"Mike!" Flint yelled, seeing Mike plummet to the ground and get impaled. He had nothing to worry about. Flint chuckled as he came up, healing himself. "Crafty son of a b***h." he said, grinning. He nodded at Ashe's comment, turning to face the dragons. "I don't know their weak points, but I have a feeling a floating brick wall would be enough to freak them out for long enough to find them." he said. Without explaining, he began to cast the spell. Within minutes, a good ten-foot by ten-foot area of air had been compressed into something tangible. Anyone walking, or flying, into it, would feel so much resistance they would stop dead. To add to it, Flint gave it the illusion of a brick wall, floating in front of them. Added bonus: the air would stop any incoming projectiles, but not many, and not for long.

Mike turned to Ashe after she spoke. "You are the lucky one...I didn't have to kill them." Mike was afraid of that fact. It was true, if he had to he would have killed them. He could sense all the answers ahead, and nothing would stop him. He spent too much time perched ontop of a church after he was summoned, he couldn't afford to waste any time anymore.
But he couldn't kill another being. He couldn't even kill something without feeling some sort of remorse. He was a demon, but he couldn't make anything or anyone suffer. He was a sheep in wolf's clothing, but the sheep was a wolf in sheep's clothing. He was a very complex person. His soul was shrouded in darkness, but inside was a light brighter than the sun, and could never be extinguished.
The darkness that had been beneath them was gone. They were being watched. Instead there was a huge wave of demonic nature pouring towards them. Mike knew this battle was going to be difficult. Still, he'd make sure he'd reach his target. He'd make sure he'd kill whatever got in his way, and he'd make sure he killed his summoner. It was all he had left to do in life.

Ashe laughed at Flint's comment about the brick wall. "Our hardest weak point to protect our our wings, the skin of the wings and the base. We also have one at the base of our head, under our crown where head meets the neck, but it can only be reached when we arch back. Lastly, our eyes and between our claws." Turning to Mike she growled. "Don't have any qualms about killing these dragons. They lost their souls. They're the reason humans fear us as man eaters. They are a lawless bunch that take pleasure in the destruction of others."

"I'll incapacitate them. If I'm facing death I'll have no choice but to kill, but I'd rather disable them and make them flee. I dont like killing." Mike smiled. He may have been a demon, but he hated killing. He had a soul, that was for sure.
As Mike looked on in the distance he saw some dark clouds over the mountains. Suddenly, giant black beasts flew out, the cloud hanging on to their wings for a moment before disapatting. A dozen, two dozen, there was a swarm of them. The dark dragons had arrived. He looked at them, and there was a quick flash of memory from the Inferno. These dragons weren't mortal. Ashe was right, they had no souls, because they were demons. Demonic dragons, given the wings of The Fallen One. No mercy, no restraint. They were horrid killing machines. And these machines needed a summoner of huge strength and ability.
"Ashe, no matter what, dont take on more than one at a time. And when you hear the roar that shakes the skies, leave me to fight alone." Mike glanced at Ashe, the look on his face showing trust, determination, and fear. He was worried about what was going to happen. For all he knew, he could destroy the two friends he had left. By his own hands no less.

Ashe eyed Mike. "I'd rather you not fight alone..." She looked over at the Dragons and sighed. She looked up at Flint and said, "If you feel tired tell me. We'll drop back for Mike."

Mike stared forward as the dragons stopped flying towards him. He studied them for a moment, taking point of all the weaknesses Ashe had mentioned. The maw on the dragons looked like they were smiling an evil grin. The one closest to them rose it's head and roared. As if to join in, the rest did the same. Suddenly all their heads snapped back and then forward, each firing a decently sized fireball at the adventurers. Mike knew that these fireballs were powerful flames from the inferno mixed with a moderate amount of darkness. Mike's flames were superior in every way. Mike rose both of his hands and created a huge amount of flames up and down his arms. As he threw them forward they sped towards the dragon's flames. Upon contact the fireballs were engulfed and absorbed. Mike called his flame back as the leader's fireball came closer to him. Mike slowly lifted his clawed hand, his fingers limp. Right as the flames were about to engulf him he shot his fingers open and stopped the fireball effortlessly. He could control their flames with moderate concentration.
"I...am..." Mike said slowly as he drew the flames around himself. With a quick snap of his wings the flames vaporized as he screamed "NERO ANGELO!!!" He let the heat from the flames hold him in the air for a moment, and as he started to decend, he snapped his wings down and flew straight towards the roaring horde. These dragons could tear him to shreds and send him back to the Inferno. But he was sure this group could defeat his summoner, and as long as he died he could be at peace, even in Hell.

