What was more painful than the infection was the very biting irony that by putting my hands in water to prevent contamination, I rob my hands of moisture in the long-term and contaminate them. xp

So, it's not a win-win situation.
It's a win-lose, I guess, LOL

I AM POISONED!
Okay, maybe I'm better now, but the point still stands. Just don't ask how I inhaled a sufficient quantity of chlorine gas to make me [almost] critically ill.
So yeah, that's kinda freaked me out about chemicals, gases and breathing. I now have a phobia of chemicals, which is bad because my Chemistry practicals are coming up soon...
...and I have injections to come.

Dude, I feel so bad for you. I saw you mwntioned the chlorine gas on your status, but I thought it was a joke! gonk
I have had similar chemical fears but have never actually had that happen to me.
I really hope things will get better soon.

Oh I'm better now. I just have some boosts but I can't stand the idea of having injections. NOTHING enters my body medically, except for pills. Surgery would be... difficult for me.
And my newfound chemical fear has led me to hate anti-perspirant. I now use deodorant with the windows open, and a fan, and a mask[/scarf] over my mouth, nose and eyes.
So an awkward look from my parents.

What can I say? I'm really, really honest.
Once we had to grade our own tests in school. I gave myslef a 79, but when the teacher went back and checked they gave me a 94. eek

That happened to me in reverse. Lol. Na, I marked myself a 100 but got 99 (the paper was on Judaism and I forgot to put my name down, losing me a mark)

I fear tht possibilty and thus scrupulously deduct 15 points for wording my answer differently than the teacher did.
