Dragon Sneeze liz_bliz_inc Dragon Sneeze liz_bliz_inc After traveling for 20 minutes Tinker's voice come out Liz and Zack's car radio. "I've found Reaper, and because of that, Heatstroke as well. It seems they may work together. Once I triangulated I got a picture of the car's licence plate off a traffic light camera. Not their car, at least not this one. THey were in a different one earlier getting on to the highway, but I lose visual from there until they were back in view of a local cameras as no orbiting object had its eye on any area they were in at the time. I was able to find a gps tracker int he car and back tracked it to a dinner in town. You should still stay on track and find these two, but something to keep in mind. I have a trail on them and have confiscated a satellite to keep an eye on them, standard info output loops to keep whom ever is watching from realizing I have control of it. Still, I have to give up control every other 3 orbits to keep if believable so I rely on local and now the gps for a few dozen seconds." Tinker was silent for a moment and then finished, "You are less than 10 miles from them, follow the instructions for the fastest route, all your lights will be green. I'll stall them in any traffic related way I can, long red lights and such." Tara's voice came over the radio then, "I will look into the dinner and be out of the city quickly afterward, take your time with these two. We need as much info as they will give." "Right," Zack and Liz said together as they tore down the street. -------------------- -------------------- A few blocks away Tara hung up her phone and looked at the sign, "Curry huh? It's been awhile since i had any of that." It was still early morning, but she saw lights on upstairs and the sun had been up for a few hours. She walked in the door, causing a bell to ring. When she got the second door it was locked, so she gave a loud rapping on the door to try and get someone's attention. Chamberlain answered the door dressed in only a pair of pants and a loose shirt. "Yeah? I open in an hour, but I suppose I can make an exception for a nice looking girl like you." Tara gave a dry smile as she walked in, thinking how sometimes it was good to appear roughly 10 years younger than she was. "Thank you, I was passing through and wanted to get a good hot meal before I continued on my way." As she talked she spread her mind out into the building, taking note of all the things she could and could not affect and noticing that there was other living thing upstairs, which she kept her mental contact away from. "I'll have whatever it is you consider you spiciest curry recipe with some chicken and rice. I'm not to picky, surprise me." She moved off towards the hallway, where she knew the bathroom was.... "I'll cook something up for you post haste my lady." Chamberlain replied as he buttoned up his shirt and tied a scarf over his head. "What brings you into the area if I may ask?" He stepped into the kitchen and begun work. Tara gave another smile, this one a bit warmer as she walked toward the hallway, "A little bit of business, a little of personal affairs..." She trailed off after that and than a few minutes later she came came back into view with a framed picture in her hands and a genuinely distraught look on her face. She walk right into the kitchen and raised the picture a few feet from his face. The picture showed what Tara had assumed was a roughly 20 year younger Chamberlain next to a tall 20 year old with raven black hair who had his hand on the young Chamberlain's shoulder. "How do you know Kyle Gardner?" She said quickly after throwing the photo up. "Are you related?"

There was a sound of a powerful car engine approaching, slowing, stopping and turning off at the end of the alley where Ricky, Victor and Angela stood. After a few minutes the sound of footsteps could be heard and Zack and Liz appeared at the end of the alley, dressed in fairly form fitting leather outfits. Liz's had a jagged orange ring of fire on the back and twin swords of the same colored fire down her jacket's arms. Zack had ivy running the arms and legs of his suit and a willow tree on the back.
"Are you the two known as Heatstroke and Reaper?" Liz said as nonthreatening as she could

I still can't be sure about the how but this is deffinatley the woman. I can feel it, I've got to get back to Oz in Purgatory we need more equipment before we try and tackle the other tasks tonight."Don't touch it!!" She tried to back away and rolled over a box behind her. "Ow...." "Protective, you alright? Look kid I've got a hunch now, and if you know Batman he fanncies himself a detective much like myself and right now I know who you are. And I am no weakling like you said earlier. I'm gonna need you to come on with me and my partner Ms. Kettigan" He said a little more firmly with an outstreched hand. "Listen to guy, he knows what he's talking about." Ricky said from behind her. Angela looked up at him and back to Reaper. Then she sheepishly lifted the black eyepatch over her right eye socket revealing a spinning firey orb in place of her eye. She stared into his eyes and time seemed to slow to a crawl. Every beat of Reaper's heart could be heard thundering in his ears. It was like staring into the sun. She replaced the patch and nodded. "Ok, I'll go with you." "Yeah there's a good girl," He said unflenching in the face of her powers Holy s**t, that was nothing like when Batman found Batgirl"Ms. Kettigan if you please I would like for you to know that if you trust me that I can trust you and as a show of good faith I'm gonna let you know something He's Ricky Martain the singer!" He picked her up and they head down the alley and got into the shelby. "No he's not." Angela replied, "Ricky Martian is Latin." Ricky laughed. "Ha! Told you! And I wasn't in Menudo either." "Huh really I guess I hired you under false pretenses. Oh well, so I like naming people so I'm calling the big you Orphan and you'll be just plain O. He's Heatsroke his power is to lie about his ethnicity on applications. And I'm as you already know Reaper but and brase yourself kid I'm Three time Mr. Fahrenheit Victor Alan Elliot! You have no idea who I am do you...." Reaper hung his head and sighed " Listen I just want to know something what are your powers? I only ask because I don't want to over shoot you nor under estimate you. You know seeing as the city is in the s**t right now."

Zack put his hand on Liz's shoulder to tell her to not aggravate the situation as he said, "We're not here to fight. We're trying to figure out exactly what happened early. When have confirmation that you were there and wanted to ask you some questions."
Even as he said that Zack caused the asphalt in front and behind their car's wheels to spike up like the spike on a road trap so that if they tried to blow out of there they would shred their tires. Now that Tinker had a lock on the car's gps they could track them, but Zack didn't want a high speed chase if that's were this headed, pedestrians were the only ones who would probably be hurt by the collateral it caused.

I wonder what makes them interested in the fight.... hmmm What would Bruce do? "You should relax, I just want to know some names if that's not to much to ask for, I don't care what names you through out. I just like a bit of formality. I'd hate to be on bad terms with people who share the same intrests for my city. You do share my intrest don't you?" [[Oh yes that thing is there!]]

Tara thought about what Chamberlain said for a moment and then said, "What sort of artifacts exactly? What is it I don't know about Kyle? We were.....very close for a regrettably short time. I thought he had told me everything." Her mood seemed to visibly darken at the second to last sentence she spoke.

Even as he said that Zack caused the asphalt in front and behind their car's wheels to spike up like the spike on a road trap so that if they tried to blow out of there they would shred their tires. Now that Tinker had a lock on the car's gps they could track them, but Zack didn't want a high speed chase if that's were this headed, pedestrians were the only ones who would probably be hurt by the collateral it caused. [[by the way, is that mountain still floating upside down in the air?]] Reaper stepped out of the car and looked them both up and down he crossed his arms and thought for a moment I'm not sure if I've seen either of them before. I wonder what makes them interested in the fight.... hmmm What would Bruce do?
