Connor rather enjoyed the movie. He bursted into laughter at the Joker's antics, always gave a nod of adoration when the car came on screen, but didn't pay all too much attention to the part where Rachel died. His eyebrows furrowed worriedly as he gently rubbed Emma's shoulder with his hand in an attempt to comfort her. When the movie had ended, he nodded in appreciation. Not the best Batman movie I've seen - Val Kilmer ruled - but very nice! Turning toward Emma, an amused smile slithered upon his maw and he chuckled quietly. "I take it you liked the movie?"

At first Emma didn't hear Connor's words, but when they finally came through, she nodded her head like a maniac. "THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!" she mouthed/shouted. She jumped up from her seat and went around in circles, trying to get the hyperness out of her. What the heck am I doing? she thought as she stopped going around in circles and stared at the floor. She looked up at Connor and giggled before reaching her hand out to help him up.

Connor laughed amusedly, bringing his right hand to rest on his right cheek. Shaking his head with that same amusement, he smiled and took her hand. Using more of his own strength to get up, he just stood for a moment; frozen in place. Staring into her own eyes, he hadn't let go of her hand, keeping a gentle hold with his calloused hand. After a few moments though, he blinked rapidly, letting her hand go with a heavy blush. What just came over me?

As Emma helped pull Connor up, her heart skipped a beat. He's looking at me with so much passion, she thought as her face flamed up in a blush. His piercing gaze was so much that she had to avert her eyes, unable to keep looking for if she did, she feared that she would either die from blushing too much or just kiss him to death. Her last statement made her flare up even more though as she nervously looked down at her shoes, trying to hide her red cheeks. When Connor had let go of her hand though, she slightly frowned but covered it up with a smile. She looked back up at his face, surprised to find a red tint on his cheeks as well, but decided to brush it off. "So how about we go to the arcade then?" she mouthed as she handed him his crutches and walked out of the theater with him.

Connor nodded and took the crutches, smiling as he did with the blush slowly fading from his cheeks. "Sure." The slightest bit of worry was evident in his eyes though, as he could tell that her smile was a cover-up. It didn't quite reach her eyes as a genuine smile did. Shrugging, he walked out of the theatre with Emma. The warmth that had coursed through him when he had held her hand faintly pulsed in his chest, causing him to inwardly curse his injured leg. If I wasn't a cripple right now, I'd be able to actually hold her hand for more than a moment.

Emma quietly walked by Connor's side on the way to the arcade, still thinking about what had happened in the theater. As they approached the arcade, Emma quickly gave Connor a kiss on the cheek before rushing into the flashy, bright, and noisy arcade.

Having tucked the strange incident in the theatre in the back of his mind, Connor walked with a small smile worn. Upon being kissed on the cheek by Emma, he smiled widely, the smallest slit in the corner of his mouth revealing glistening teeth. After he chuckled softly, he followed her into the arcade, accustomed to the loud hustle and bustle of the place.

After getting change from teh change guy at the front desk, Emma ran around, trying to find a game that she would like. It was then when she found her addiction, her love, and her heaven. Dance Dance Revolution. Just like how the marquee at the movie theater had it's heavenly glow, this one had an identical glow. She slowly moved forwards, thinking that it was too good to be true. Sure she didn't know how to play it, but there was techno music, and dancing, and bright lights.... that was enough for her. Immediatly she inserted coins into the slot and pressed start. She watched the intro at the beginning where it stated how to play, and then chose a song that was appealing to her, Diving by 4 Strings.

Connor opted to watch in amusement, leaning against the railing for the other Dance Dance Revolution machine beside the other one. I used to play this with Nicole. Man, those days were fun. A flicker of nostalgia appeared in his temporarily misted over eyes, but vanished when he focused on Emma again. It was nice to see her having fun. And on top of that, the techno music and bright, flashing lights reminded him of the rave. [[Edited.]] Once again, a passion he'd not felt for a very long time returned to his gaze, and he fell into that passionate state of observation.

Emma finished the song, receiving an A as her grade, she jumped and cheered with her fists, not knowing that Connor was watching her from the railing. When she finally did notice she gave him a smile, but stopped when she saw that his passionate gaze had returned, causing butterflies to flutter about in her stomach. A blush overcame her face as she questioned with her lips, "What?"

Connor continued to smile warmly, the far corner of his mouth twitching at the sight of her blush. All the thoughts within his mind became muddled, washing away with the fierce tide of emotion that had overwhelmed him. His passionate state remained intact for the moment, and he responded with an even tone laced with intense emotion. "So talented." He paused, voice lowering to a soft whisper. "So beautiful."

Emma swooned at his comment and nearly lost her footing. "T-thank you," Emma qhispered as she looked down at her feet with a blush, not sure of what else to saw at the moment. She all of a sudden didn't feel like playing video games so she clambered off the platform to stand in front of Connor.

Connor chuckled softly, his laugh different somehow in this instance; Maybe it was the low, even, and smooth tone it held. The confidence that coursed through him was unfamiliar to him, as he was so often the quiet observer plagued by millions of thoughts and memories that raced throughout the labyrinth of his mind. It was extremely rare for him to be so open. And most of all; so mesmerized by something, or rather, someone. Seeing her stand in front of him, his gaze instinctively fell to her eyes. The warmth within his own, pale green eyes was distinct as an eyebrow rose curiously. [[Edited.]] An amused but honest voice escaped him. "No, thank you. For everything."

Emma furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she looked up at him. "What did I do?" she mouthed as she stared into his piercing eyes with her own.

Connor just stood silently for a few moments, shaking his head briefly. Locking eyes with her once again, he spoke in a grateful voice. "You made me live again." It was the truth. Knowing that the statement was probably an odd one, Connor went on in a soft tone. "Before I met you, life was well, lifeless. Everything was so dreary. So painful. But now, I'm happy." He laughed. "I'm actually happy. And it's thanks to you."
