But it is a wonderful example of how you humans gang up on new members of your society- perhaps it is why new races are not accepted into your culture! surprised

Not quite. This is really more of an example of how important humans consider first impressions. He did not leave a good first impression, therefore everyone reacted in a negative fashion.

Wait...
Is that why you all did not take well to us when we arrived...?

Yeah, the whole... capturing and enslaving our crew didn't go over so well, and a lot of us are not ready to forgive and forget.
Especially while you still have our crew incarcerated.

What the Hawk King said. *death glare*
And the few people here who know anything about morphs did not have any recollections of morphs that were anywhere near human.

...Now it makes sense.
However, do conquered nations not eventually learn to coexist with the invading nation?
...Ah, that was a poor question. Allow me to try again.
If a few diamonds were removed from a mine, would the entire mine collapse, or allow the rubies that took their place to support them?

That implies that we cannot get the diamonds back in their proper places and/or that we cannot support ourselves without these missing diamonds...

If a few diamonds were removed from a mine, would the entire mine collapse, or allow the rubies that took their place to support them? Laguz used to be the slaves of beorc. For centuries. No, I don't think we learned to coexist, not yet, and certainly not when every day more laguz fought to escape their owners. Consider also the case of Daein after Begnion's occupation.

What is a nation without leaders?
The rubies do not necessarily represent my own kind. If you were to throw us out, still another would take our place, if...
If the unfortunate were to occur.
Tibarn: But we are not enslaving. Not a single one of you is forced to work where they do not wish to.
A change of hands is all that has occurred. A succession of leadership.

And what was required about this change of leadership? Was there something about the previous Crew that made them inadequate?

Where have I stated that it was required?
It was Lady Madriana's will. Even if I tried, I could not change her mind.

Well perhaps it is our will to see our old leaders put back into place.
