Of course the kid didn't realize he'd nearly died. Seeing Lady Swiftfeather coming towards him, he decided it'd be a great time to skedaddle and pretend like he'd been getting Nillrik food the entire time. Thus, off to the vendors. "What'd you want to eat, kiddo?" Setting the boy down and rubbing at his sore shoulder. "You can have anything you like."
He stopped and shied at the sudden inability to move, prancing on the ground nervously and tossing his head. Her voice was soothing but he was still rebellious and he wanted to run free. His eyes rolled and he watched her closely then lowered his head and batted at the space in front of him with his sharp antlers. Don't come any closer.

A blink as Lylani decided to offer her own opinion, and in reaction Galesen's ears dropped a little bit as he looked at the woman for a moment. "It's okay Isle, everyone has their own opinion so let her speak hers if she wants too." Was he angry? No, like he said she wanted to let out what she "saw", everyone usually does so anyway. Though soon Blackforst was asking questions, and Isle of course replied with answer that indicated that he would be over at Lylani's place later. So after all was said and done Galesen gave his thanks and goodbyes before they walked away. As they walked along Galesen thought over his new dagger for a moment, he can either keep it for himself or give it to Kelligrin when he goes to the fortress later, but since it might have a little trick to it it would be better to find out what it is so he knows what it is and if he wants to give it away. "I think it is almost time to head back is it not?" Though as they walked along Galesen noticed a comotion, being a bit curious Galesen couldn't help but gravitate toward the scene, and there he saw Fianna. "Huh, wonder how it got out." Though Fianna certianly had things under control.

"I know exactly what I want." Which meant he lead the way that his nose told him and soon enough he was chowing down on something that was probably more sugar and such than anything else. "How come you only eat fish?" Or so he'd seen.
"Yes I know, you're unhappy. I'll make a deal with you...I'll let you go if you calm yourself and cause no more troule. You'll be free to leave and go back to the forest we share."
"Faulty fencing." Ignoring the rest of what was going on though and merely makign their way back to their seats where she took to lounging back and eating blueberries.
"You know singing to me puts me right now...if it would make you feel better that I rested more, I wouldn't mind at all. At least keep me from being nervous."

"Hmm..." He thought it over for a minute before realizing that Isle took off, and so Galesen picked up the pace and caught up to her before she disappeared on him. So they made their way back to their seats and sat down, Galesen of course took out his trail mix and began to eat. "So, if you don't mind me asking, who is this Blackfrost? Never seen her before." Nope, never did; even with his two jobs Galesen didn't go everywhere on Andal.

"I don't only eat fish but fish is my favorite thing to eat. I live in the sea, kiddo. That's my favorite place and usually where I find my food." He took a bite of Nillrik's sugary confection and hoisted the boy back up onto his shoulder, though avoided the spot where he'd been struck. "We need to get you back to your mother." And hopefully the disaster with the stag had been averted.
He looked a bit uncertain for a moment but then lifted his head and gazed into her eyes. He saw the truth of the four leaves there and slowly pawed as the ground then lowered his head in a show of respect not aggression. Your deal is well made, Your Highness. I submit. Allow me to run free and I'll not cause anymore trouble.
She smiled and gave a nod, beginning the song shortly thereafter and singing until he had indeed fallen into reverie. Brushing her lips over his forehead, she sat there for a long time with him, holding his hand and praying that the review board would come down rather hard on the one who'd cheated.

"Lylani is just an old friend of mine. We don't see each other too often but we're close. At the very least, we always have what the other needs. Makes for easy deals." Shrugging lightly, "You just don't know all my friends."
"I don't like seaweed, it tastes bitter." And he'd tried it before, but a little whine as Kyst took a bite yet at the same moment the kid didn't seem to care any longer as he was carted back to the stands, being filled with sugar the whole way.
Reaching out a hand she rested it on his muzzle, sometimes talking to animals was a great perk when being a wood elf. "Well met then." Pulling her hand back and giving him a little curtsey and a flick of her wrist to pull off her runics on him.

Galesen gave a small nod as Isle went about explaining her relation to Lylani. "I see." Well that explained most of his inquiry, but what he also wanted to ask would be deemed a little too personal so he was not going to push it. "Of course, even after living here for the past while I wouldn't know everybody. Heck, you don't know the few customers I have who I go surfing with but it's not big deal." And it wouldn't be really.

