Danny said to the Stranger, "Or maybe to Strange himself? He'd know what to do."

The Stranger replied, "Circumstances have placed it into her hands. This is something that I had no part in, nor can I undo. Nor can I influence the decision itself. I can merely warn you of it. Daniel," he said, turning back to Danny, "If you ned to reach me, consult Doctor Strange. He will know how to do so. Or, you may consult Wong now. He is currently possesed of this information. However, my business here has been concluded. There are still many more footsteps to my journey, and time is short. I bid you farewell." The Phantom Stranger walked to the door and opened it before Danny could stop him.

"Wait! You never said who you were. Do we know you?"

"No. I am but a Stranger. As are we all." Then, the Stranger walked out of the door, and into a mist that appeared out of nowhere. There were others he needed to speak to. In a moment's time the mist cleared, revealing no trace of the Phantom Stranger whatsoever. He was gone.

[exit the Phantom Stranger to Gotham City]

"Who was that?" Danny wondered.

Rorschach watched the whole thing with fasctination. It was clear he was searching magical people, but then how did Black Cat figure into situation? Another puzzle needing solving. Despite personal feelings towards him, Ozymandias would be an asset in this Universe. "Erm..." Veidt was not here. Rorschach would have to solve it himself.

Wolverine said to Danny, "Beats me, bub. Who let him in, anyways? I don't remember Wong letting him in."

Logan looked a little surprised. "Comin' from the woman who just tried to agure with him about some vague 'decision'."

Danny said to Logan, "Hey, leave it alone."

Logan sniffed the air again, and said, "Comin' from the man who--"

"Leave... it... alone."

"Whatever you say, Danny." Wolverine then walked to Reaper. "So, kid, what're you here for?" He sniffed the air again to get a better feel for him. "You smell like trouble."

((Enter Spider-man from New York))

"Okay, I'm here, and the world outside has officially gone to hell, in a hand-basket, a wicker hand-basket, with a frilly lace border. And did any of you guys see a whacko in a trench coat just walk in here like he owned the place?!?!"

"You might want to try breathing, Spider," Cat said lightly, "Most of us do it to survive. It involves taking air into the lungs, and then expelling it. The funny thing is, you shouldn't be able to talk without being an expert at this difficult art. How do you do it?"

((Enter The Flash and U. Spider-man from the JLA Satallite))

Upon materializing, the Flash zipped right up to the door of the office complex, then zipped back to get a better idea of how the whole thing looked, and then zipped up to the door again, his expression supremely skeptical. "Are you sure this is the place, Superman?"

Rosie watched and listened to everyone as she finished the last of her chocolate milk. She took a quick look down at her empty glass and plate, then up at the kitchen. This wasn’t her house or anything, so she should probably at least take the dishes back into the kitchen instead of leaving a mess out here. She quickly stood up and took her dishes into the kitchen to sit them on the table. She thought for a moment and glanced over at the sink. No, it looked like it was a lot bigger than she was…she’d have to let someone else wash them. She turned back to the door with a little smile. Good. Wasn’t one for chores anyway.

She made it to the doorway and paused a moment, looking around. She took a quick look at the room where everyone else was, then a quick look down a hallway. She put a little finger to her chin and took another glance into the room, then back down the hall. A mischievous little grin curled around her lips as she glanced back into the other room. It would be fine to explore just a little bit, right? She was getting kind of bored with all the grown-up talk. Plus there wasn’t really much for someone like her to do in there anyway. Though she might get in trouble if she didn’t go back with the others…at least if one of her didn’t.

With a little smile, she started to walk back into the other room. As she did, the back of her began to glow slightly and another little red head popped out. One Rosie made her way back into the room to sit by Reaper again, while the other quietly made her way down the hall, trying to be careful that no one else saw her.

The loud knock startled Cat enough that she jumped... some ten or fifteen feet. She bumped her head on the celling, landed on a couch, and rubbed her sore scalp. "Ow! Do they honestly expect us to open the door to that?"

Flash blinked. "Um... That might not be the best way to get them to open the door."

Spider-man raised an eyebrow at Flash. It wasn't often that he felt like the mature one in a situation. "Strange is one of the few people that wouldn't be intimidated by a knock like that. Trust me." Of course, he might not open the door anyway... If he was feeling lazy, or was in the middle of... 'meditating.' Maybe this version of Strange would be a little more reliable, and a little less obsessed with his stupid TV show.

Spider-man froze, either that knock was a good knock, or a very, very bad knock. "Wake Strange." He said to Wong. "He'll be able to tell who it is without opening the door for them."

Superman shifted a little, for all the world like an embarrassed kid. "Sorry." he said abashedly, and knocked again in a much more gentle fashion.

Spider-man blinked. Superman looking like an embarrassed little kid... Not something you saw every day. Of course, you didn't see Superman every day, so that was most of the bizarre factor right there.
