Your Honor, I had to pull significant strings to get this witness to testify. He is the very definition of the hostile witness, but his testimony is extremely relevant to this entire case. I request permission for a more leeway in terms of my questioning style. Back on Bismoll, we had ways of coercing some testimony from his type.
