((I’m so so so sorry. ))MitsukaiMitsukai noticed the kid next to her had said something. She listened to what he said and blushed. “He’s not a jerk, it’s complicated. But thank you.” Mitsukai said and smiled at the new kid. “I’m Mitsukai.” She said and noticed Adam asked her classes.
Mitsukai thought over her classes again, trying to remember. “English four, Advanced power control, World Geography, and Art. Then Algebra two, Biology, Physical Education, and Advanced Computer Education.” Mitsukai announced her schedule, very pleased to have art with Adam. Class was getting to a close and Mitsukai was relived.
Pretty soon the bell rung and Mitsukai smiled. “Well, see y’all at lunch.” Mitsukai said and headed to the lunch room. When she got there she scanned the cafeteria for Lorrie or Thorne, neither had appeared to arrive yet. Mitsukai got in line and grabbed her tofu burger and smart water. She sat down and closed her eyes, thinking over the day.CoryCory was glad his class was over and headed to lunch. He needed to see if Mitsukai was okay. When he got in there he grabbed a pizza and water, then sat next to Mitsukai. “Is she dead yet?” Cory asked. “No.” Cory sighed in relief. “What happened?” Cory asked, he was surprised when Mitsukai took off her glove and showed him everything. He could feel the hurt in her thoughts. “Can I hurt Thorne?” Cory asked when she pulled her arm away. “NO!” Mitsukai said rudely.
Cory sighed knowing why Mitsukai didn’t want Thorne hurt and honestly he was a little bit jealous. But he ignored that thought and took a bite of his food. JosephJoseph entered the lunch room and saw Cory sitting next to Mitsukai, ew. Joseph went in line and grabbed himself a burger and sat across from Mitsukai. “You okay? The schools in tact, that’s a good thing.” Joseph complimented. “The girls in tact too, that’s even better” Cory stated. Mitsukai gave them both a weak smile; it was obvious she was having a bad day. Joseph took a bit of his food and noticed Mitsukai wasn’t eating. “Eat.” He insisted. Mitsukai loved her veggie burgers and she should eat.
“I’m not hungry.” Mitsukai insisted and took a sip of her water. Joseph sighed. “You need to eat.” He said and ate more. He knew Mitsukai wasn’t eating because she was upset, a normal thing she did. “Mitsukai, the party was great last night.” Joseph said trying to start normal conversation. “Thank you.” Mitsukai mumbled.

Lily went to the lunch room after following some people there. She got a plate and then sat down by herself. She waited for her brother to come, she was really shy around new people without him. She started to eat her lunch slowly, looked down at her plate as she did so. Alex got to the lunch room a little later and had to stand in line. He sighed as he waved to his sister, she looked lonely. He bit his lip, waiting for the line to move. Were lines always this long here? He hoped not, or else it would completely suck here. The line moved slightly and he smiled, at least it was moving a little.

Kyuubi was walking to the lunchroom when he saw a portal next to him. He knew it was time. He walked through it. He looked over the land that spread in front of him. He walked over to the large building behind him. He was greeted by many and he soon was asking questions about Satori or any threat that appeared here. He always got a no he didn't expect that many people to know that much. He would have to ask his most trusted gaurd. "So, has Satori been spotted anywhere?"
"No, sir" said Kyuubi's old teacher. Kyuubi was releived at the good news. He was about to relax when he sensed a faint familiar power. He tensed. "Satori" he whispered, sounding barely audible. He looked out over the area. He saw a faint dot on the horizen. He could imagine the arrogant older sibling smirking at Kyuubi's direction.

Lorrie Etterling She never slows down. She doesn't know why, but she knows that when She's all alone, it feels Like it's all coming down… When the bell rang, Lorrie high tailed it out of there. Thorne’s hunger had intensified her own till she thought she was going to pass out, and at that moment all that was on her mind was food. Food, food, glorious food. She was in such a rush that Lorrie was practically running through the halls. She even went so far as to push a couple people out of her way, which in turn provoked glares that were sent towards her running form. Reaching the cafeteria, Lorrie quickly got in line and caught her breath. Man, she was out of shape…not good. She wanted to make the soccer team, and that wouldn’t happen if she couldn’t sprint from her class to the cafeteria without losing her breath.
Lorrie waited as patiently as any starving person could wait in the longest line in history. What was up with these lunch ladies? She would definitely been able to ring up items a lot faster than them. Bouncing on the balls of her feet impatiently, Lorrie looked for a distraction…any distraction. Nothing came to mind, so she decided a little conversation would help make the line seem like it was moving faster. Tapping the guy in front of her on the shoulder, she gave him a smile and introduced herself, “Hi. Man, aren’t these lines terrible?” She said stating the obvious. [[why is it every time my characters are hungry. I am too?]] She won't turn around. The shadows are long, And she fears if she cries That first tear, The tears will not stop Raining down.

