The crease that fell over Alaura’s brow was one she felt she had worn since she had taken up this expedition. Since she had left her own kingdom, the safety of trees and mountains all but a distant memory, she had never thought she would find herself whirling about in such a mess. She had intended to protect her neighbours of the Knorth Kingdom, since the king of her own country had seemed reluctant, yet she felt she was doing so much more. It wasn’t enough simply to move about and protect, she knew the only way to win this was to stop evil at its source. However, as Vivian progressed in her tail she couldn’t help but feel the true weight of what she had taken on.

When at last the woman had finished Alaura couldn’t stop the sigh that escaped her lips. Whatever those healing waters had been doing for her they seemed incapable of doing any longer. Opening her emerald eyes and focusing them on Vivian, Alaura simple shook her head. It was indeed a few more moments before she even parted her lips to speak, but when she did it was in such a gentle tone that it would likely startle the young woman opposite her. Alaura wasn’t exactly known for a gentle touch in any manner of her being.

“Though I will admit this is troubling news indeed it is not for the reasons you presume.” She looked up, the crease on her brow breaking as her gaze became softer, more kind. “Adel would have turned his eyes to this group whether you were in it or not, so I do hope you will not blame yourself. We are not to be taken lightly and undoubtedly your father is a smart enough man to understand that. I do wish you had told me sooner, and yet...” She paused a moment, looking off into the distance as she lifted a dripping hand to her chin. “I can’t help but think that if you had I might not have trusted you. Had I known who you were before I knew you personally, I may not have cared what happened to you.” Her words seemed cold and harsh, yet there was nothing but truth from this woman.

Alaura didn’t waste her time worrying about being nice or trying to refrain from hurting another’s feelings. It was true that if she had known the girl’s title before knowing her personality she might have been as likely to slay her as any of the fire soldiers she had killed in the attack. However, knowing this information now gave her a sort of advantage. She knew what to expect, whereas before she might have been blindsided by any attack mounted to get the girl. Looking back to Vivian she couldn’t help but offer a somewhat coy smile, stretching over her weakened expression in a rather odd manner.

“I’m sorry Vivian but I won’t allow you to give yourself up. If death is your wish you’ll have to forgive me for not understanding.” She waved the lifted hand as if to dismiss this girl’s notion. Alaura would not allow the girl to fall into her enemy’s hands to be put to such tortures just because she believed in what was right. “I will admit that I think you might have done a greater good by staying there and taking the throne, but there would also have been the dire task of trying to maintain a facade of cruelty.” Alaura stared directly into Vivian’s eyes, knowing that though the girl was from the Dark Kingdom she didn’t seem capable of even the act of such a vile manner. No, she was indeed safer amongst this group, though her presence was not a burden to Alaura but rather a ray of hope. This girl was the heir to the throne, it seemed only right that Alaura place where she could do the most good.

“Relax, my dear, you are safe with us. I won’t presume to tell the others, I leave that decision to you, but know that you have my word. I will not let harm come to you.” Indeed the determination in her words, even in such a state, was hard to deny. Alaura was a true warrior, through and through. When she made an oath even the gods would be hard pressed to stop her. It was easy to see that she was from the Earth Kingdom with such a stubborn will, despite how her appearance made her seem. Leaning back once more she let out a relaxed sigh, motioning with that same hand for Vivian to do the same. No need to feel undue stress in such a place. Besides, what could possibly go wrong with such a group in one spot?

Ariya watched the girl settle her retainers. A bemused smile spread across her lips as she watched how the girl seemed talented enough indeed to settle her people of their endless fear. Ariya pushed aside the girl’s attempts, of course. She had not been born into royalty so she might be so weak as to let something like emotions fall over her. Indeed, calm was not something a woman of the fire nation should ever feel. Born with the element bred into her very genes it was only proper that those of her nation feel emotions that mimicked the fire they could control. Fire was unpredictable and dangers, yet it held in it the capability of a love so fierce it could shake the earth. Fire could create as well as destroy, for indeed lava was not but a liquid form of the flame and with it whole continents could be born. Few ever reached such a potential with the elemental mastery, of course, but still the base emotions were born into Ariya as if she were fire itself.

