The Orochi student turned slightly towards the older Uchiha when he made his comment about wind. He silently agreed with the teenager about wind’s invisibility and began to ponder on that subject. Increase the range of the attack? Well it was possible it could be done. Shisei was contemplating some wind type ninjutsu so maybe applying their effects to the fan could work. Yet how could it be done? Saying what you were planning and actually putting it into application were two different things. Wind was all around, but it did not seem easy to control. He could not send the element through the fan like lightning, if possible. He may have to manipulate the wind around the object. It would take a lot of control. Then again the Shisei may need to contemplate applying attacks to massive strengths instead of just thinking small and only applying it to the weapon. With all the choices going through his head, Shisei did not even notice that Sukotto had left

Serena took into consideration what Shisei had said for a minute. "Magnetism?..." She liked the sound of that. It seemed like something that could possibly work. The girl knew enough information about magnetic forces and its relation to electrical currents well enough to put more thought into it. She absorbed herself into the subject quite quickly, as she was very amused with the idea. It wasn't until Sukotto had left that Serena answered Shisei's question..with honesty. "Well..as for training, I haven't done much training at all with my element. It has only been recently that I have finally become good enough to start learning how to properly use it... It took a lot of self control, she knew, or else death would become a possibility.

Shisei listened to Serena’s answer. With that in mind the boy began to contemplate what could be used to train her lightning element. It was a fast and powerful element. One needed quick thinking and speedy reflexes to manipulate this element well. At least in the young Orochi's mind. Chakra control was the obvious method, but one could always take it a step further. It would have been good if the sky let a thunderstorm loose through the blue sky. The girl could train in trying to control lightning from a storm. Wait no… that sounds like training for a professional in the art of lightning. If she didn’t know how to control it well as yet then something small may be needed first. As the serpent youth thrust his tessen like a rapier going into an opponent. Well if it was electrical field she needed metal as a starting point. “Do you have any shuriken or kunai on you? Those are metal. You can practice getting those items to be magnetized to your staff.” the Orochi youth advised. His brain was slightly curious as to see what this would look like. Also it would be interesting if the girl could pull it off. This would give a hint to how difficult the controlling of the lightning element was as well as her own strength.

Shisei reflected on different exercises that could be useful and maximize the use of such a special chakra. After a few more minutes he went back on to training with the Fenghuang. He still considered the use of the wind augmenting the reach and attack of the tessen. One of the positives of wind was that it was all around. As Kanami had stated in the past it is ‘the breath of life in everything’. It should be possible to augment the reach and range of the jutsu to more than just one slash. With enough control the snake student should be able to create multiple attacks at once at a long distance. Actually this would be pivotal. Fenghuang was not a sword. Its maximum potential could only be reached when opened, but attacking an opponent directly once it was open was a negative option. The wind would slow it down as well as leave Shisei open to assaults. Yet a multitude of attacks caused by air would be pivotal. Something that would be able to attack and defend. The serpent youth continued to ponder this use.

Serena felt around in her holder for some kind of ranged weapon, unsure of how exactly she was going to do this. "Well...yeah, I do. I've got some of both weapons." She pulled out one shuriken and kunai and held up her staff in interest. In order for any type of magnetism to be pulled off using the staff and the metal weapons, they would need opposite polarities...which is where the lightning might come in to help. But yet, it would also be a tough situation in summoning up some lightning, too. The weather wasn't right..but if she could use her chakra to gather enough particles of the opposite charge from lightning...
It was getting confusing. The Raiken knew that from where her clan had first originated, there were tons of lightning storms. But here, it is all varied. There was a way where you could create electricity..basically lightning..through chakra, but she didn't know how... "Question is how exactly am I supposed to do that, Shisei?"

This would have been one of the times where Shisei would be glad to give a very complicated answer just to show that he was the intelligent and superior one between the two. Unfortunately he was not sure himself. “How am I supposed to know?… it’s your chakra.” the snake child thought, but kept his lips silent. Well he could always try and bullshit an answer. Maybe that would actually come to an answer. The amber eyes stared at the girl, giving her look up and down trying to think of a solution. He could just give an exercise that he would believe would benefit his element. Their affinities were different. That and the scaly kid was not even in full understanding of his chakra nature. This would probably be a time where the blasted know it all Uchiha should have been around. Well the dread hair can try. “Maybe… try and release your chakra into an electrical charge through your staff. Or maybe see if you can control and mold your chakra into electricity first. Once you can do that you can probably figure out the charge you will need to gain magnetize your weapons.” the Orochi wanderer stated.
His vision went back to the tessen. His palm opened the instrument so its gold inner could be seen. Shisei swiped with it three times. One hand exchanged with the other and Shisei repeated the same move again. He was trying to get a feel to how many seconds took for him to make a full swing with the weapon. Too slow for him to challenge any opponent in close combat with the fan open. The wind built resistance that made it slower. To fight in a hand to hand situation, Shisei would need to keep it closed. As his mind had been thinking; if he used Fenghuang with its wing spread then he better be using a jutsu. Although who said the attack needed to be directly from Fenghuang. Wind was everywhere. So theoretically an attack can come from anywhere. This was where Shisei’s new idea was leading him.

