Reaper hesitated a moment, then nodded and slipped into a shadow under him, disappearing. He let his shadow speed throughout the garden, and split off so that it could venture throughout the castle as well.
The garden was surprisingly simple at first. There was one single path that led straight towards a small Greek style building. Another path led straight towards a small pond with a fountain directly in the center of it. Then came the complicated layout. The majority of the garden was plant life that led paths around in what could be mistaken for a labyrinth. Any dead end led to some type of statue, unique plant, box, bench, or other 'outdoor' item.
The garden was one large circle, with the castle walls encircling it. From what he could 'see' of the castle, the garden was dead center of the entire complex. There were two levels of the castle, and an uncountable number of rooms. Every now and then, he came across extremely large rooms that were open. He honestly couldn't find the exit to the castle. He did however...come across some bloody marks and splatters across some of the halls and rooms. A finger or toe scattered here and there. He was about to assume that everything he came across was the Goddesses since the blood signature was similar to hers. Once he found what must have been the 'throne' room, he discovered a decapitated head lying in the middle of the floor.
Well...that answered who the bits and pieces belonged to...and only piqued more questions.
The shadows in the garden, more specifically the ones near the small building, finally got close enough to locate the Goddess. She was inside, and there was some kind of magic blocking him from going in to investigate further.
A shadow near Azazel grew and Reaper emerged from it.

A cat-like, female voice spoke over any and all X-Coms:
"Any available X-Men, this is Kesshou. There are Sentinel type beings attacking Gotham City. Please help."
Then Remy's voice came back over the coms
"Hey Chere! I'm stuck in Metropolis. I'll have to catch the next one alright?"

Azazel nodded at Reaper. "Mind if I take a look?" he asked politely as he extended a hand.

"I'll just be a second," Azazel said, "and this is more reliable than trying to figure it out from what you say out loud."
He touched Reaper's forehead and began cleanly extracting data, making sure not to hurt his now-ally. When that was done, he nodded and stepped back. "Well, I have to say that the body and your inability to get close worry me. Since it appears that we have no other choice, however, I think we should just go for it. Thoughts?"

Reaper thought for a moment. "If there's nothing else that can be done, we might as well." he replied. He couldn't find anything in the castle other than the corpse...he couldn't get into the small building in the garden where the woman was...so...he couldn't really do anything else anyway.

Once they had agreed, Azazel started walking towards the little building. He wasn't too thrilled that they were likely walking into either a trap or a fight, but there wasn't much else they could do. They had to find the Goddess, after all, and it appeared that she was there.

Reaper walked through the garden carefully behind Azazel, deciding to let him lead through. The building was a bit farther than he thought it would be, but shadow travel made everything seem rather close. Once they did arrive at the small building, Reaper stopped at the base of the stone steps. He stared at and around the building for a moment.
Architecturally, the building seemed rather open. Almost reminiscent of a Greek temple in an odd way. But past the thick outer walls, even with the open doorways, there was no way to get in. The doorways were pitch black, and there was magic of some kind keeping the entrance blocked from the inside. The woman was inside though. He could feel that she was inside.

Azazel strode brazenly to a door and knocked on the wall of magic that was keeping them out. "Well?" he asked expectantly. "How do we get in? I can try to teleport inside, but no promise that it'll work."

 Alcina was still in the middle of her little task when a knock from outside nearly made her jump out of her skin. Automatically, she whirled around to stare at the entrance. The magic she had surrounding the building kept anything from entering or exiting save for herself. It also kept anyone from being able to see in or out. No one else should be in her realm other than herself, and there were only a few beings that would even know about her realm. Strange more than likely could, but he was...likely not the one outside. X would have no reason to come here. Exo might though. But...he should still be somewhere around Earth. She'd know immediately if it were Xiao or Exo. So...who was it? Momentarily, she glanced back down at the box in front of her. She...didn't want to walk away from her current task though. She could walk away, the spell would still be able to search for the ring Deadpool was carrying on it's own. And when it found it, the spell would stay open until she returned to give further instructions. But that's the part that worried her. Anyone with an extreme amount of power could easily use her own spell and use it to enter the room with the box. She only wanted to locate where exactly everyone was at and close the box. She didn't want to leave anything open. And definitely not step away from her box. After a beat of hesitation, she glanced back over at the entrance. In the same breath, she didn't want to simply take the shield down to let whoever it was in. One, she didn't know who was out there. Two, if she brought the shield down then the chance of something really bad happening went up quite a bit. If anything happened, she could trap whatever she wanted within the building. Well...she could with her full powers. Something she was lacking at the moment. Taking another quick look down at the box, she sighed and quickly walked away from it and towards the door. It was still searching, so it should be alright for her to step away for less than a minute. If it did find something before she got back...well, best not to let that happen, given how powerful whoever was responsible for all of this seemed to be. Reaching the entrance, she thinned the magic surrounding the door just enough to be able to see and communicate with whoever was on the other side. She didn't let it disappear, however. Once she could see, she blinked. She didn't recognize the being, at all. The man standing behind him, she did recognize as Reaper. "Yes?" she asked, looking between both men.

"Hiya!" Azazel said happily. "I assume you're the one we're looking for? Edelweiss sent us to make sure you were okay. And you're acquainted with Reaper here, yes?"
He made a show of looking over her shoulder into the room, even though he couldn't really see anything. "Everything going okay in there? We couldn't help but notice the, uhh, bodies out here."

The moment Azazel mentioned 'bodies', the woman flinched as though she had just been stung by something. She immediately slid her gaze onto the ground to avoid any kind of eye contact, and her features took a rather uncomfortable and solemn turn.
She stared at the ground for a few silent moments, completely forgetting about wanting to keep an eye on the open box.
"Everything is...fine." she finally replied, not letting her eyes move from the ground. Her tone sounded about as somber as the look on her face. "That happened...quite a while ago. I just haven't been able to...clean it up."

Azazel glanced at Reaper. The emotion was pretty easy to read in this situation.
"I see. Well, is everything else going all right? The others appeared to be quite worried about your presence, and you've been gone longer than expected. Is there any way we can help?"

Alcina sobered a bit and glanced back into the room at the small table. "I, uh, I came to retrieve somethng that should help locate one of the missing. I thought I'd just bring it back to the sanctum, but....I wasn't able to move it. I didn't want to wait for my powers to be high enough to be able to move it, so I began the process here." she replied, then stepped out of the doorway to allow them to enter as well. "I'm just waiting for it to find who I needed. Then I'd be able to locate where they are at. It's just...rather dangerous given how powerful the being who captured everyone seems to be." she continued, walking back over to the small box.

Azazel nodded politely and entered the chamber. His first thought was that he could probably catch the two of them unawares, knocking them out and taking the item for himself. Such a powerful item, as well as a useful bargaining chip, would definitely be in his advantage.
However...he had given his assistance, and he had his honor. He couldn't take the item; it would go against who he was. He would keep his half of the bargain and see what played out.
"So what can we do?"