Staring at the woman with her gaze growing ever brighter she couldn’t help but feel she had at last discovered why she was drawn to her and why she had stayed. Without knowing it on a conscious level she must have sensed the girl’s abilities. Certainly it would be a skill she could use to her advantage, to lull those around her into a false sense of calm and security so she might better get what she wished. How could she move on and simply leave such a gift on the streets without a care? She couldn’t.

Stepping forward Ariya closed the gap between the two, coming uncomfortably close to the girl. Her tall, slim stature seemed suddenly daunting and frightening and her eyes blazed like orbs of fire as she stared down to the girl.
“I’m afraid I simply cannot leave you here, my dear. It would be very improper of me. Please, come with me.” She stepped slightly to the side, sweeping and arm back and offering the open carriage door where Viktor had disappeared inside. Haru and Freiya were curled on the seat that Ariya would take, awaiting their mistress’ return. However, she would not be returning alone. If the girl refused, though indeed the honey sweet tone the princess used was hard to deny, then Ariya would force the girl within. Certainly her strength outmatched the girl’s and it would be easy enough indeed to push her inside and lock her in. She could calm the others all she wished, Ariya would not bow to the girl’s powers for the fire within her very soul burned too hot.

Ryal smiled braodly, ignoring the nagging feeling that he looked a bit sheepish as he undressed. His smile faded somewhat, however, when asked of reasons for joining. He inhaled deeply, letting out a sigh that made his chest heave cosiderably before answering.
Oh, my... where to begin...
His eyes went a bit distant as he thought back over the last few weeks.
Well, Evan had just been re-drafted into the King's Army. The army that hadn't even existed since before I was old enough to know what an army really was. He was one of the last soldiers with real experiance, so he was appointed leader of a large company of soldiers.
Ryal scoffed at the term.
Soldiers, right. They were no nore than farmers with make-shift armor and swords the blacksmiths spent no more than an hour on... Even I had more experiance than any of these men. Needless to say, they were massecred. We met a small force of fire soldiers on their way to the Knorthian forest, the very same spot we just left.
Ryal stopped a moment, suddenly feeling the loss of all those men, who he had been partially responsible for. He was fortunate to get away so unharmed...
Evan is proof enough of that...
His eyes fell to the ground as he sat upon the ground next to the springs.
Evan ordered the retreat, but it was too late. There were only a handfull of men left. Those of us that survived made it to the forest, but Evan and I became separated from the rest of the group. It wasn't long before we were hopelessly lost. You'd think, being Knorthian myself, that I would at least know how to find my way out?
He smiled weakly and raised an eyebrow toward Damien. But his face went dark as he continued.
That's when... I-- I told him not to go on... something about the feeling of the place... And that old man! He must have been senile! He stormed through the trees and met us in the middle of a slightly open patch in the trees. His voice boomed like thunder, amplified by some eerie spell. He babbled all kinds of nonsense... accusing us of tresspassing, and "brining his doom" or some such... I don't know why. And-- no matter how much evan tried to calm him...
Ryal sighed, winceng as though he were reliving the confrontation.
He flew into a rage, disregarding anything Evan said. He didn't seem to notice me... He was focused on Evan. I.. I could feel the forest grow silent, as though the life had been drawn from that small section of it. It was so cold...
Ryal shuddered. This was almost more than he could take.
Then... How do I explain what I saw? It was like nothing I've ever witnessed. I noticed there was fog on the ground, fog that hadn't been there before. And it began to make it's way to the old man, as though it had a life of it's own! Soon, it began to swirl about his feet, then upwards, snaking up his grey robes untill it reached his arms, spiraling down them to his outstreatched hands. Then-- Shimmering lights appeared between his hands, swirling and churning about as if impatiently waiting to be let loose. Then, like thunder the eerie voice of the man bellowed that Evan would be a hedgehog! And all I could think was.. Is he MAD? How can this be? It was almost as if he were answering me... He brought his hands to his chest, the lights and smoke following, and then thrust them forward, letting loose the over-exited lights. They shot to Evan and began to spiral around him- faster and faster- until he seemed encased by it. All the while the smoke reached out to him from the old man's hands in long tendrils, soon swirling and writhing about him like some creature's grasping tentacles... but before it was over... the old man just--fainted!
Ryal fell silent for a moment. He looked over to where they had come from, catching a glimpse of Evan. Then his eyes went downcast.
The result of the man's sudden loss of consiousness... His dreadful spell was ended before it had time to finish. When the smoke cleared, I could see Evan's armor lying in a heap on the ground. I thought he was gone... magik'd away... or maybe he really was a hedgehog... now forced to live in the forest, nothing but a small rodent.
Ryal's face contorted in an odd look of pain mixed with a deep sadness.
But he wasn't. The hideous spell was broken off halfway, but it had already begun worming it's way through Evan's body. The end result, it's how he's... What you see today is what was done to him. After that, the forest caught fire, so we ran. For all we were worth. From the flames and the magic. W had no aim or direction, all we could think of was escaping. Even as we fled, we could hear tunder peals and see the forest flash different colors behind us. Such sounds... so loud, and some so sorrowful... like lost souls... What he must have had trapped in his home...
Ryal tried his best to hold back the tears... but no matter how hard he tried, something about the voices of those eternally mouning souls escaping the captivity of the ancient man.... Hot tears began to run down his cheek as he continued, bringing his story to an end.
The strangest thing of it was, as loud as the racket was, once we were out of sight of the spot were the man had fainted, the sound just--stoppedAs if... I don't know... we had passed through some doorway, and the teeth rattling sounds were somehow blocked form our ears. We didn't stop to investigate, though. To us it seemed a gift from heaven on high. We ran for hours, until we came to Alaura and her camp.
Ryal lifted his eyes from the ground, leveling them with the paladin's. Hs expression was one of pain, longing and, oddly, relief. It felt good to let loose his worries. to finally tell someone what had happened.

