Ona sat with her head lying on her paws. Her eyes were open, but they seemed like they were empty. She sat there and stared out into a thick part of the woods, waiting for something. Snow had fallen on her back and there seemed to be a small nest like resemblence to the leaves that were close by. Sighing, she rolled over on her back and sat looking at the sky, or what little the tree top branches let her see.

Kamali cought Ona's sent in the passing breeze and he glanced to Gizmo. "Hold on, I want to go get someone.." he yipped and hopped from the boulder, padding through the woods at a quick trot. As he came to the tree line he spotted Ona and barked a few times.
"Ona! Sorry for leaving.. would you like to come meet Gizmo?" his head tilted, and he frowned as he looked over her face. She looked.. sad.

Ona looked in the direction of the bark and saw Kamali. She felt a little happy to see him, but that couldn't cover her sadness apparently. "Hi Kamali...," she started, "Is there anything to do aound here? I hate waiting, and waiting for my parents is killing me. Last time I was this bored, I went out exploring and met this pack." finishing with a sort of 'this is all I could find' tone, though unknowingly.

He looked a little sheepish "You can come play with Gizmo and I.. I'm sure he'll think up a game.." he murmered, frowning. He decided that he didn't think her parents were ever going to return, but he didn't mention that thought out loud.

strawberry jelly Sitting, Tobias looked to the ground, wondering how to answer Carmen's question. He wasn't quite sure when he started being in the pack. He thought back to when he first tracked down and found the pack while they were traveling. Perhaps then? It seemed like the alpha, on that day, just accepted him into the pack. He didn't question his being there. That should have been... perhaps a week ago. Only a week. Although he wasn't sure. Time was hard to keep track of.
"I think... I believe it has only been two weeks." he said, still wondering exactly how much time it had been. *Onlooking towards Tobias as he seemingly went into a trance Carmen couldnt help but go in one herself. Lifting her eyes to the skys at first she noticed the dark clouds that loomed into the air.. Naw it was normal. Its not like... their wherent ever clouds around. The only thing grey clouds usually meant was snow....more snow XP; But.. how deep of snow? o.O; *
*Snapping back into herself Carmen set her eyes back on the male before her.* "Ahh thats why. i havent been to the new den yet... ive been sleeping by myself mostly."

"Me neither." Tobias smiled, for the first time wondering where the new den was. He noticed Carmen was looking at the sky, and so he glanced upwards as well. The sky seemed menacing as the dark clouds loomed ahead. A shiver ran through his spine. He didn't like the look of it. But it would probably be a simple snowstorm. Nothing to worry about.
"I don't like the sky tonight." He said, frowning, and still at unease.

A cold shivver went down her spine as she thought deeper about it. Not really wanting to think about it she turned her gaze once again to the male wolf.* "Should we go hunting?"

The male wolf had been sitting out there alone since Lera left. Catching the scent of Carmen and Tobias, he would dart to them and give a small yawn. "Oi, you two. What are you doing flirting out here in the dark?" Smirking almost evily, he would wink at Carmen. "Good catch, sister." Dodging slightly, he would know that there might be a playful attack coming.
"You two need to get a den or something." Rolling his eyes, he would yawn and sigh. Carmen was going to kill him. he knew that already.

Gizmo opened his maw to answer when suddenly the little minty pup jumped up. Had he smelt something dangerous? At his words he relaxed a little, wondering who he planned to go and get. That pup certainly was a mystery.
With a small huff, Gizmo shifted slightly to lay where Kamali had been and let his eyes trail to the sky, seeking comfort in the stars. The fur along his neck bristled in fear and annoyance as his eyes caught onto nothing but clouds. Every now and then a star would peek out from beneath the harsh blanket but other than that the sky was dark.
He shivered a little, wondering how long Kamali was going to be, he hadn't been in this area before and as the dark consumed him, the trees began to play their strange tunes as the wind picked up.
The pup lowered himself further to the ground, ears flattening against his skull. A snap of a branch from the trees sent his head flying up, ears drawn forwards to listen. K-Kam-Kam? He whispered, hackles rising in fear.

He whispered, hackles rising in fear. Gradually the sky had become night, and as each colour turned a different shade, Jade would sprint that little bit faster. The sky was her timer, and she had to prove victorious over nature. Racing to reach the pack, she stumbled accross a companionless Gizmo. As he seemed rather alarmed, Jade did not want to frighten Gizmo, approaching slowly as not to startle him, she called out. Gizmo. It's me, Jade!
Once she had his attention she thankfully trotted over, delighted to no longer travel alone in the wicked darkness of the night. What are you doing here all by yourself? I was on my way to the pack to tell you all about my grand-father.

A familiar voice rang out, carried to him by the wind and calming him almost instantaneously. He whirled round to see Jade and gave a sigh of relief, bounding over to her and pouncing on her in sheer joy of not being alone anymore.
He nipped playfully at her ears before canting his head to listen. I wait for Kam-Kam. Gizmo answered, tail wagging slowly, Your Grandfather?
He frowned a little and shook his fur to rid it of snow that the small scuffle had caused. He come to pack too? Gizmo yawned and sat down, raising a hand leg to scratch behind his ear, eyes closing in contentment as he waited for his answer, determined to ignore the whistling of the trees all around him.

Jade also shook her fur clean, tossing off the snow planted from Gizmo's pounce.
Jade looked at Gizmo with slight confusion in her eyes. Who is Kam-Kam? She had hoped another member of the pack she would soon greet and be-friend. Hurrying to tell Gizmo about her grand-father, she immediately ignored Gizmo's reasoning for being alone and began to explain. Pops can't come to the pack because of his age. BUT, He is over-joyed that I am a member. He said my parents would be so proud of me! And I showed him the human item we found at the camp-site. He said it is a 'Dream-catcher'. A loud rumble from the sky distracted her momentarily. It is meant to give me good dreams! I placed it on a rock above where I sleep. Jade beamed with pride over her special item and grand-father's blessing.

Gizmo was too overjoyed to say anything at first, his tail wagging even faster as she spoke. He was so glad that Jade was able to stay, even pack-life got lonely sometimes and he knew he had found a true friend in this mossy coloured wolf.
A dreamcatcher? He tilted his head thoughtfully before nodding his muzzle and raising his head to the clouds, parting his jaws and howling his joy, wanting everyone to know how happy he was.
Then with an action that surprised even himself he reared up on his hind legs and pounced onto the female, bowling them both over in the cold blanket of snow. Jade stay, Jade be friend! He yipped.
