((Sorry.))

"Yes Sir! Will do!"

Looking aorund arfter saluting Brennan, I spot an area of the walls that seemed less heavily defended then the rest. Couching the LAAG in my arm, I jog over to the wall, standing beside a Spartan in the prone position. ((? Please correct me if I am wrong about this.)) Aiming my weapon, I fire loosing hundreds of rounds in a single minute. Eventaully, I run out of ammo, Dropping the large canester of ammunition from my back, the chain of ammunition hanging from the gun.

Dropping my weapon, I quickly run over to the Scorpian and open the hatch, motioning for the soldier to get out. Blinking at the sudden light, he does, allowing me to get in his seat.

With a snort, I step in, and then sit down. The ports on my back slip into the cybornetic control units set into the seat, allowing me to control the tank completly. druming my fingers on my knee, I tap a few controls activating the engine with a roar. Aiming the turret I depress the fireing studds, making the weapons jitter in their mountings, the main cannon blasting away at the Covanant forces, making their Wraiths explode in a fountain of blue fire.

He got up and pulled out his pistol running crouched across the base checking on the opposite side seeing as the side he had been on was safe enough he figured hed go help somewhere else. Crouching to one knee he pulled his binoculars up zooming to 10X he scanned the area and took his binoculars off still crouching he looked behind him watching howie pick off grunts for a little bit and then laid down pulling out his battle rifle and waited for something to pop up.

Kristi was getting tired of carrying around this heavy armor and actually thought of stripping out of it. She didn't for two obvious reasons, one, she'd be the most vulnerable person out there if she did and two, she didn't want to give any men, covanent or human, to oogle her body.

He heard a soldier to his right talking about the Covenant makeing their way to the north and was startled. He ran over to Gapenski and said "I think we may have troble comeing our way. Conserve ammo for now, we may be in for it in about five or ten minutes." he felt a bit of pebbles hit the back of his head, a plasma bult had hit the rock and nearly made it to his head. "They are getting stronger, and closeing in fast" he threw a granade over thr rock and was satisfied to hear lots of elite, jackle, and grunt screams.

Growling slightly in the cockpit of the massive Scorpian, it's confining space not my style. Popping the hatch, disengaging my cybornetic contacts from the controls, I stand in the cockpit. Looking around, my eye still addjusting from the sudden light, I hop out of the cockpit, going to my LAAG.

Perfering to be in close, then long range, I pick up my LAAG once more, forgetting it's lack of too much amunition. With a relativly wild look in my eye, I run to the second wall, jumping on top. Upon spotting several large hulking brown shapes upon the hills beyond a large killing field full of dead Covenant, and smoking ruins of vehicles, dead due to the large amount of mines layed out before the pass.

Magnifying the view several times using my optical implants, I can almost clearly define the large hulking forms of Brutes. My eyes go wide, and I call out.

"Brutes! Aww s**t they've got Brutes!"

((srry for the ooc, but hey nex, the scorpions are both at the southern pass and theyve already taken out the opposition at that point. Plus they are not to be moved yet because of the request to have them restationed in pending. The mine field hasnt been reached by the covenant yet either. And the firing rate on a LAAG is about 500 round per minute. Not being mean but im just saying sweatdrop ))

((yeah no problem))

As the lieutenant moved about checking the situation on with the tank crews and machine gun crews on whether or not they needed ammo, since it seemed the only way anything would get done is if he did it himself, rather then relaying orders to other marines when they had other things to do. He noticed that he was down to 3 magazines of ammunition left, including the one he had in the BR55 already. "Need ammo..."

With a small growl, I leap off of the top of the second/inner wall and onto the outer/first wall. Holding my LAAG upright, I start running through the minefield, using my optic's electrical signature setting. I see one mine, I step around it, I see another, I leap over it, my mechanics carrying me up and over the mines. Forsaking the safty of the Butte and the Walls, for the much larger danger of the battle field, I run headlong towards the foe.

