Apparently I'm going to have to get Japanese characters installed on my computer. I found out that I'm kind-of semi-related to a native Japanese speaker, and she wants me to start emailing her so she can help me. blaugh

I don't read well in roumaji; words just don't click in my head unless I see them in at least kana for some reason. And I bet it will be the same way when I start Russian.
