As she took the Pokedex from Robert, she began to look at the map. But when the Thunder started to come down, Kalina immediately handed it back. "Joybringer, use Roost!" she commanded. As the Togekiss landed again, the Thunder broke through Protect and struck Joybringer and Kalina, causing the latter to scream in agony. Eventually, the pain caused her to pass out, falling off Joybringer and hitting the ground.

Robert landed hard onto the ground, but he still had enough strength to battle. He knew Palkia had only one weakness, the same weakness that all dragons had: it's own typing, Dragon. Pulling out his pokeball, he released his Tyranitar. "Genesis, give Palkia a Dragon-Danced Outrage!" Robert commanded. Spinning around to gather power gave Genesis some protection agianst the weather. When he was done dancing, he unleashed his powerful boosted outrage upon Palkia.

Palkia reared back from both attacks, and retaliated with a Brick break.

"Pft! I hate sandstorms. Bronzong! Rain Dance!"Jupiter ordered, the Bell Pokemon spun around and Rain began to fall again.

"Wait, I KOed that!"Volkner said.

"I used a revive, duh."Jupiter said.

"Palkia! Back and Hydro Pump!"Jupiter commanded. Palkia jumped back, and launched a hydro pump towards Genesis.

Blakki's left eye became green again.

"Hi there."Blue's voice said to Aeris.

"Blue?! Is that you?"Aeris asked.

"Yup, now watch me fight."Blue said, running forward to Robert."SITREP."Blue said to Robert as Blakki.

Robert recalled Genesis. As he did so, he would launch his next volley. "Now my dears. Show me that beautiful fusion of fire and water!" Robert called out. This was a move that a scarce few could pull off, one he learned from his defeat agianst May at the Grand Festival in Hoenn. Robert's Milotic fired off a controlled Hydro Pump while his Ninetales used her most powerful move, Overheat, to offset the power loss from the rain, balancing the two attacks out. They weaved together, the attacks spiraling and forming a new type of attack, one more powerful than a regular hydro pump or overheat. This attack was quite large in size and aimed at Palkia. Calling out his Nidoqueen and using a revive on Genesis, he began to ready his next wave of attacks.

"Lilly, use Protect!" Robert said, having his injured Gardevoirjump in front of Robert's two pokemon to protect them. He gave a nod to Blue before looking at his Ninetales and Milotic. "Alright, let's try something fresh. Smokescreen! Altered Ice Formation!" Robert called out. Ninetales threw out a heavy blanket of black smoke while Milotic launched an ice beam, not at Palkia, but directly at Palkia's trainer. Meanwhile, he had Nidoqueen use dig to burrow out an escape route while cloaked in the viel of the black smoke.

Cole stood back watching the battle, none of his pokemon had moves that would be very effective against Palkia, but then an idea came to him It doesn't have to do damage to be effective! Cole thought releasing Shuckle. "Shuckle! Use Toxic!" Cole commanded, Shuckle nodded and launched purple poison at Palkia.

"Palkia, you have to stop!" Kalina begged as the tidal wave began. "Don't you recognise me? It's me, Kalina!"

{Kalina, it's no use} FaunaSpike sighed, preparing to charge up an Energy Ball attack. {Palkia's been taken by a Master Ball. He's not going to break free. Lunaris, Solaris, get ready for the Double Protect.} As the two Pokemon unleashed their Protect attacks together to protect Kalina and the others, FaunaSpike fired the Energy Ball into the oncoming Surf and leapt behind the Protect barrier, using Ingrain to firmly cement herself into the ground.