Cadence recognized the girl that walked in late. She was in her first period English 4 class. She tapped Nikky on the shoulder and whispered to her. "That's the girl Mitsukai was upset about." She said, explaining. Cadence watched Nikky lean to the side to look at her. She didn't say anything, but merely nodded, so she turned her attention back to the teacher.

Daina saw Thorne come into class. She gave him a small smile. Thorne just sat there in class, well at least somebody she knew was in there, so Daina was thankful. The teacher babbled on about the three branches of government and such, basically things they already knew, and the class was getting restless.
Once the bell rang, Daina turned to Thorne. "I know it's none of my business, but something seems off about you today. Any way I can help?" She asked, for she had missed breakfast with the group and hadn't talked to any of them at all that day. There must have been something she missed..

Nikky looked at the girl when Cadence pointed her out. She just nodded in response. Nikky wasn't one to make comments about others, no matter how she felt about them. However, she was determined to talk to Mitsukai and see if she could help her.
Once the bell rang, Nikky got up and went with Cadence to the Cafeteria. They talked in line about how their classes were, and got their food. Both of them sat down at the table across from Mitsukai, Cadence next to Joseph, and Nikky on her other side. "Interesting first day, huh?" Nikky merely commented.

Alex turned around when he felt someone tapping his shoulder. He heard a soft voice and then saw a pretty girl. He bit his lip nervously as he looked at her, "Yeah... these lines really are long. Oh, and I'm Alex... do I get to know your name now that I told you mine?" He laughed lightly and waited for her to respond. The line moved slightly and he moved with it, this was going to take forever.

L pretty much exploded out the door when the bell rang. She had been craving lunch since first block. When she arrived she threw her stuff down at the table, shoving her top hat further down on her head when it threatened to fall. She walked into the line and growled quietly to herself as she waited. She then quickly grabbed a burger and fry's, Then a drink.
She walked down to the table and sat down next to Joseph with a heavy sigh. "Hey." She mumbled as she took off her hat and dropped it on the floor. She didn't care if she controlled anyone right now. She was starving, and lifted up her burger as she enjoyed her little piece of heaven.

Adam had been in the line when his sister had stormed in, clearly not happy. He allowed her to skip him, not wanting to be the target for her anger. Waiting patiently he eventually got a few slices of pizza and a bottled water.
He then made his way back to the table and sat across from L. A small smile played on his lips as he took a pepperoni off his pizza and popped it into his mouth. Looking around he wondered where Daina was. He figured she'd be here eventually so he turned back to the table, noticing something different about his sister. "Somebody's grumpy." He teased, knowing she got this way whenever she slept in. For some reason it always screwed her up. "Lose your hat?"
L looked up at him with a deathglare, quickly locking eyes before he could protest. A foul look crossed his face before he suddenly stopped, and calmed. The expression disappeared and he smiled. "I'm an idiot and I just wanted you all to know that." With a silly grin he teleported his food to the nearest trash can. He then got an angry expression as his sister smirked. "Hey! I just let you skip me in line to get that!" L raised her eyebrow at him as she spoke. "You know what I found interesting about your thoughts?" Her eyes glinted and Adam backed off, lifting up his hands in submission. "Fine." He got up again to get a new plate with a sigh.

Mick looked up from her desk when the bell rang. Hmm. How time flies when you don't pay attention. She shoved her book in her bag before throwing it over her shoulder and walking out behind the crowd. When she arrived at lunch she saw Adam stand up at the table, saying something to L. Apparently he gave up because he soon walked away towards the food line. She wasn't sure what had happened, but she didn't care either. Looking over at Mitsukai she wondered what her mood was. She had caught the fight earlier and wasn't sure if the girl was safe at the moment.
Buttt all her other friends had graduated so she walked over to the table, sitting a few seats down from L. She took out her notebook and emersed herself in finishing her sketch. Maybe 10 minutes later she was done and quickly closed the book, getting up and gonig to the line for food. She only got a bottled water, not feeling very hungry. Didn't matter anyway, she could always morph into a dog and eat roadkill. Yum. She made a face at her thoughts before turning around and heading back to the table.