As he walked through the camp, he was astounded that no one tried to stop him. Were they so used to new people simply walking into camp that they treated them with more simple suspision than any outward hostility? Especially since his armor had the undeniable look of someone from the Dark kingdom, this groups enemy. It puzzled him, just a bit. He looked around, trying to find one of the people he had obsereved as having been closer to their leader. The majority of the people here were simple soldiers, and he was having a hard time picking out anyone specific. Then, he saw someone who had the look of a man from the Water kingdom. He began to walk up to Shane, but was stopped by a group of Earth soldiers who had decided that they didn't like his presence.

The small group's leader, a large, burly man crossed his arms over his chest. "What're you doin' here? Lookin' fer trouble, no doubt."

Ninton looked around, to find be was surrounded. "I did not cme here to fight you."

The man laughed. "Oh? Well, that's too bad, now in'nit?" Then, the blows began to come. Ninton allowed them to strike, as fighting these soldiers could wind up making it harder for him to earn anyone's trust.

He shortly found himself beinhg held by one soldier, as another prepared to punch him with all his might, probably in the face.

Ninton stared at him cooly. "I did not come here to fight you."

Grace easily moved forward, a little wary of the woman that stood next to her now, "I had a feeling you'd wish me to come with you. I believe that it was indeed your potential need that drew me from the Castle." she offered, climbing into the carriage to sit across from the two animals, one of which had fixated on her earlier.

It seemed that fates had aligned their meeting and when they'd nearly missed it the wolf had sprung forth to keep them from missing their destiny's call. She smiled at the animals, feeling no hostility from them... only idle amusement. The calm had settled outside and thus Grace felt safe, knowing her power over the people would keep anyone from doing anything stupid.

Vivian relaxed, feeling sadness somewhere in her mind at Alaura's denial of her wish to protect the people of this rebellion. "I wont stand idly by. If you would fight those who'd come for me, I wont let you do it alone. I wont let you lose anyone."

