Great idea... and while you do that, I'll be avoiding RO for a while, due to the fact that the damned registration page won't let me sign up... stressed See earlier post for details.... aw hell, lemme just backtrack... Reason that HS is pissed at RO Wierd thing: I put in my ID and everything for registration to RO... And the damn thing won't let me in, due to the fact that either it doesn't seem to recognize that I typed one in... (It's 10 letters and unused, so it's cool...) or the whole thing's messed up at the moment. I'm guessing that it's the second one... xp Nature of the problem: It keeps saying "enter numbers or characters at least 4 letter". Thing is, I already typed an ID in there... I'm like WTF? gonk stressed

My name on MobRO is Fenny. But i'm really annoyed with it right now. I'm having some serious difficulty with firewall. Read: Enemies have just been straight up ignoring it. The only way a lone mage can fight an aggressive enemy is if they use firewall, and firewall doesn't seem to be working, and therefore, I die. A lot. And i'm starting to get really pissed, because every time I die, it's usually preceded by the enemy walking straight through my firewall and then lag conveniantly hitting so I bounce back and forth while the enemy mercilessly hits me from 4 cells away. My nerves are slightly on edge now. stressed

But when I try to log onto the site or the game it tell's me I am not a registered member. Though my gaming client is in another language, which I think is Japanese. And thus I can not really tell what it is saying. And I have not yet figured out how to turn that language to English... sweatdrop

SO!! What factions are there going to be in WoG? I'm just wondering. there are sides and citiys, It'd be nice to know groupings there too.
I know there's the East and Western Empire/Kingdoms (I'm not sure whether the entire of each side is ruled by a monarchy or what. Are there smaller kingdoms in each? or does Sey own the gaian Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and everything else in that part? Though I guess the East in WoG is just one huge Japanese-influenced continent thinger.)
SO! The West and it's army, the East and it's Army and Lumina and it's forces, wherever it is.
Also the Temples. Lumina's forces cound as the Dark temple's so then Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Light followers.
I control the Knights of Nyx, and the Air followers, kinda.
So we have:
East Army
West Army
Dark Clergy / Forces of Lumina?
Light Clergy
Fire Clergy
Water Clergy
Earth Clergy
Air Clergy
Knights of Nyx (Dark Paladin)
What other factions are there? What are you part of and control npcs of?
I am part of the Air clergy and control them somewhat, though less right now cause of 5 years ago.
I Made/Control the Nights of Nyx and the forces of their city that still needs naming. I will control Dark paladin and maybe a few Dark magi.
I am a Water mage, but not a member of the clergy of the Water temple.

HS, is your password more than four characters? If it's still not working for you, I could try registering you from here...but I don't know if you can change your password after registering.
Ethan, the language is Korean. Did you follow the downloading instructions on the MobRO site? Make an attempt to update kRO and Sakray before running the MobRO patcher?
As far as factions in WoG go...I have no idea. The conflict is supposed to be mainly between East and West, right? But at the temples to the six elements, both Eastern and Western students are trained...that could lead to some interesting scenarios.

They don't necessarily have to be in conflict. I'm just wondering what the various groups are. Also, leading or being high rank in a faction, you could have npcs from them. I'm just wondering about fairly major affiliations that have large groups of npcs.
Also, I believe that there are smaller schools of each of teh elements that a country does not have. i.e. the west probably has a smalled school/shrine of air, but the bigger and better temple is in Easters gaia.
The factions are interesting, cause if you wanted fighters you could be going to them and having them support. It'd be fun to have a few large battles now and then. Or you could go off and do your own thing with your forces.

Minus 4 days and 8 months till im 18 and it becomes Illegal to be close to my current g/f o.o If there are factions then it proably just East and West. Usually magic is treated on a different basis as if its own country but still underule of others in the many books that i have read. So the temple themselves would proably not be divided by the war just the people inside them. Which make it seems baised but thats mainly because of were there situated. Since not ever Easterner/Westerner can travel safely through ragging battlefields to go to the magic school of there training. Crap i got of track >.> Well anywho i was thinking the Temples themselves would be sanctuary's in the war. And the smaller schools the more biased. That doesnt mean mages outside of the temple can choose sides they just can't do anything in the temples >.>

Mm... I guess It depends on the temple, really. THE Dark temple was in its own city, and had it's own alignment before. The Light temple was in Lab an dpretty neutral. I guess that the other temples like Fire, Water and Earth would be under control of the sides tha tthey exist on, though the Air temple was supposedly in the middle of nowhere and protected by great amounts of wind. As far as I was concerned, it had its own purpose too. It was neutral, but still it did its own thing.
Also... I don't just mean factions of warriors, or people who fight each other. I mean any group of people. The Water Clergy are those who are in the temple and follow the High Priest/Priestess. Other Water magi who are not members of the main temple yet are not considered part of that group.
What about Alcy's ninja clan? Any guild, clan, group, or whatever I'd like to know.
Hm.... Unless the temple was part of a city, I don't think that it could influence things muchly. Still, it is a named group of people and a source of common NPCs(party worthy npcs)
What are other named groups of sources of common, party worthy npcs?