"It's not seaweed, silly. Although that's good with a bit of salt and sometimes rock pounded and sugared, too." He chuckled at the little boy and stepped up to the stands, plopping back down in his original spot. Looked like they'd gotten the stag under control and for once he wasn't going to be blamed. Well kaching to that!
He pushed his forelock forward and bowed his head in his own response then waited while the magic was lifted before he bounded off safely into the woods where he would have been released and then chased back down. With the Queen's promise, he now could return to his family.
She waited until she was absolutely positive that Vale wasn't going to be coming out of reverie anytime soon and then left the tent to watch the rest of the tournament. She was bonded to Vale so when he woke up she'd know it and she'd be right back in there with him. But for now, sitting still was driving her crazy.

"Uh huh. I tried it. It's icky either way." Sticking his tongue out at the other elf and then giving a wave to his mother and merely smiling as she had shook her head at him. "It's tournament, I get treats." Because somehow in his head, that worked.
"You need better PR then." Shaking her head to that and merely trying to ignore that Nillrik was going to get hopped up on sugar now. "I know, Kyst is spoiling you again. You're going to turn into sugar, you should be careful." Turning a look back to Galesen, "Why would I know your customers? They're not people important in my life or those connected to it. They merely fill your pockets. Can't compare."
"Before you question it, yes I am serious about you both taking time off. You need some time off anyway and he needs to heal. You can even leave headquarters, go visit another nation for a while or what not. Whatever it is you do to enjoy yourself."

"I have enough to deal with all the royalty I need to be around." He saw Nillrik and gave a small wave to the boy. "Oh that be fun to see, hope the sun won't melt him and all." A look to Isle and he blinked once. "I meant they are my surfing buddies, and they are not all of my customers but a certain few who I met up and hang out with a least twice a week when the season is perfect for surfing. Although we are not as close as you and Lylani are, we still are a tight group." After all they wanted to be around the one who brought surfing to Andal and just practice and have fun.

"You just don't know what good is, kiddo." Ruffling his hair and then nodding to Isle. "Oh, don't lie to him. My mom used to tell me that all the time too and it's not true. Unless I'm all sugar and we all know that's not true." Giving another laugh and glancing down at the field. "Second wind started up yet?"
She whirled around in surprise, her cheeks heating once again at being caught outside the tent. She hadn't expected anyone to come up behind her and now that he was here, she didn't quite know what to say. "I don't think I'll be visiting another nation. I'll probably just stay at Headquarters. Read or something."

"Don't whine Galesen and stop justifying yourself. I could really care less who you hang out with and the like. You have surfing buddies, I get it. Not all your friends are mine and not all of mine are yours." She never understood why he did that, supposed it was another one of those weird things from Labyrinth or something. "You're anything but sugar, Kyst."
"If I was made of sugar, I think the animals would eat me first." Blinking and getting that spaced out look as if he was thinking of such things before giving a giggle and back to eating his treat and making a mess of his hands and the front of his tunic. A point though to the field as they were moving on to jousting.
"The point of giving you both time off is for you two to spend some time together, not sit around and read all that you've read before. Family is important, and spending time with them is precious." Stopping there because he didn't particularly want to think of family right now.

Galesen blinked once, and then turned to Isle a little bit, now where the hell did that come from? He was just stating why it would be different yet the same, maybe that's not the way it came across but jeez. "I think all the other kids would go after you first Nillrik, boy I remember how sugar always got me hyper." A small chuckle to that before he shook his head lightly and then looked down to the arena. "Soon I bet, I'm guessing they are just going to finish what battles are scheduled for today before heading on to the other areas and such."

Kyst stuck his tongue out at Isle but pretended like he was licking some of the sugar off his lip. Wouldn't do for the boy to start copying him in a very bad way. "Yes, they do seem to like sweet things." Reaching over and gently tickling him to bring him back to reality. Napkins came in handy and he pulled a handkerchief out and handed it over. 'Wash your face." Turning his attention back to the field. "Another friendly wager, Nil?"
"I know that." She said it softly but couldn't help the concern that leapt into her eyes at the look on his face. Her heart ached every time she thought of him saying goodbye to his brother. "Do you want to....sit down?"

"Yes hyper." He was never going to go down for reverie, she knew that much. It was hard enough as it was these days. "They're doing jousting. Which I don't understand...why are men going to ram into each other at top speed to knock each other for a loop, just because they can?"
Nillrik gave a disappointed sound as he was told to wipe himself down but he took the offered cloth and did it anyway. "That's no fun." But duly distracted with more betting. "Yes! Umm..." Scanning the field as elves and their horses were brought out. "The brown one! I want the brown one." Horse that was.
"I've practically been standing all day, tournament organizing and all." Taking a seat on the bench as well and leaning forward some, elbows on his knees to stretch out his back some before straightening back up. "Let me guess, you're never going to let him into tournament again?"