In truth, the Princess barely thought herself important to anyone... especially this group. She'd given up the throne of her father... when she was his only heir and she knew he'd seek her return. If he fought, tooth and nail, to reclaim her... she'd give up her fight so that Alaura could continue on. That was her resolve, and Hell would freeze over before she let these people enter a blood feud.

Raphael tied the yukata sharply and wrapped a band of sorts about his forehead to keep the steam of the spring from seeping into his eyes and blinding him. The men of the group had parted from the women and just moments ago he'd seen his quarry enter the women's bath. Alas, he couldn't make a move just yet since a bit before that the Rebellion's leader had gone in as well. It seemed unlikely that he'd catch her alone.

Nonetheless he took a stack of fluffy white towels and rapped lightly on the door to the lockers, "Towels." he said sharply, easing into the room to quickly deposit a new stack of towels and remove the old. His eyes snapped to the wispy curtain that led to the outdoor bath and he saw only two figures there, the demure form of the Princess standing before the woman who led the faction of rebels. "New Towels." he added quickly, not wanting to seem suspicious and the door clacked shut behind him.

Now, he could wait. His eyes narrowed and he moved to do the same for the mens' lockers. Repeating his words sharply before returning to the desk, the elderly couple there had welcomed his help and didn't think much of him... he'd easily deceived them into thinking him a partner to this group.

Soren watched as the other two left. He had wished to talk more to them about what they were doing in a place such as this. Looking at the two of them they were most obviously out of place and had to be there for a reason, much like himself. He had come to purge this town of the scum that inhabited it, and places like these were meeting grounds for all sorts.

Soren sipped on his water, as he pondered what the two had been doing, when he heard a roar from behind him. He turned to around to see the woman just turning around. "Surely she couldn't have produced a roar like that." He thought to himself, "I must be hearing things." As he went back to drinking his water his mind soon began to race about what could have cause the roar. It came from above so there is a large chance it might not even be related to the woman at all. No sooner had he started a second train of thought, he heard another roar from above. He chugged down the last of his water and chased after the two.

He moved toward them with a rather boosted walk. When he reached them he said in a quiet voice, "Excuse me for interrupting but, did you two just hear a...roar?"

Nicki turned about as she heard the voice, grinning when she noted with much delight that it was the man from the bar. So he had followed them, perfect. Now she could have her cake and eat it too, as the expression went. Taking a step forward her icy gaze looked directly into the man’s eyes before turning to the sky, pointing one slender finger upward. Above circled the giant beast, Fear, his leather wings flapping as all three heads craned about. At any given moment at least one of those heads seemed to be directed down to the woman, as if he were watching her like some gruesome guardian.

“Indeed I did hear a roar.” She said, turning her gaze earthward once more to look upon the man. “It is Fear simply letting those below know that he is still here. It’s a sort of deterrent, shall we say? To prevent those below from thinking to attack me.” Her cool tone seemed almost sweet, as if she were completely innocent of any crime, yet even so her bright eyes flashed with the danger that lurked within along with something that seemed like a challenge or invitation to attempt such an attack. She hadn’t even truly shown this world what she was capable of, but that was partially because she had not yet gained the power and energy she required.

She was biding her time, waiting like a venomous snake for the best time to strike. But, like a snake, when she did at last strike it would be swift and difficult to dodge. This world would soon know true pain and she intended to be at the center of it. She would create a hell on earth, a vast pit of despair that she could feed on. Like the shadow world she controlled it would be inescapable and savage, a brutal place to live. For now, however, she contented herself with the interactions of those with like minds to hers, though perhaps not as cruel. It amused her to speak with those like this man and Nicolai. Certainly to have them as her underlings would be advantageous.

Damien’s brow continually creased as Ryal spoke, the disturbance at such news shown outwardly as well as felt within. He had never been one to wear his heart on his sleeves, surely, but he had also never bothered to truly hide his emotions. Save for in the heat of battle Damien believed that in the company of companions it was best never to hide your true intentions. Such intentions were often mirrored by emotions and so it was that the Paladin often did not hide his emotions, at least not fully. Turning his oceanic gaze to Ryal once more he waited until the fellow Knorthian had finished before speaking in his turn.

