Twila reached the shelter with her brothers and they quickly sat down safe.
I can't believe this... Just when I finally was going to find out this happens! But Mom & Dad have to come down here. Maybe they can just tell me... She shook her head knowing they wouldn't.
"Twila we're scared."
"Relax guys, we're safe now. It'll be over soon." Hopefully.

Twila saw Rick walk in with all the kids.
Skylar & River got a proud look on their faces, "We weren't crying like babies."
She sighed and said, "You guys are ten, they're like five. So don't be so full of yourselves."
They laughed before leaning back against the wall. Twila was trying to lighten the mood and calm herself down.

"Down you go," Rick proclaimed as he placed two of the children on the floor from his hands. "And off with you, choker." Rick made a gaging sounds as he lifted the one off his shoulders. "That's it for the young ones. Time to close the doors. It wont be long, really." He assured the children. He pushed the steel vault like door closed, sealing them in from the inside. "There, all safe now. No one can hurt you if your in here. This here is a steel vault rated to protect you from anything short of an atomic bomb!" He explained to the children.
"Twila, would you mind opening up the other room to the kids? It is a little cramped in here." He pointed to the door that lead to the main section of the safe room. "Then we need to do a head count." He looked at the teacher, who was carrying a clip board with the children's names on it.


Meanwhile, other safe rooms where also filling up and closing. Hin and a few of the more senior morphs stayed outside, as there was one safe room for them if they deemed it too dangerous. "Alright, this seems to be the real deal. We need to see if we can stop this attack, if there is one. What worries me most is the lack of an announcement. I'll check the radio room and contact Red. He's on the outside and probably knows what is going on more than we do. The rest of you stay in radio contact and check the building. No heroics. If you see danger, let us all know and we go to the shelter." With that, Hin started to walk towards the radio room to inform Red of the situation.

Outside the building, Red and his small team ride towards the school, kicking up dust from the road behind them. "No answer still! What is going on in there?" Red complained. "I don't like this. Something isn't right. Can't you get this thing to go any faster?" Red already knew the answer, but his third said it anyway.
"This is as fast as I can go safely without driving off the road." He growled in his wolf like manner. He was concentrating and didn't like Red's constant interruptions.

Twila nodded at Rick's request, "Okay." She got up and opened the door leading to another safe room, "Come on guys. Some of you go in here. You'll still be safe. Siblings stick together." She rounded the children into the room and then walked back to her spot. I wonder if everyone else is okay...

It's very crowded in here! Very annoying as well...
You think I can't see this huge group of morphs who are trying the get comfortable!?
Chance accidently lost her balance and fell onto someone.
"Watch it!!"
"Sorry!!"
She quickly disappeared into the crowd moving to another area.
Very very annoying...

"Really? OHH!! That's soooooo COOL!" Kayla gasped, giggling. Jake rolled his eyes, nodding. They were finally outside, but they were outback. The girl made no motion to looked around before she darted into the trees. Jake quickly followed.

"What about Chance?" Jake asked. "Or Ragdoll, or Seth?"

The girl shrugged, and sadly said, "If they aren't with you, there is no way that I can rescue them. Not now anyways. Come on. The van is this way." She whispered, stepping expertly through the trees.

"What do you mean...van?" Jake growled. She giggled.

"Don't worry. It's more like a traveling van. Not like an Eraser van at all. Oh. And Stripes, I want you to come with me, 'kay?" She asked. Jake nodded. For some reason, he trusted this strange girl.

An Eraser stepped up to the Frog Morph, "Either you behave Freddy, or I'll have to have a chat with your mother." The Eraser seemed to be acting like the frog morph's father or something.
"You'll have to pardon my son. He seems to think that he can get away with anything because I'm a patrol officer." He seemed to almost snort at the comment.

"I don't recognize you, what class are you with? Aren't any of your classmates here with you?" The Eraser asked. It wasn't unusual for classes to get separated in a drill, but she seemed completely new to him, so he didn't know where she was from.
