"Can't you use EMP to disable it and not have to remove it?" he asked. "EMP disables any and all electrical devices." he added.

"Well, yeah but I don't really want to have it in there at all." Cassie said. "Why don't we disable it like he said and then we can worry about removing it." the doctor suggested. Cassie nodded. "ok."

Julius looked at the doctor and asked him "What are her chances of survival should you decide to take it out?"

The doctor scratched his head. "Hard to say." he felt the bump on her neck again. "It is quite close to the artery and if we make a nick in it then she could lose alot of blood and possibly die. If you want a percentage then I'd probably say- 60% of sucess." Cassie wasn't sure what to think. she looked at Julius to hear what he thought.

Cassie sighed. she rubbed her neck lightly again. "Theres no way that it can be reactivated if we use that EMP thingy right?" she asked.

Cassie considered it for a minute. *I doubt he would've bought anything that hi-tech just to keep track of me.* she thought. she let out a sigh. "Alright, I guess that I'll leave it in and just disable it." she decided. The doctor nodded. "Ok," he started tapping away on his keyboard.

Cassie forced a weak smile. "Were you that worried?" she asked him softly. the doctor ignored them, seeming to be drawn in by his computer screen.

Cassie looked away. she was confused. *How is it that he says something like that and appears so happy most of the time but he wishes for revenge so violently?* she worried. The doctor looed up and she banished the thought from her mind. "Our EMP is already scheduled and won't be open until tomorrow." he explained. Cassie looked at Julius. "Is it ok if we stay here a little longer?" she asked, knowing how anxious he was to get to Japan.

Cassie felt a little bit guilty but she agreed to come back the next day. the doctor saw them out and walked over to the nurse. When they got outside Cassie linked her arm with Julius's and swung it bck and forth. "We should find someplace to stay tonight." she suggested.
