Um... why exactly is there such an issue with aging? Is it because of role-play continuity? I don't understand the need for an aging potions, because you guys also have the option of changing your character when you role-play. Just because you have the one username doesn't mean you have to role-play the same character the entire time you're in this guild; there's no rule that says you have to stay the same, as long as you let your fellow role-players know about it (the master list seems good for this). Your choice of character has always been extremely flexible save for the guild status. Why not simply change your character and the age along with it if you truly wish to be a different age than your rp buddies? The only thing that has to stay the same is your house. If the continuity is really that much of an issue, why not just communicate with the people you normally rp with and reach a consensus that way?
Besides, some students already age extremely slowly compared to others because they're not active enough. I don't move my Hufflepuffs to the next year unless they've shown some semblance of activity during the term. The same generally goes for the other houses. We also have the dreaded "7th year curse" because there are students who prefer to stay students. And graduates also have the option of going right back to being a student if they really wish to. So trying to input role-play continuity into this guild is already kind of a moot point.
Would you be planning to track graduate's age even if they go inactive? You can't track them all like that or some of them may not even get the chance to role-play their character until they've gone middle aged already, which is no fun at all if they were planning to role-play their glory years as a fresh out of school wizard. You're better off letting the person choose and change if needs be. More fun for the role-player that way, and alot less complications for whoever's running the system.

@Juni: well thats what I was kinda saying why not just have a master list with ages and if the role player wants to change thier age they can let someone know.
@Icee and Lyra: I do think we should put a restriction as to when you can change your age so that we aren't having to change one person's age a bajillion times!!! lol

Aging: It seems that the latest opinions all agree. You may choose your age (within reason; no 300-year-olds). At the end of each term, you may change your age if you wish. (Thanks for all the opinions; that really helped.)
-Should we stipulate here that you cannot get younger, but you may either stay the same age or get older? (Can always have a "child" and start the process all over again.)
-Should ages just be part of the master list of grads that Angil is going to do?
List of grads: Angil, this is just going to include the names of the graduates and when they graduated, right? And possibly their age too. Is it going to include tekteks as well?
-I think we should leave full descriptions (personality, etc) for posting in the RAs along with a house description, or it will get too long. We want the master list to be easy to read.
Graveyard: I think they should all be in one post. I like what DDA said about putting it in the house color, for example red for Lily and James Potter. Leave it as default if it's not clear which house.
Town Hall: DDA said he's reserved a post, so now it's Tina's turn. And then Angil. Don't forget to post in whisper style.

Aging.Ok. So master list shows the usernames and the character's name and ages. They may choose to change their age at the end of each term if they wish.
Graveyard. One thread I think is best, multiple posts can be made. One can list dead characters from the books, and one can be an updatable version for guild members.
List of Grads. To start, I will just list the names of the grads and the year they graduated. If I do add tekteks it will take a little longer to track down the way they looked at graduation but with how quickly people change avis this might be difficult. Everything else should be in the master list so it doesnt get too confusing and space consuming.

Angil: I'm confused.
I think there's only going to be one master list of grads, which will be your post in the Town Hall thread. This will include names, term graduated, and current age. (And possibly what each person looked like when they graduated.)
In the RAs, there can be full descriptions of the grads and their houses. (And maybe a more recent tektek.)
Is that what you meant, or something different?

-Yes, we should. (When you make the part about the "child" we need to make sure that for new Grads, it's after their 2nd Term, unless we want to change that too.)

List of Grads:I think it should include a picture (tektek) of what they looked like when they Graduated, we can send a tektek of what we want our characters to look like when they Graduated. Angil, you wouldn't have to go back and look for everyone's avi, we can just send them to you.
-I agree on this point.
Graveyard: That's what I was thinking but, I wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page. Is it still okay with everyone that I make the thread for it?
Town Hall: I'll post there as soon as I'm done here.

Graveyard: The reason I voted one post was because there won't really be anything to go in the guild members section, so I thought it should all just be together.
I wasn't aware that several people in the guild have based their characters after someone in the books, but I don't think that really matters anyway.
Children: How should we keep track of those who say they want to have a "child" (so that we know they've waited a term for the child to turn 11)? And how should we keep track of those who have a "child" attending Hogwarts?
List of grads: Angil, is it ok if people just PM you when they graduate to let you know the age they choose, and then PM you at the end of the term if they want to change their age? Or is there some other way you can think of? Do you have a mule account perhaps?

Graveyard: Yeah, several people have and the really get into r-p using their backgrounds, which is why I brought it up. If we put them all together, I don't really think it would matter, either.
Children: I suppose we could keep track of them on the Masterlist too. This is one reason why I wanted to keep the aging we had before. When the list is updated every term we could just put in small or invisible (write in white or size 0) at the bottom of the list, that way it doesn't get to long as Angil is worried about. Once they have a "child" attending Hogwarts we can do the same thing to the Masterlist and it would be written in the RA's too (since it is a description). Then over in the Common Rooms when the "child" becomes a student again, we would have them listed like, for example:
Gryffindor:
First Years:
Avatar34 (The character's name & then possibly the name of the parent, like mine would be...)
Gryffindor:
First Years:
Avatar34 (Phoebe Aurora {insert husbands/fathers last name too}, daughter of Tina Aurora and {husbands/fathers name}.
((I do intend to use the name Phoebe just so everyone knows.))

Also, I asked Andrew to come up with a sketch of Hogsmeade with the RAs, the Park, and the Graveyard and he did an awesome job. He's going to make it all pretty for us and then we can post it in the RAs (and even the Town Hall, if we want to) for a reference.
