Minato seemed good with evasion. Hibiki's attacks were missing the spots they were aimed, only lightly coming near him. This wouldn't do. As his opponent went off balance, he seized the moment. Stabbing forwards towards his gut while his arm swung around sideways to catch the side of his head, Hibiki hoped it would be fast enough. His feet stayed planted, his stance raised off his heels onto toes so he could lean back if necessary.

((Mass apologies. I was on vacation. I thought there would be internet, guess I was wrong))

Sweat beads dripped down Hyro's square-jawed face. The sun was about 45 degrees into the western end of the sky and a slight breeze blew softly rustling the occaisonal leaf or tree branch.

Hyronai's legs pumped in a rhythmic pattern, his calf muscles slacked and flexed and slacked and flexed, bulging and receading. The hair on his legs layed flat, slicked with persperation.

Every now and again Hyro would close his eyes to recite a line from a favorite song or a poem that popped into his head. He even talked to himself, whispering below the whistle of the breeze to remind himself of important dates amoung other things.

His body was running like a well kept and oiled machine. His energy level was still high and his body was still able to take more punishment. His pace stayed leveled, Hyro's new task was to complete the course with a sprint finish back to his starting point, a task which had never been heard of yet all the same it was in the front of his mind poking in to remind him and set him back on track.

Kidou walked into the training grounds. As he walked in he stopped, and stretched a little, slight pops and cracks could be heard coming from his body.
Because the dummies will in no way help me with my swordplay, Kidou thought walking towards the practice dummies, I think I'll use them to practice my kido's. As he reached his intended practice spot he lifted his right hand and pointed his left finger towards his intended target. "Hado number 1, Thrust." His index finger flashed and the dummy Kidou had targeted flew backwards, crashing into a wall. He then brought his middle finger to his index finger. "Hado number 4, White Lightning." A concentrated shot of lightning flew from his two fingers and blew a hole into the dummy before it could fall to the ground.

Yuki almost tripped when she heard how cocky this guy was. She did however bust up laughing at how full of himself he was. It was true, most of her squad didn't train until their brains fell out, but they knew enough to kick the snot out of this chump. For a second she debated about pretending to be a normal member and kick the holy jezus out of him for saying such a thing about his squad-mates.

"If your so cocky then why don't you challenge one of them for their seat? Whats the worst that can happen? you get your a** handed to you?"

She demanded, sounding slightly offended that a new recruit thought himself better than his squad mates, who obviously had more experience than he.

Hyro laughed at her stark comment. Fighting was good and helped one reach their full potential but on the other hand fighting a team mate wasn't something he really thought much about.

"Having trouble keeping up?" He was mocking her trying to see how far he could push the womans buttons before she flipped s**t. "Maybe, mayber sometime I'll wipe the floor with one of my squad mates but for now I like things how they are. No use stirring up trouble amoungst the ranks...yet!"

Then, with a slick smile Hyronai increased his pace really trying to push his limits as well as the females.

Bad move.... Worst move... This kid obviously didn't know Yuki for her famous temper. Fefnir once said something to set her off like this before, and she carved him right down the middle like she had been gutting a pig.... This poor kid didn't even have the advantage of being a VC. Just to prove how much faster she was than he, she shunpoed ahead a few feet, virtually dissapearing and reappearing several feet away, directly in front of him, her arms crossed, and looking pissed off.

"What's a-matter? 'Having trouble keeping up?'"

She said, mocking him with an almost perfect imitation of his voice. She shunpoed again, this time a few steps in front of him and to the side, she kicked out at his ankles to make him fall flat on his face. She glared at him.

"How dare you take my squad for so little.... Get out.... If your not going to take your squad mates, or me seriously... I don't want you here... If you stay, and continue to show such disrespect... I'll kill you myself. "

She spat out at him like the words where pure venom, and walked away. Yuki stopped beside Kidou, a student she knew barely because she had at least read his application.

He was practicing his sward technique with all the determination as if he was fighting an actual person. A smile crossed her face, knowing that this was what she wanted her squad to be made of, not cocky bastards like the other kid. With a smirk she pulled out her zanpacto and walked up behind Kidou as he finished his exercise, and made to place the tip on his shoulder, thinking he would be so wound up in his training he wouldn't notice her.