“I am sorry, Ryal, that you have gone through such troubles. Undoubtedly the fire soldiers you met are those that attacked Alaura and her group before I got there. Indeed I came at the bitter end of it, though I will admit I think they met a fate you would be most pleased with. Justice indeed was served there and the forest had its revenge.” Damien looked away, then, feeling the true weight of what he had witnessed. He had been drawn and he could only imagine now that it had been the gods’ will that he witness such an event. He had seen Alaura, at least for a brief moment, in that frightening state that had left her so weakened and drained. She held within her the potential for such power and strength that it made the man shiver, yet he couldn’t help but admire it as well.

Alaura had commanded the beasts and the plants around her with such ferocity that the fire soldiers could to naught but bend to her will. She had given the forest the revenge it so deserved for the pain those men had caused it. Indeed she was a guardian of the element and creatures she had control over, a woman to truly fear and revere. At last bearing his gaze back to his companion he smiled softly, shaking his head slightly.

“It seemed I’ve done it again, fallen within my own thoughts to leave things silent.” The smile faded to a more serious look as Damien brought the deep, blue orbs to Ryal. “You have suffered much but I cannot help but think that in the end you have gained from it. While I admit it cannot be easy for Evan I can’t help but think that if anyone is to help it would be Alaura. He has become part beast, and indeed her command over them is great. Perhaps she can undo what that old man did.” There was hope in both his tone and his gaze and it was clear he believed his own words.

Thinking on the old man Damien noted that indeed he had heard rumours of such a one. He had heard that deep within the great forest at the borders of the Knorth Kingdom there lived a terrifying witch man. He had heard rumours that the man was not truly a man but a demon of sorts, though Damien also knew people had a way of twisting stories to make them more interesting. In this case he thought perhaps he was simply a very powerful man who might even have been a powerful Earth man at some point. Perhaps he had decided to renounce his kingdom and live as a hermit within the forest. The truth was he likely would never know for sure, but indeed he believed that whatever he had done Alaura might be able to undo, once she had regained her strength. Thinking of her the paladin couldn’t help but turn his gaze to where the woman’s spring was, though he could not see it. He silently wondered if the warm waters were helping the woman at all.

Ariya was indeed more surprised by the girl’s actions than she would have thought. Not only had the girl gone willingly but indeed in such a calm manner she couldn’t help but think it odd. Did she not realize that Ariya had no intention of ever returning her to her home? In any case the woman followed within, taking her seat between the strangely calm beasts, though indeed as soon as she had entered they returned to their usual state. Their heads rested on either leg, eyes occasionally drifting towards the girl that now sat beside a rather calm Viktor.

“So, my dear, since you will be traveling with us I should indeed know your name. And forgive my manners for not earlier introducing myself.” At last Ariya let her speech flow as she had been taught, making herself seem every bit the princess she truly was. Inclining her head softly as her teachers had instructed her to do she lifted it a moment later to smile in a rather strange manner at the girl. It was a somewhat coy smile, as if she were hiding something behind the sweet tones and disposition.

“I am Ariya Fenae Sung.” She said, listing her full name rather than just her first. The girl was already in the now rolling carriage and so the woman felt no need to hide her identity any longer. She didn’t bother to add her proper title, for indeed the name would likely be enough. Viktor noticeably tensed but, at a slight glance from Ariya to assure him she knew what she was doing, he relaxed once more. Unlike her other retainers Viktor wasn’t often frightened by his mistress. He knew that while she had a violent temper that she would also not strike unless you gave her reason to, or at least what she would consider reason. So long as he did as he was commanded Viktor knew she would not hurt him.

Alaura sighed softly. This girl was indeed as stubborn as she herself was. How could she possibly deny the girl when indeed she would have been the same? Grinning slightly she shrugged, looking to Vivian once more. “Well, I suppose nothing I say will sway you. Just know that I stand by my word. If anyone should come for you I indeed will protect you with every bit of strength I hold.” She was truly an honorable woman, or at least she tried to be. She had been taught in that ways of a warrior and believed she would live or die by her own sword, but the choice would ultimately be her own. When she made a promise she made sure that nothing would stand in the way of her keeping it. Her word was her life. If she could not uphold her word than what manner of being could she be considered but the lowest form of life?

