he needed to now here and now about what she was up to. Trusting her word about Marie was iffy.
Jameson got out of his car and walked back inside the bar. When not seeing Piper, he figured she had fled upstairs or something. "Damnit..." He then walked up to the bar to ask the blonde guy behind the counter about her. "The teal-haired woman that works here, do you happen to know where she went?"

Amara near unconsciously downed her drink, and frowned when she realized that she'd not only polished off what was in her glass, but what was left in the shaker as well. She pouted some as she peered between them a moment, and glanced around for the girl. When she didn't find her, she frowned, and called for Viktor. Hey, um...Not-the-bartender boy?

*Viktor Nodded* The Boss went upstairs. The third floor is her house, she-uh doesnt really like to be disturbed. . . sharp pointy things. *he hoped his suggestion didn't fall on deaf ears. It would be a shame if the guy lost an ear. He looks quite rich. Not like the usual sort that came in here. He did'nt have time to think on it though. Amara was beckoning to him and she looked a bit demanding. He went over to take care of her as Piper was really pissed off about something.*

Pushing her glas and the empty shaker away from herself, she eyed the selection and shrugged some. So do you have any specialty house drinks that're exciting? She wanted to add something snarky, like 'Or are you not creative enough for that?', but she really didn't want some asshat to spit in her drink.

Jameson grinned once more. "Sharp and pointy isn't too scary...and I don't think I disturb her too much." He slipped from the bar and moved to the stairs to find Piper. He only hoped the blonde didn't mind him going upstairs. Jameson moved up to the third floor quietly, not wanting to be seen or heard just in case she held her ax nearby. It might also give him a chase to see what she could be up to if she didn't know he was there.

*Viktor figured if he kept feeding her alchohol she could have a bit of personality after all underneat all that vinegar.* Im pretty good at Mohito's and jagermeisters.
*Piper threw her coat at the coatrack and went to the kitchen. She fetched a pot and placed the flowers inside. She added a cup of water and started to boil it. Going back to the book she re-read the recipe and flicked on some soft gypsy violin on her portable CD player. She hummed a tune under her breath as singing helped her calm down along with cooking. She started measuring the ingrediants and made a cheeky face at Jack's disembodied head glaring murderously at her.*

Amara looked at the boy a moment, hoping he was joking. When he didn't offer any more drinks, she laughed out. Mohito? Thaaaat's impressive. She shook her head before shrugging, and turned her emerald eyes on the boy, almost a sort of seductive glitter about them. Sure, let's try a mohito.

A closed door met Jameson when he reached the third floor but he could hear music coming from inside and Piper's humming. She sounded distracted so Jameson tested the door, very gently gripping the handle to see if it would open. When it gave way, he pushed it open carefully, just enough for him to peek inside and hope that she wouldn't notice the cracked door if turned his way. He didn't really like spying on people but if it got him what he looked for then he'd spy all day long.

(Nuuu Jameson, nuuu eating the love potion! *teases*)
*Viktor crushed some fresh mint to coat the outside of the glass. He added the sugar and lime juice making sure to stir it thoroughly. He added ice the white rum and the mix topping it off with a chilled imported club. Finally he added a mint spring to the top and served it to her on a fresh napkin.*
*Piper crossed to a big center table and started chopping up what looked like a large white root. Every so often she would add a pinch of it to the pot and stirred. Her hair had been put up in a bun and she double checked everything from the big book aside her. It was almost adorably domestic of her to be going back and forth like she was but it wasnt exactly food she was cooking. Despite the fact that it was not normal food it held an alluring scent, enough to sharpen anyones appetite.*

Amara watched Viktor mix the drink, and nodded a silent little thank you as she pulled the glass closer and lifted it to her lips to taste it. She set the glass back down and thought on it a moment before her lips curved into a smirk, and she shrugged a shoulder as she shifted on the barstool to sling one leg over the other. I've definitely had better, but this isn't that bad.

Jameson tried to watch her as closely as he could without pushing open the door too much. From what he could see, she looked to be making something. Food? But it looked like she was making a potion, or so his mind pictured. It was hard to really tell from this distance. Whatever she was doing, though, smelled awfully good. His mouth watered in response.