Thorne Ramiro I'm strong on the surface, Not all the way through. I've never been perfect, But neither have you… [[Sorry shauna, I’m kinda redirecting how this convo happened/ Yay, Elaine! I’m working on mine too wink !]] There were ten minutes left. He could do this. He could make it till the end of class. A low growl of his stomach interrupted that thought. Know what? Screw this, Thorne thought as a plan started to form in his mind. He felt bad for Daina since she was sitting next to him, but right now no one was going to get in the way of him and food.
Thorne blew up his left hand effectively ruining the teacher’s rhythm of his droning lecture. “Ramir-!” the teacher yelled, but was cut off by Thorne’s loud, “s**t!” Thorne stared at the bloodied stump in horror hamming it up a bit. “s**t, s**t, s**t, it won’t regenerate!” He yelled as he inconspicuously winked at Daina. The teacher was panicking now as he tried rambling off the basics of power control. He obviously didn’t know what to do with a student who was going to bleed to death. So giving up in trying to help, he became business like and said, “Mr. Ramiro go to the infirmary, now, and have Miss Anderson escort you.”Thorne nodded weakly continuing with the theatrics. He gathered his stuff one-handed and sped out of the classroom. Thorne waited till Daina came out of the classroom before regenerating. Laughing in triumph, Thorne walked down the hall (assuming) with Daina. He was imaging all the good food he would be able to get now, and since they left early, they would be able to avoid any lines.
When Daina asked her question, Thorne felt his mood drop a bit. Oh yea, he had to apologize now. Man, what a drag, but he shrugged it off. Mitsukai deserved one since he had acted like a jerk. “Remember Lorrie? Well she’s going to this school now, so Mitsukai and me had a fight. No big deal. I just have to apologize now since I acted like an a*****e.” Thorne said nonchalantly not wanting to make a big deal out of it.
Reaching the cafeteria, Thorne grabbed a huge turkey sandwich and a bottle of water. Just in time, they had beaten the lines…score! Thorne looked over at the usual table. It seems like he was a slow walker or something because Mitsukai and some of the others were already there. Sighing, Thorne took a seat next to Mitsukai, and looked over at her. “Angel…can I?” He said lowly as he gestured to her hand waiting for her permission, not wanting to force anything after this morning. He did want to apologize just not with an audience, and it would feel weird if he asked to talk with her alone in front of all of their friends. When my time comes, Forget the wrong that I've done. Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed.

((That was totally alright, and awesome! i dont mind that you redirected the convo!))
Cadence ate her lunch in silence, reflecting on the text she had gotten the night before. Silently, she vowed herself to no longer date those who didn't have powers, that way she wouldn't get into that kind of mess again. She smiled, finally feeling better about herself.

Daina grabbed her things and followed Thorne out the door, on teacher's orders. She made sure she was far enough away from the classroom door before she burst into laughter. "Thorne, that was brilliant." She said, giving him a smile. "And, you managed to get us out of class early." She said, glad that there would't be horrible lines to deal with.
She listened to Thorne give her the basics about what had happened. Daina was used to him not going into detail. "Tough break, Lorrie coming here...Hey, just think, things could be worse." She commented. "I'm sure you will get things straightened out with Mitsukai." Daina added reassuringly. "I'll see you in the cafeteria, I have to go drop my books off." She said upon remembering her heavy load, and turned and walked to her locker.
By the time Daina made it to the cafeteria, the bell had already rung and lines were getting long. She saw Adam near the back of one line, and came up behind him, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Guess who." She said before he turned around.

Nikky ate her food slowly. She was trying to pay attention to what was going on around her. She thought up an idea to make Mitsukai feel better, but decided to wait to tell her, mainly because she wanted to tell her in private, and also because Thorne had also just asked to speak with her.

MitsukaiMitsukai looked at Nikky and forced a smile. “This is a horrible first day.” Mitsukai mumbled, then back down at her food. Joe was starring at her to eat her food. “I. Am. Not. Hungry.” Mitsukai said with slight anger issues. She then got up and threw her tofu paddy in the trash and sat back in her same seat. She noticed Lorrie in the line and stared at her. She then remembered what that kid said to her in last period. ‘Choosing the ex over you.’ She repeated in her mind. Before she knew it silent tears were running down her eyes. Ha, great way to start a scene in lunch.
She then heard Thorne’s voice. Wiping away her tears she turned to him. She smiled weakly at him. Great job Mitsukai. No today got 10 times greater. Mitsukai realized her was asking to hold her hand, without the glove. She was halfway tempted to say no, but she remembered she had his power.
Mitsukai looked at Thorne and frowned. “Sure, since I can explode my hand there’s nothing that will effect me badly.” Mitsukai said and took off her glove and grabbed his hand. Why did he like doing this? Her power was horrid yet he liked her using it. She tried to force the words Lorrie said about her power to herself, without much success.