Shaking such thoughts free of her already troubled mind she pushed herself through the waters, noting that mention of fresh towels. Smiling slightly and feeling that the water would do her no more good she slipped from it and plucked one of the towels, drying herself off she wrapped it about her body then turned to look at Vivian once more.

“Well, I don’t know about you but I’m starving. Would you like to join me?” She had smelled the food earlier and she couldn’t help but think how hungry she was. Being so weak and ill had churned her stomach, making it hard to eat, but the waters seemed to have at least pushed back the illness enough for her hunger to once more become evident. She needed to eat if she was to regain her strength, in any case, and so she slowly dressed while awaiting Vivian’s answer.

Evan walked into the hot springs area a bit after everyone else. He had been carrying three other men's packs for them, and was moving a bit slower than the rest. If he was to gain recognition within this group, he would have to prove himself. One way or another. He was not, however, under any circumstances going to undress and bath where anyone would be able to see him.
Not looking like this...
He looked down at his hands, covered in fur, and sighed. No, he would have to find a private place to wash. As he walked into the springs, he heard a couple of younger earth soldiers speaking in hushed tones. He shot a venomous glance at the two of them and they immediately became silent. His eyes narrowed slightly. It was obvious they had been talking about him. Once again, he ignored the taunting. He shut his eyes tight, clenched his teeth, and walked by, trying to brush aside the incoherant chatter that seemed to follow him around. But after a few steps, he suddenly heard an outburst of talking. Evan stopped dead, eyes wide with frustration.
That's it! How could Such behavior be allowed in times such as these!?
Evan dropped the packs to the ground, spun on his heel and stormed back to where the two young men had resumed their gossip session, a look of contempt on his face, as though he eaten something rotten. The blood drained from the faces of the soldiers when they saw Evan approach them. Though the top of his head stood just below the base of their neck, he still exuded an air of superiority. Such was to be expected from a war veteran, as those who cannot manage a strong outward appearence simply don't survive. He eyed the two of them a few minutes, looking up at them from one to the other. Both were standing before him with hteir heads hung low and their shoulders slumped, thus further nagging at the tick in Evan's forehead.
Such discipline.
His thoughts, though sarcastic as they were, brought a look of disgust on his face. Finally, unable to stand it any longer, he snapped at the two of them.
ATTENTION! YOU are soldiers! Shoulders back! Heads up! Eyes forward! Where is your discepline? Your self control? What could have possibly possesed you to think it acceptable to mock and degrade an ally?! We are at war. This is not the town gossip center! When times as dire as these, you do not have the luxary of choosing your friends! You must learn to accept those who would help you, lest they should choose to leave you to your own devices!
At the sound of Evan's first word, the men had immediately stood erect, staring straight ahead as they had been trained, listening to every word with undivided attention. Though their breathing was heavy, it was clear they ha heard every word, every single sound that escaped this small, seemingly insignificant "man". For small though he may now be, his powerful voice still had it's booming echo, a skill he had found nesecarry on the battlefield, and in disciplining his own troops. He looked up into their eyes, and found his height rather frustrating for the first time. From such a low vantage point he had a quite a disadvantage. It was impossible to intimidate a soldier you've never met without being able to look them in the eye. He sighed.
Well, they've certainly straightened up. That is what a soldier looks like.
He spoke again, this time with less of a harshness in his voice.
What haev you to say, hmm?
His eyes went to the ground and he paced a step or two to either side as he continued talking.
Have you found any... satisfaction from this? was it worth degrading a fellow soldier? I've come here not as some laughing stock, or some poor creature looking for pity, but as a warrior! The fates led me here because the assistance was needed! And I will not tolerate being treated as though I belong in a zoo!
He brought his gaze back up to theirs. He narrowed his eyes once more, looking up at their unblinking faces of stone.
It would be quite a dissapointment to fight upon the battlefeild together, only to find there is no respect for one another. We must trust one another, and in order to do so we must like eachother. That is not possible when the one fighting beside you thinks you should be residing within a circus tent rather than at their side. Is that understood?
With the last sentance his voice became more sharp. Both the men chorused their answer of
YES SIR! in unison, bringing a smile to Evan's face.
Very good then! As you were.
Evan turned to leave, but stopped to add,
Without the whispering.
The two young earth soldiers looked at each other with faces that resembled whipped puppies and walked into the springs for a much needed break. Now more than ever, as they had a great deal of sweat to wash off now.