((Whatever happened to Flint??? O well))
Ashe hung back, watching the fight. She knew that Mike could take care of himself, but she didn't want him to fight alone. She felt an updraft near her and smiled. She sent her magic into the updraft and created a tornado with it and sent it to the dark dragons, forcing them into two groups. "I'll take care of this half," she said, flying towards one of the groups.
She flew up above the group and created blades of wind to cover her wings. "Hold on, Flint!" she cried, folding her wings and dropping into the group. Once she was on top of them she opened her wings and was able to cut the heads off of the two closest dark dragons. "Woooooo Hoooooo!"

((No idea.))
As Mike charged a dragon he became away of how it fought. Their flames were their main weapon at range, but as soon as he got close it reared back and snapped at him. It was easy to dodge until three surrounded him. One snapped down on his left hand, the armor being strong enough to stand up to it's teeth. However Mike was now stuck with two fire breathing behemoths thirsting for his blood just a few feet away. Mike had only one option. In a quick charge of power, Mike sent a huge amount of DarkFire into the dragons mouth. It's lungs filled as did the rest of it's organs. In the mean while, it's whole insides were being burned to a crisp. Right as the other dragons were about to snap down on him the one that had his arms exploded in a mass of blood and flames, the remains incinerating as they floated to the ground. The resulting blast had sent Mike flying.
As he regained control my flew towards one of the two that had cornered him. Suddenly he was swatted from the air like a fly. One had snuck up from above and slammed into him. Before Mike could get a sense of which way up was, he had several fireballs slam into him. The flames burned as bad as those in the Inferno, but Mike was use to that pain. That was when a larger dragon flew down from the sky. It had gold and crimson plated armor on it's head, back, and underside. It's claws were like that of Nero Angelo's left hand, sharp, gold, and straight from Hell itself. The dragon came down light a black bolt of lightning, and with a quick swing of it's fist, send Mike straight into the ground.
The impact knocked down several trees. There was a large, crater in the earth, as well as a huge imprint of a demonic body. The pulse in Mike's veins, the beat of his heart was deathly slow. There was a little light in his chest, a small orb that was starting to glow. It's color turned blood red, and as Mike's eyes opened, jet black. Flames appeared from the imprint, surrounding Mike's body. The transformation was happening again.
The dragons grouped around their leader. The ones of higher rank and power were closer to their master than the others. Their roars caused lightning to sizzle through the skies. Suddenly there was a quick flash of darkness from the crater that took off towards the sky. As it rose like a black arrow, two wings sprouted from the side. They were familiar looking, but not the same as the ones the group had known. The arrow stopped and turned into an orb of flames, hovering slowly as a slight growling sound began to echo from it. In a quick flash the flames dispersed to the skies and Mike roared a cry that caused the clouds to turn blood red, swirling above him. He was no longer Mike, no longer Nero Angelo.
He had become the Harbinger of Darkness.
His only intent was to destroy anything alive, any living being around. A dragon sent a fireball towards him out of sheer fear. Mike flew straight through it and what looked to be right past the dragon. It turned around and went to roar when it's head split into five different sections. Mike left hand was dripping with dragon blood, and his face had the smile of pure pleasure. He was a threat to all life now, anything that was his friend, companion, lover or family was now a target.
Including Ashe and Flint. ((Feel free to leave the battle. I'll just post some epic dragon fights. I'll need like, two or three posts worth though, so you two can always yell at Shiango and fill in some backstory.))

