Azaela groaned-she didn't feel like dealing with this right now. She was still bleeding for Pete's Sake. "Imma kill you later for freaking her out Seth. Amber, I'm an Alpha-I'll be fine." She sighed and laid back on the cot.

Azaela laughed which turned into a cough. "F-Fine. Seth, get the Pack ready for war for me." She was then carried into Nina's tent where she was to be treated. Seth stared after her with a grin-the first in a while.
"Huh. She actually spoke. You must be pretty special Amber."

Amber looked up, "I don't get it, why does that make me special?" she was confused but followed Azaela to Nina's tent.

Seth looked down at her solemnly. "You didn't see her throat did you? Her voice box was almost ripped out. I can only imagine the pain she went through to reassure you. She hadn't spoken until now."

Seth glared at Amber. "You're her mate-hell, she worships the ground you walk on and you ask 'why'? Psh get real girl, the Alpha would go to any lengths to appease you. I will train you once I get rest. Right now you need to be with Azaela."

Azaela smirked. Honestly, what had Amber expected? Her to act all frail? As if. Azaela was a fighter and she didn't let something as dumb as pain get to her.

Azaela's smirk faded so quick-she tried to sit up on the cot but fell back when it hurt. She glared at Amber.
