Shae groaned. "Aww damn. OK. It won't matter what gun I take, so just give me whatever has the highest clip capacity. Assuming it has automatic fire." He pulled out a sleek PDA and began to tap it rapidly. After a moment, he nodded. "My men are already on their way out. They'll be waiting in the city when we get there. I've told them to stay out of it unless they get the call."

Hades nodded. "Then it's a P-90. Be careful with that thing. It's select fire, don't forget.
"Oh, right," he added, reaching under his desk and producing a group of tiny little earpieces. Fourteen of them precisely. Hades slid them towards Marcus. "Distribute them among your mercenaries, I want contact with them," Hades told him.

Shae nodded and slid them to himself. Counting them quickly, he pulled two out and put the others into his inner pocket, which was specially designed to be impact-resistant, waterproof, and radiation-blocking. Some people, huh? He flicked one of the headsets at Gabriel and clipped the other to his ear.

"Huh. So, any idea what we can expect from our opposition?" Cado asked.

"Agents," Hades replied. "Lots of agents. Many, many agents. Probably equipped rather well. Hard to say if they'll try to pick her off from a distance or rush or both. They'll have the equipment to do whatever they feel like. More importantly, you're defending the target specifically at a speech she's giving. In a football stadium. Old one, there could be hundreds of hiding places. I'm not happy about it, but she won't be dissuaded, and luckily the place will be packed. Thankfully you guys have mercenaries from Mr. Shae, so you'll have some sort of backup."

Cado's eyes gained a resemblance to saucers. "So she's giving a speech in a structure that has probably doubled its ways in through disrepair, probably has no defense against them cutting their way in from the side, and could have dozens of agents hiding small automatics and just spraying lead on the field?"

"Yup," smiled Hades. Well, at least it sounded like it, through the warbling tone. "On the bright side, the opposition candidate is going to be right behind her. It's a little ray of hope, they'll have to put some caution into it. Heaven only knows, they might bring big automatics, though. Chainguns if they have the modifications."

Shae groaned. "This is a bodyguard's worst nightmare. I hate missions like this." He pulled out the PDA and gave it some halfhearted taps. "We're up to fifteen men," he said with little hope.

"Are they at least trying to keep the opposition candidate alive?" Cado asked, not daring to be too hopeful.

"Oh yes," Hades told Cado. "If they weren't, what would be the point in throwing the election? It does everybody precisely no good.
"Those men will be useful. You should have them all patch in continuously, say something at least every five minutes. If someone goes silent, you deploy Team 015 to deal with the threat, and you guys get her off the stage.
"The other good news is that there will be policemen there, although only maybe ten or twenty, armed with handguns of course. They'll serve as watchdogs, though. Theoretically, we're helping them," Hades added thoughtfully.

“Sounds like fun. A lot of people are going to die.”
Ivan let out a howling laugh and then returned his focus to his nails. It seems he was sharpening them to a point but not noticeable enough to be detected. Ivan leaned his head down and his glasses began to slide down his face, his eyes were moving left and right, it was unsure what he was looking at but they seemed quite shifty in appearance. He tilted his head back up and adjusted his glasses back to the comfort of concealment.
“Anyone else have anything to say? I feel like the four of us are doing all the talking, while the rest are daydreaming worse than I am right now.”
(( This is all I'm posting for the rest of the night, I got stuffs to do soon and won't be home and when I am home, I'm not going to be on the computer. Night. ))

Hades let out a rattling sigh. "Yes, yes it is. I'd just like to say, please don't screw this one up, guys. If you do, it'll probably turn into a combat sweep mission very quickly, and I'd rather that didn't happen, as that'll reflect badly on public image."

"I hadn't thought of that," Hades said vaguely, and Cado felt thoughts pouring into his head. A football stadium, that was for sure. Massive amounts of seating, pathways under the benches. Beautiful place to hide, if anyone wanted to.