"Hmm...that's not a bad idea...I'll see if I can try that in a minute. Molding my chakra into electricity..." Serena twirled her staff and thought about it more before switching mindsets to Shisei's weapon. She really didn't want to use up her chakra without some guidance on how she was to convert chakra into electricity. This was all something completely new to her. The Raiken wondered what Shisei was going to do with his weapon. He had already helped her, but she hadn't given him a single idea. That wasn't very nice, now, was it? "So what are you planning on doing with yours? It looks like the tessen will work really well with your element." The weapon looks a bit heavy, though, which would be somewhat of a disadvantage when it came to combat. It seems like a lot of control would be needed to use it, too....

Judging by the sun in the sky, it seemed as though it hadn't taken the Uchiha too long to complete his errand. He approached the area where Shisei and Serena were seemingly still discussing their ideas about making their weapons stronger, and allowed a sigh of relief to escape his lips, as he was thankful that the pair hadn't taken to destroying each other in his absence. The chuunin was holding a newly crafted short bow that had the Uchiha symbol engraved onto the front and center part of the bow. He found a suitable location to place the new weapon on a rock that would be out of the way of the team's training. Afterwards, he approached his two squad mates and addressed the two of them. "So have the two of you come up with anything to make your weapons more powerful?" Having said this, Sukotto decided that it would be a good time to begin his chakra training, as he had completed his errand in a speedy enough fashion. The chuunin decided to heavily concentrate the chakra in specific areas around his body, which would work to give him a better understanding of his network, and also improve its strength. The training would involve the spending of chakra, so it woulc potentially wear on the chuunin, but he figured that this would definitely be worth it. After deciding the training for himself, Sukotto figured that Serena had finished her thinking exercise, due to the fact that she was eying Shisei's fan a little more than her staff. "Serena, if you've finished, how about you practice some stances with your staff? You'd be surprised how much you can say or not say to an opponent by altering your stance just a little. And Shisei, have you considered combining and amplifying your jutsu with your weapon? I think that a fan would be quite capable of doing that for wind-based jutsu."

As Shisei swung his tessen around he listened to his associate’s question. “Hmm not sure…” the boy’s tongue began. Part of him was unsure of whether to tell her anything or not. Even if she was his teammate for now, that did not necessarily mean they would be in the future. A long time ago she had called the boy a rival. Didn’t that mean they would need to eventually face one another? “It will probably come to that one day…” Shisei contemplated. At the same time, he did not have anything concrete to work assimilate with his tessen. All his thoughts were just different hypothesis. Those probably couldn’t hurt to tell her. “I can probably use my tessen for..!” his speech was cut off by an irking pain in his wrist. This caused the serpent youth to drop Fenghuang immediately. His left hand began to rub his right wrist. The amber suns stared down at the giant fan and then at his wrist. It seemed his still needed more time to adapt to such a curious looking weapon.
As the youth went to pick up his weapon, the leader of the rag tagged team finally returned. A bow now in hand. “Is that his…” the Orochi began to contemplate. Maybe so.. When the boy questioned his thinking Shisei only replied tersely. “I have ideas…” for now he was more concerned with wrist and use of the weapon. For something that would become pivotal to some of his jutsu the Orochi born needed to practice with his tessen more.

Senritsu was satisfied with how the dog had made herself at home back at the Estate and had already started to make her way back to the cliffs where her team had been left. Hopefully nothing good happened while she was away. She’d taken her sweet time on her way back, but having seen how the sun was near the center of the sky she kicked her gear into third and started to run her way back. Silken black hair seemed to fly behind her head as dirt was barely touched beneath her light weighted feet. Making sure to keep breathing through her nose so she didn’t get too out of breath, she burst out from the trees to see Sukotto, Serena and Shisei still in their places. “Heh, sorry…took a bit longer than I thought it would.” Not really looking at any of the people around she placed her old, brown, patched-up bag down on the ground and catch the last of what the snake boy was saying. So they were working with weapons…the one thing those two had over her. The Uchiha female had to keep herself from pouting as her eyes turned to the only other Uchiha in the area. By the time she’d arrived he seemed to be doing something with his chakra. It seemed that boy would never take a minute to relax.