Eventually, I get to the front lines of the enemy position, using their dead vehicles as cover. Once again forsaking safty for action, I leap onto the dead Wraith, blasting away half of my remaining ammo. Seeing several tents and white ridged grunt towers, I run over to them, Cracking skulls left and right, several alarms blaring as I rampage through their encampment. Without knowing it, I walk into a deeper and deeper trap, teh Covenant forces comming in behind me, blocking my escape route.

Chasing several grunts, I run into a U shaped gully, blasting away at them all, blowing bits of their armor away, their pityful metals no match for the rounds of the LAAG. Turning around once I see that the grunts ahve been dispatched, I notice that the entrence tot he Canyon is slightly darker.

"Aw crap. Brutes."

Leveling my LAAG at them, I let loose once more, fireing for about three seconds, then finally running completly out of ammunition.

"s**t."

With a jerk, i deploy my nono-molecular blade, the extremly sharp sword jutting out of my wrist. Dropping my depleted LAAG, I charge fully at them, slicing first one way, then another, gutting one Brute and another one after that.

One mistep now, and I will be dead.

I think to myself, not aware of the fact that I was already going to die.

With a grunt, I swing my body to the left, twisting my torso so that I do not get gutted myself with a Brute shot's blade. Apparently at the same the one swung his blade, another one to my left swung his. This one caught my left arm at the elbow, severing it completly. The pain shoots up my body, overwhelming my mind with numbness.

With a shock, I feel myself go numb, and my mind "sees" my body from the outside. I see myself surrounded by eight Brutes, Each chortling and huffing at my own apparant stupidity at having charged the lines myself.

As they chortle, I see one particularly large Brute, walk up with a glowing orange flag stuck on his back like one of the ancient Japanese Warriors. The other Brutes back away from me, leaving the honor of killing one who had caused such destruction, to him. I sit there, on my knees, blood pouring out of my body, slowly killing me. I see him raise his highly decorated Brute shot up into the air, for a massive killing blow.

I see myself suddenly lunge, striking outwards with my mono-molecular edged blade, striking his throat, cutting his ugly head from his semi-nonexistant neck. I watch as the other Brutes look at his falling head, cleanly detached from his neck, fall to the ground.

I watch with a pained sorrow as the others Raor in rage, and go berserk. They each pull back their Brute shots, but one strikes first, severing my metal-reinforced spine, causing sparks and bone bits to fly out of my wound. I can see with an extremly detached feeling, as I get hit again and again, each blow breaking something and severing some other part.

Several strikes hit some of my onboard power packs, making them detinate in a shower of sparks, litterally cooking the Brute that hit them. As the final blow is struck, my last powerpack is crushed, loosing a relativly tiny thermo-nuclear explosion.

((Yes my character is Nuclear...Or was.))

The explosion, vaporizes what is left of the Brute captain, and his enterage. The fires can be seen for miles around, as it washes out and above the canyon walls, insinerating everything in it's path.

However, it's path was altered by the walls and did not hit the Covenant Camp except for the outer rim, which was only Grunt tents anyway. This would mean for those still battling away on the Butte that they would have no shortage of foes to battle in the later times. ((My character's rampage through the emcampment did however lower the nuimbers some...))

"Here you go" Drake says as he gives the 2 mounted turrets some ammo from the cart of it he got from the extra ammo supplies. Drake then runs over to the scorpion, careful of the few shots that the retreating enemy may fire, and said ..." What about you guys? Do you need some more ammo?"

Seeing the explosion from his position his eyes get wide. "What the ******** was that?" He pointed in the direction of it and turned howies head in its direction hurriedly. "Whatever it was just blew the s**t out of whatever was around it right?"
He holstered his pistol and pulled out his binoculars zooming in to the spot he had seen it coming from.

One of tank crew men looked up to Drake and looked back down to check the amount of tank shell they had left, "No were good sir, thanks anyways." The crew member went back to the gun sights incase anything did try to come back through the southern route, though it was highly unlikely at this point. The explosion off in the distance did catch his attention though and was alittle startling considering it came from where the covenant were. The other crew men had stopped checking over the tanks exterior for any spot the plasma mightve hit, to look up at the explosion.