Lorrie Etterling She never slows down. She doesn't know why, but she knows that when She's all alone, it feels Like it's all coming down… Lorrie giggled quietly when he asked for her name. “I’m Lorrie,” she said softly as she tucked a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. His gaze was a little unnerving, but she decided to give him a smile anyways; she wasn’t used to being stared at, and it was making her a little nervous. “What classes do you have? Maybe we have one together.” She said fishing around for something to say. But, right after the words left her mouth she wanted to slap herself. What a stupid question. It was one of those redundant things that you asked every person you met and it went right along with ‘what’s your power’ and ‘what’s your name’. Ignoring her little internal monologue, Lorrie continued rambling slightly as she ticked off her classes on her fingers, “I have English 4, Choir, Physics, Power Control, and then Algebra 2, Gym, World History, and Astrology.” She looked at him hopefully wanting a class with someone she actually knew. Well technically, she just met him, but hey that should count for something, right? She won't turn around. The shadows are long, And she fears if she cries That first tear, The tears will not stop Raining down.

Adam was still fuming over what L did. Sure it could have been worse, she really didn't do any damage .. Except get rid of his food. But she had gone into his thoughts, he had felt her probing around. It was one of the backdraws of L's power, she hand't learned how to hide what she was doing, and all her victims always got a strange look on their face. He was grateful she hand't announced anything to anyone, but still. She had invaded his mind. He hated that. And she knew it. Oh well, he siged to himself. No used crying over it.
He felt someone tap his shoulder a few seconds before he heard her voice. The familiar voice he had been talking to the previous night. He turned around with a grin as he put his hands in his pockets. "Hey Daina. Haven't seen you all day... Then again I didn't come to school until third." He shook the thought from his head. "How you been?"

Daina smiled up at him. "Ah, so you've been skipping.." She teased. "Well, I didn't see anyone I knew in Chemistry or psychology this morning. Thorne is in my government class, lets just say he made it quite entertaining today." She said, giving a small laugh as she remembered his antics. Absently, she grabbed some of her hair and begun to wrap it around her finger. "What about you? How was your third class?" She asked curiously. They had finally gotten to the beginning of the line. Daina grabbed a tray and waited for the line to move again.

Thorne Ramiro I'm strong on the surface, Not all the way through. I've never been perfect, But neither have you… [[sorry for my writing, it’s all weird and icky]]
Thorne was relieved when she let him hold her hand. He thought for a minute that she was going to say no, but thank God that she did not. He really didn’t want to start a scene…again. Thorne gazed at Mitsukai bothered by the fact her eyes seemed a little red. Had she been crying? Great. Just great. He was so stupid. Why did he have to let his anger get the best of him? Why, in God’s name, was he such a terrible person? But the fact was, Thorne was impulsive, reckless and not to mention a jerk. So it was no surprise they had ended up like this.
The words Lorrie had spoken to Mitsukai echoed in his head, and his brow furrowed in concern. Was that what she had been worried about? Sighing, Thorne prepared himself to make the long awaited apology. ‘Angel’, he started unsure how to turn his regret into something appropriate to say to her. This conversation felt out of place in the lunch room surrounded by friends and peers. It was too personal, too meaningful for a place like this. It was just out of place. But, it was too late for inhibitions. This was his fault and therefore he should be made to suffer the consequences. ‘Angel,’ he repeated as he finally caught elusive strand of what he wanted to say. ‘I’m so, so sorry. I was out of line. What I did was unforgivable and I understand if you don’t want to talk to me, or listen, but I was just angry. I didn’t mean it. Your power is great, better than mine. You shouldn’t let a person like Lorrie get to you. It’s not worth it.” He paused unsure of what to say to make her understand that Lorrie wasn’t going to mess their friendship or with their lives. ‘Look, Am I talking to her? Am I sitting next to her holding her hand and trying to make amends? No, I’m here next to you trying to keep our friendship intact, because she isn’t worth it.’ Thorne finished sincerity and regret pouring from his thoughts. He didn’t want his past to ruin his present. When my time comes, Forget the wrong that I've done. Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed.
