Shiki ran for another few minutes with Sandra in his arms before he couldn't run anymore. He let her down on her feet and bent over panting. His eyes were shut as he rested his vision.

"This place...It's filled with death...A lot of...A lot of blood is here..." Shiki said. Even though the battle that was waged there had long ceased and no more blood stained the ground, he knew there was a lot of blood there...at some point recently. He was still bend over and his eyes remained closed, but his other senses were on high alert and nearly threatened to drive him mad.

Shiki felt his head throbbing from the massive headache he was dealing with. This place was so similar to where the Nanaya clan came from...His more murderous mind was trying to make him kill Sandra.
He slowly got himself to stand up straight, "We need to keep moving," He said at last. His face was now tilted closer to the sky, so he could not see as much death.

While Shiki was fine taking Sandra's hand, the moment she touched his he felt something like an electric current running through his body. His eyes slammed shut as he was pulled along by Sandra.
Kill her...It's what you were born to do...KILL HER!!! His blood screamed at him.
He flinched and continued with Sandra, making sure his knife was in his pocket and not in his hand.

KILL!!! His body demanded.
Before Shiki knew what he was doing, he had his knife in his free hand and he moved to stab Sandra in a point on her back.
Shiki managed to stop himself inches away from the point, "...No..." He said through grit teeth. His hand trembled and he was slowly drawing the blade away from her.
Kill her now!! Before she finds out!!
Shiki lost his breath from the desire to slaughter Sandra.

Shiki forced himself to start breathing again. The moment she moved he was about to finish what he started. His eyes were wide from fear.
"...No..." Shiki said and made himself remain where he stood.
Kill her...
"...Stop..."
KILL IT NOW!!!
Shiki dropped the knife and fell to his knees, holding his head. What sounded like weak sobs came from his throat.

Kill it!!! The voice in Shiki head demanded.
"SHUT UP!!!" Shiki yelled to the impulse.
After a few moments he felt it dying down. His breath started to regulate a bit and his mind started functioning normally...Well, as normally as it could when he could still see death everywhere.
"...Sandra...I-I'm...I'm sorry..." Shiki said, not looking her way. His hands lowered to the ground to keep himself sitting, "...This is the impulse I get around people who are not human...It's not just you..." His face was tilted downwards in guilt.
