Kia wasn't about to be a fool and do the same attack again. It did seem to distract him long enough that he wasn't saying love anymore.

While the were was down, Kia turned to grab Kalia. She was in the middle of the floor, in danger of being caught up in the fight. He had a funny feeling this was a fight he wouldn't be able to win. He might be able to beat this were, but how many was sitting outside that door to come in next? He was certain he wouldn't last that long.

He quickly had scooped Kalia into his arms, and was moving for a wall. He was a runner, so even with Kalia's weight, he was fast. His hand hurt when he moved it. He just hoped he would heel quick enough. He was curtain he had broken it hitting the were's mouth. "Are you alright?" He hoped Kalia would be able to hear him. She was his only concern at that point. He had actually forgotten to keep his eyes on his opponent, as he was so engrossed on Kalia.

Kia turned into the room she directed him to. "Are you alright now? What happened back there?" Kia was lost now. Things weren't happening as they should have happened. Kia tried to flex his hand, but was greeted with pain. "I think I broke my hand..." Kia winched as he said that. "That freak has some tough mouth." Even in these times, Kia tried to lighten the mood, but failed at it.

Listening to Kalia, Kia placed her down carefully. He let her feet touch the ground first, to see if she could even stand. "Are you alright though? If your thinking of me, I'll be find." The pain in his wrist was already getting better. "See." He moved his hand around, but his face betrayed a few signs of pain. "Do you have a plan? I no longer know where we are. I know the way we came in though, but I think the big doors might be blocked."

Kia waited for Kalia to do what she felt she needed to do. "I'm... afraid to... use..." Kia started looking at the ground. "I can't use my powers here. That... quick movement thing. It makes me weak. I have a feeling if I use it here, we wont make it out." He hated admitting a weakness, even if he didn't know its full extents.

Looking around, he just noticed how much sharper everything seemed to him. The walls were in sharper contrast, and he could almost swear he could see better right now. A mirror was on a wall nearby, and he looked at his eyes. They weren't blue, but gold. "My eyes! Why are they gold?" He was surprised. He never saw golden eyes before. It seemed odd. And was it just him, or was his pupil not round?

Kia refused the meds. He was already starting to feel better. "They do? I thought they where always blue?" He shrugged, as he brushed it off. If it didn't bother Kalia, it didn't bother him.

Walking away from the mirror, Kia sat down. "Shouldn't we be, like, I don't know... running?" Kia stated. He hoped they weren't found in this room. If they where, they could be trapped. He might end up having to use his unreliable abilities at that point. "Are you going to be alright?" Kia was concerned. She seemed to be in bad shape right now. She needed rest, but she couldn't do that here.

Kia sighed, "I'm not liking where I think this is going, but I'm all ears." He leaned closer to her, as he rested his elbows on his knees. He would listen, but that didn't mean he would like her plan. Only one way to find out.

Kia was about to reject the idea, but then thought better of it. "I don't know what it is that happens when I use my abilities." He was thinking, but there wasn't time. "I'll only do it when I need to. Till then, I'll run off my own steam. I don't know what full it, as I feel fine for the moment." When did his hand stop hurting? "See, I can move it fine now." He flexed his wrist, no signs of pain any more.

"You ready to move?" Kia stood up. He held his arms out so she could slid into them as he picked her up. "I doubt that you can run that fast right now. No, I don't think you could walk a straight line at the moment." She seemed more relaxed, so he presumed that the pain killers were taking affect for her. That was good.

Kia started to head out of the room, looking down each hallway before he took a step out. Quickly, he started to run down the hallway again. He was lost on this end. "Which way is out." He asked, though in more of a statement. He kept his senses alert for anything that might be trouble. His senses weren't as strong as Kalia's or other werewolf's, but they were still rather sharp.
