she got warmer no she cant be dead -thinks- mountain lake almost frozen water she just froze -snaps fingers and cast a fire in the fireplace at the foot of our bed and kisses hold her cold body in arms covering up holding her body close- i this help baby

He slouches in his chair, face like stone and sips his wine. He says nothing, he looks at nothing, but his mind is brooding. His fist clenches tightly around the glass, repeatedly squeezing but there is no other movement.