Ashe had finished off four more dragons from her group when she felt a change in the wind. She turned and watched as Mike transformed, eyes wide open. Something about the wind around him scared her. The changing of the clouds didn't help.
"s**t. Flint, we're getting out of here." She folded her wings and dropped to the ground. Just before they hit the ground she stopped and landed lightly. Letting Flint off she took an Elven form and picked up the pack. "This way. There's a cave we can use to get to the heart of the mountains. We should be safe there." She headed off towards the cave.
~
Shiango laughed. He did it. He got Nero Angelo to embrace his true demonic powers. "I was right to chose you, Harbinger. With you by my side I can rule this pitiful little land." He changed the focus to where the Dragon and Gnome where running to hide. "Hm...I think I'll have some fun with them while my dragons work with the Harbinger." He walked from the cyrstal to the portal and walked through.
Coming out of the other side he stood infront of the Dragon and the Gnome. "Hello, my old friends."

As Mike tore half of a dragon's wing off he noticed one flying away, a sick grin coming to his face. Chasing was a delicious thrill when it could end with bloodshed. Mike let the dragon fall to the ground and took off at full speed towards the other dragon, his arms extended and ready to shred through scales, his mouth opening for a roar. Suddenly, another dragon smashed Mike to the ground. The remaining dragons all fired their fireballs at him, all of them smashing though the dust that had been kicked into the air from Mike's impact.
The flames scorched the earth, setting non-flammable materials on fire. The leader roared, and one of the dragons swooped down to feast on the remains. It's jaws opened over a shadowy remain, and before they could close two armored claws gripped it's jaws. Mike was standing there, holding the dragon's mouth open. The dragon roared, but Mike's roar cut straight through it, and with one quick motion, he snapped the dragon's jaw past it's limit, breaking it. The dragon veered back and roared a high pitch roar of anguish and pain. Mike took the opening to dig his claws into it's throat, and proceeded to rip his arms up along it's throat and rip off it's lower jaw, the dragon slumping to the ground dead while Mike smiled at all the blood that had coated him. Three dragons swooped down at him, and as Mike flared his wings, their decent slowed. They were finally afraid of him.

((Sorry for the long wait. Writer's block and the start of school.))
Ashe started when Shiango stepped in front of her. "Old friends? So your here to taunt us this time?" She unsheathed her swords and stood ready. "I'm not taking chances with you."
~
Shiango laughed as the Dragon drew out her swords. "Your guess is right. I'm not here to fight, I'll leave you two to the Harbinger. But for now, all I wish to do is talk to you."
((You can have all the action. I'll just find something for Shiango to annoy the other's with))

((Oh no, you joined this before me, and you're as skilled as I am. I'll take over Shiango at the end. I got a coooool ending planned...that is if you want me to wrap it up.))
Mike darted upward and swung his right hand past a dragon's neck. Blood erupted from several major arteries as it crashed through the forest releasing an anguished cry.
"I gotta get control, I cant...cant let him...win..." Mike thought as he struggled to maintain a little control. It was useless, the Harbinger was taking over. A dragon opened it's mouth and snapped it shut right ontop of him. In a quick second he was inside the dark beast's stomach. That was no problem though. The beast triumphantly flew up towards it's master, releasing a roar of victory when it suddenly felt a clawing pain inside. The few remaining dragons flew farther away and watched as their comrade clawed into it's own torso. It roared in a horrifed panic, and as it threw it's arms out, Mike burst through it's stomach, roaring at the same pitch as the dragon, his wings and arms in the same pose, doused in blood.
He flew at the commander, but was caught right away. The leader grabbed him with both hands and went to bite him in half. A quick snap of a wing ripped open it's nose, causing the dragon to let go as it reared back in pain. One of the others flew at Mike, but he seized it and swung it around before tossing it downard into the last dragon. All that was left was the main one.
The unquenchable bloodthirst drove Mike to dash forward and instantly tear off the chestplate of the leader. It swung at him with a bladed tail, but Mike's own tail sliced off the blade. The dragon looked at Mike in horror and smacked him away. Mike glared at it from a distance, and the dragon bowed it's head, pledging servitude to it's new master. Mike smiled as his warped blade exploded into flames from his hand. The dragon looked up just in time to realize that the next beat from it's heart would cause it's head to fall off of it's severed body.
Mike roared triumphantly over all the blooded corpses that lay on the ground. He was still the most powerful being around. Then he sensed another strong demonic aura. He had to destroy it to prove he was the best, it was the reason he lived. Mike took off towards a cave in the mountains. There were several that he saw from this height. One had to lead to the demonic source. He'd absorb it's power and become an even greater being, one that could tear open the planet's core.

