In an effort to stay out of the way during Amanda's visit Jasper had taken up residence in Alice's room. it was called Alice’s room even thought they shared it because Alice had used most of the room to store her wardrobe and collection of accessories.
He sat on the bed and listened to Amanda and Edward talk in the room next to them. Edward was being a little rude but only a little. And Amanda seemed overwhelmed.

Amanda chuckled she looked around. "May I?.." she wanted to look at his collection of music.It was enormus. And the view of the outside was wonderfull. It was almost like a dream.
Emmett luaghed and threw himself onto the couch to watch tv.

Edward smiled and gently set her down on her feet.
"Of course, but I must appologize for the lack of organization here. I hadn't realized that you would actually take me up on the offer to come meet my family, otherwise I would have cleaned up for you." Edward crossed the room in a few easy steps and settled down on the window sill, his arms crossed over his chest. The effects of her blood were starting to get to him, he opened the window just a crack.

Amanda chuckled. "its alright I don't mind..you put my collection to shame" she giggled lightly. She looked at the cd's.She smiled when she noticed a few similar ones.
She walked along the wall,searching his cd's in amazment. She haden't even heard of all of them.

"Well....I do have a few years over you." Edward commented, it was meant as a joke but he didn't laugh. Instead, he focused on a spot outside and stared at it until his equillibrium was at ease once more.
He sucked in a breath and exhaled it slowly. He felt much better after that.
"Why do you tantalize me so?" He asked, almost pleading.

Amanda chuckled lightly at his comment. She ahd taken his jacket off.She had been a little warm. She placed it on the couch and continued to look.
When he spoke again she looked over at him innocently. "what do you mean?.." she asked quietly

Edward shook himself out of his self pitying. He glanced over at her and smiled lightly.
"Don't worry love, it's nothing important. Come, maybe you should meet the rest of the family." Edward got up and closed the window, locked it, then turned back to Amanda.
"They are....well.....I don't threaten them with races, let's just leave it at that." Edward rolled his eyes and laughed.

Amanda chuckled lightly. She understood. He was amazingly beautifle. She understood what bella meant about not being able to compare...She smiled though.

Alice sat in a chair in the corner of her room. She was hearing all of their conversation, relatively bored. "We going to say hello or not?" she asked Jasper, almost lazily. She then got up and sat next to him "You know, nothing is going to happen, I can tell." she grinned, poking her own head and grinning.

Jasper looked at her and gave a false smile. "You can, I think I want to hid out during her visit or at least until things are a little more calm. " he patted her back pushing her gently off the bed towards the door.

Alice sighed, walking out the door. "Okay, I'll go see her. I'll be back soon." She then walked to Edward's room and opened the door. She thought Jasper doesn't want to talk to her or see her, because, well, you know. She then sighed, and sat next to Emmet on the couch. "Behave youself." she growled at him, smiling.

Emmett luaghed and messed her hair up. "I always do..though Edward knows how to pick em" he teased knowing he'd hear that. He leaned back on the couch and watched the game. He luaghed "GO GATORS!"

Edward nodded at Alice and sighed deeply.
"Jasper, Jasper.....it's alright though. He'll come around sometime after he gets his bloodlust under control. You know, it's really hard. You smell so....GOOD." He smiled and took Amanda by the hand and led her to Carlisle's office.
Before he entered, Edward quietly knocked on the door. He listened for a sound from inside of the office and he heard Carlisle say that it was okay to enter. When he got the approval from Carlisle, he pushed the door open and led Amanda into the dimly lit room.
"Amanda, this is Carlisle." Edward whispered.
Edward caught what Emmett had said from downstairs and smiled brightly.
"You have no idea....." He whispered, to human ears it wouldn't have been audible but Emmett would probably hear it.
.:Err....ahaha does someone want to take Carlisle's role? Or should I? Either one is fine XDDD:.

Alice swatted his hand and smirked. "Go Cowboys!" she always loved to go for the oposing team, even though she didn't like football all that much.
((Gators are football right? rolleyes ))

Amanda nodded. She smiled politley at Carslile. She was still fairly close to Edward and the pink was fading from her most recent blush [uh..could u play him..since you can read his mind and all lol]]
