The girl raised an eyebrow. "I can't walk in here after you?" she asked coldly. "I just have to be following you? How do you know I was?"

The girl's hand clenched up. "What did you say?" she demanded. She charged at him and grabbed at his collar, trying to push him against the wall.

The man's eyes slitted and his teeth started to gain an edge, "Let. Me. Go," He said, his voice extremely deep and dark.

"Not until you apologize, little punk," the girl snapped. She drew a small knife, not even seeming to be bothered by the man's physical changes.

The man was going to do something bad to her, but then he saw a monster approaching them. So he shoved her away and ran at the creature.

The girl recovered quickly and drew another dagger. She began attacking the creature as well.

The man fought expertly with his fists. Normally a human's fist would be broken upon punching hard scales, but his fists actually broke the monster's scales instead.

The girl was a little awed, but she focused on cutting the monster's flesh once the man had broken the scales.

The monster eventually caught the man with its teeth and bit his arm clear off. The man yelled and kicked the monster's neck, crushing the creature's throat and breaking its neck. The monster crumpled to the floor lifeless.
The man leaned against a wall and panted. Blood poured from the stump that was his right arm.

The girl gasped and moved to the boy's side. She started trying to use her limited magic to heal him, though with black magic this was rather difficult.