((...I was waiting for you to finish off with the dragons before doing anything with Shiango. But, seeing the quild announcement makes me want to finish this one considering the breaks we take between posts...))
Shisngo heard the dying roars of the dragons and smiled. "The Harbringer finished off my dragons, and now he comes this way." He walked closer and grabbed Ashe's face in a hand. "And what, little dragon, do you plan to do? I won't let you leave, not while the Harbringer is so close. I want you to watch as I completely destroy your friend, your people, your world."
He studied her, she really was beautiful. And powerful too. Stronger, he knew, than her family gave her credit for. "I should make you my bride," he said softly into her ear.
~
Ashe stood stock still when Shiango touched her. Her mind racing with what he said to her. But the last statement, whispered in her ear, snapped her out of her shock. She raised a hand, started to shift it into her claw, and slashed Shiango's shoulder, causing him to let her go and grab his bleeding shoulder.
"You sick, twisted man. What makes you think I'll bow down by just threats? I'll fight till I see you dead."

((Sorry about that, crazy month. Psychotic even. DONT let him kill, only one thing to do: attack the harbinger. Two huge forces on one, three if you count the soul inside.))
The Harbinger scoured up and down the room, end to end, trying to find the source of the ebbing darkness. He could feel the deep vibes of evil crawling along his spine, but that was his own evil. His sin was immense now, the Harbinger having control longer than ever before. He searched nervously, clawing at the wall. He wanted to be bathed in the blood of the evil being and take in it’s dark energy. He couldn’t find it though, no matter where he looked in the room. Finally, he stopped dead, his wings extended in the air. His hearing abilities skyrocketed as he focused on any sound. There were several mice about twenty yards away in a small hole, trying to get away from the evil that filled the mountainside. Then he picked up on a voice beneath him and smiled widely. This was the source. The Harbinger raised his hands as they glowed black with flames of purest evil. With one quick motion, he blasted a hole in the antechamber below. His growl began to grow louder and he dove into the small tunnel he had made, his wings wrapped around his torso, but his arms fully extended. He was off by a few feet, landing on the ground several feet away from Shiango
Through the dust from the destroyed ceiling, the Harbinger stayed crouched. He saw Shiango, but also his two former ‘friends’. To him, they were nothing but practice targets. He looked at the girl first. He never killed women, he drained them. To a pure demon, virgin blood was a precious thing. And this one still smelled fresh.
"No! Stop it!" Mike was still inside, fighting to regain control. "You can't do that! You cant kill her! I won't let you!!!" And thus, the beginning of the end began.

Ashe and Shiango both jumped out of the way as the Harbinger landed near them.
Shiango pulled out a sword, ready to fight. He was going to rush the Harbinger, but noticed that his attention was Ashe. 'Hm...This should be fun,' he thought with a smirk. He stepped back and let his sword had loosely in his hand, his other touched the shoulder that Ashe slashed. It had already started to heal.
Ashe shivered at the evil energy radiating around the Harbinger. She took her half-dragon form, knowing that once the opportunity presented itself, she'll grab Flint and get the hell out of that passage. Once in open air not much is faster than a Wind Dragon. She saw that the Harbinger was looking at her. 's**t, this is going to be hard...' she thought as she pulled out her swords. "Mike..."
