Kiara smiled. "Wonderful," she said. "May I be of assistance?" She moved to Vane's father's side and took his arm. She pulled it over her shoulder and took more weight off his feet.

"The pleasure is all mine," she responded. "Fury huh? You might get along eith my very tempermental uncle. Everybody calls him Touchy." She laughed and started walking. As they neared her home, she saw several of her puppy cousins and younger siblings playing. She called to her younger brother, Tenor. He came wuickly to her side. Go tell Mama I brought some new friends to join us for dinner, she told him. He barked once and bounded off. "Mama expects you now," she said. She laughed as her younger relations began plying her with questions.

Kiara swung her foot around and kicked Vane in his butt. "Relax," she said. "They don't bite." She turned and gave the puppies a look that said they had better not.

As they rounded a bend and saw the house, they saw about fifty people gathing around a long table. Kiara's mother, Omia, ran forward and kissed Kiara on her cheek. She then hugged Vane and his parents asking their names as Kiara father, Heyu, hugged her tightly and whispered, "I'm proud of you."

*Vane was shocked at her mothers action.He hasn't been around this many before and truth be told it scared him.Vane moved behind his father*
*Fury sighs then smiles at Omia*"I am Fury and this is my mate Draya.Thank you for having us."*He looked at vane* Don't worry son they aren't going to hurt you
*Vane just looked up at him then at the others.*

Onia moved back a step. "My apologies," she said. a"Kiara has never brought friends home and I was so excited to meet you. I did not mean to startle your son."
Heyu laughed and placed an arm around his mate's next. "It'd only because you're so scaring, my love," he teased. Omia turned and hit him on his shoulder.
Kiara sighed. "My family is crazy," she whispered to Vane with a smile.

*Fury smiles as he wraps his arm about his mate*"Vane is not used to being around others.This is the first time he has be welcomed by others of our kind.The rest don't trust him because of his Vampair blood ties."
*Draya*"I am just happy he is has a friend and I hope he gets more.He has been so lonely.The only time others want him around is to heal.He is a natural healer..."*She looks at vane as he moves from behind his father to stay near Kiara*"I think he feel safer next to your daughter.She has made him smile alot and even laugh."

Kiara snorts. "This isn't even close to the whole pack," she informed him. "This is just those that live with us. The rest will trickle in as it gets later. We are creatures of the night naturally." She grabbed Vane's hand. "Come on," she laughed. "Let's go have some fun!"