"Ai...are you okay?" Serena panicked for a moment as the serpent had suddenly released his weapon in reaction to something with his wrist. He didn't seem to be injured at all, though, so it must have just been some kind of pain. While this was going on, the Raiken noticed that both of the Uchihas had come back, completing the squad once again.
"Welcome back, you two." The girl said as she immediately took to her assigned training. This would be interesting, for she really only knew a few stances with the staff. And this type of practice would actually allow her to explore more into it--maybe some showy stances, or deceiving ones. In a way, this would be hard, yet fun. Serena wondered if it would be possible to make some kind of simple staff move look intricate and intimidating at the same time...now would probably be a good time to play around with this stuff.
It seemed like her conversation with Shisei would have to continue sometime later. And she didn't even get to know what ideas the boy might have had in combining his tessen with other things. He would probably be more creative than her, though, and have a ton of ideas ready to being training with.

The male Uchiha nodded after Serena greeted himself and Senritsu. "Thank you, it's good to be back. How about you show me a confident stance with your staff? I want to be convinced that you know what you're doing with it, even if you still feel as though you're a novice with the weapon." With that said, Sukotto noticed that Senritsu had returned from whatever task had consumed her time. Before speaking to her, he walked over to the place that he had set her newly crafted bow and retrieved it. "Welcome back, Senritsu. No worries about taking a little time for yourself, I hope that you were able to settle whatever business you had set out to do." After greeting the female shinobi, Sukotto lifted the bow to a level where she could clearly see it, and especially the engraved Uchiha symbol on the front and center of the weapon. "I know that you've taken a little bit of an interest in bows over the years and I apologize if I'm mistaken about this, but I figured that you'd like to have a weapon of your own, so I've made this bow for you." Sukotto extended his arm towards the girl, offering the weapon and a warm smile on his face. "How about you take a few minutes to stretch it out and think up ways to train yourself with it? You don't have to use it if you don't want to, but it would be good to try out something new for a change; keeps your mind and body active and ready to learn."

After attempting to set Senritsu and Serena down their respective paths. The Uchiha formed the Ram seal and begin to concentrate on his chakra surge training. He began with concentrating the chakra into his feet. A shinobi's feet had many uses for chakra, and it was very helpful to understand how to use chakra in this area of the body. The most basic use for chakra in one's feet was increasing the speed of a shinobi and allowing one to stick their feet to a variety of surfaces. One of the first things a genin was taught was how to stick their feet to a tree, allowing them to climb the bark without the use of their hands. This low level technique eventually required a low amount of chakra, and most shinobi did it without even thinking about it very much. This technique was flashy and impressive, but it also served many important functions. For instance, a shinobi would be able to use the tree climbing technique to escape from a band of thieves or animals, and climb much faster this way. In addition to an increased rate of climbing, the tree walking technique also allowed a shinobi's hands to be free, which meant that they could launch weapons at a target or form seals with their hands without losing their hold on the tree.

A slightly more advanced example of chakra use in one's feet was the water walking technique. This required a greater degree of control and chakra spending than the tree walking technique did, since it involved walking on a surface that wasn't solid. This meant that the shinobi had to not only stick their feet to the surface, but also focus their chakra in a way that provided a connection that kept them above the water instead of sinking into the depths. Like the tree walking technique, the spending of chakra involved with this technique eventually became so insignificant to a shinobi, it was something that was easily and safely forgotten. After using the technique for an extended period of time, ninjas would eventually learn to activate the technique automatically, which meant that they could walk from the ground directly onto the water without having to think deeply about chakra control. The technique became as natural as walking itself, and this greatly benefited shinobi, especially when they were placed into situations when they were thrown into water. Instead of falling through the liquid, they could choose to land on it, and effectively vault off of it as soon as their body struck the surface, providing a chance for a successful and speedy counterattack.

The Orochi continued to rub his wrist for a minute’s half. He would need to be careful and have more practice with Fenghuang. He had a similar pain after his injury to the rose chain but in the shoulders instead. The last thing the serpent youth wanted to do was increase the risk of his shoulders being dislocated again. Yet it would have to be a risk. The lust for more jutsu and being the best far surpassed the possibility of mortal injury. After all if he did get mortally injured and crippled for life just from a small amount of training, he deserved death then. His face only made quick eye contact with Serena before returning to his risk. He didn’t feel the need to answer her, although the Raiken’s concern was surprising to him. When the girl in the scantily clad uniform returned, the serpent youth only batted his orbs towards her for a second. She was missing? Shisei had not even realized that the girl had left. Although now that he thought about it, the older Uchiha’s disappearance may have been because of her. Their conversing also enlightened why Sukotto had come back with a bow. As the bow had the teen’s clan insignia, Shisei could surmise that the two were clan members. “Figures…” the kid began to think. His brain was getting a feeling of déjà vu. A bad feeling of déjà vu.