The girl's eyes widened, "Ah. Forgive me, I would have shown proper respect had I know I was in the presence of a Princess." she said softly, offering a mere dip of her head as respect, a tongue in cheek way of reminding Ariya that their countries were still enemies no matter their personal relationship.

With her head still lowered only slightly she continued, "My name is Grace Indu, I am the aide of the Light King and the Muse of Emotion in the Light Council."

That said she lifted turquoise eyes to Ariya, careful not to meet her gaze as yet another sign of respect. "Now. I must ask... the reason you brought me along was not to protect me from any danger.... was it?"

Vivian rose to follow Alaura, feeling a nag at her chest for the well-being of the gracious leader as well as relief at her acceptance of the truth. "Of course I will accompany you." she said with a soft smile, sudden propriety straightening her back and lifting her head so that she walked with pride rather than the worry she'd come to Alaura with.

She paused, lifting the breezy green fabric of her dress from the bench to stare at it. "Thank you, for not getting angry with me over this." she said with a smile, pulling the small dress over her frame to tie it firmly about her body once more.

While Alaura dressed she seated herself to towel out her long black hair, grumbling in regret at having not put it up in a knot before she entered the bath.

Raphael gritted his teeth, he hated laying in wait like a coward in stealth. No. Raphael was a man who would stalk into the field of battle, declaring his presence because he knew very few could stand against him.

Now... he would wait until Princess Vivian made to be alone, as she surely would sometime this night. And when she did he'd pluck her from her solace and take her to the carriage. Her father would be missing her, his clever little angel...

A sneer crossed his face, considering the many punishments that would be lined up for the darling Princess who would dare to seek freedom from her own imprisonment. "She'll hate me... for taking her back." he cackled into his sleeve as he moved to wipe sweat from his upper lip.

It was hot as hell in this building.

Having just finished his meal, Shane was quite content with relaxing at the table. But before long his calm was interrupted. He took a look around the room to see what was causing all the noise and, to his surprise, his eyes found four of the Earth soldiers surrounding what looked to be a man from the Kingdom of Darkness. The soldiers were taking turns holding the man and beating him. Shane knew exactly how to remedy this issue. He looked around the room once more, and to his delight, he came across Balthazar.

Shane made his way over to the man, whom had been gorging on a plateful of food. He stood over the man and stared at him for a few seconds.

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm in the middle of eating?"
Shane laughed at the man's disgusting manner in which he ate. "It would seem that your men do not know how to behave themselves when we have a guest." Shane indicated to the Earth men that were harming the man from the Dark Kingdom.
Balthazar looked towards the men and gave a chuckle. "What do you want me to do about it? Outsiders aren't welcome in this group."
Shane got closer to his face and stared into the man as if he could see right through him. "I think we both remember what can transpire when you cross outsiders. Or do you need me to.... remind you?"

Balthazar quickly got up from the table and hurried over to the Earth men. He grabbed one of the men's shoulders and threw him aside, taking his fist and burying it in another Earthen man's teeth. He picked the man up from the floor that he had thrown aside and stood him up with the other two that had yet to feel his wrath. "If any one of you so much as thinks about lifting a hand against an innocent outsider again, I will beat you so badly, you will beg for death before I'm through. Is that understood you filth?" The three men stared down at the man whom was bleeding profusely from the face, before returning their frightened eyes to Balthazar. An anonymous "Yes Sir!" was resounded by the three men. "And when that ingrate gets off the floor tell him to straighten up his act or else I'll rip him apart next time." Balthazar then turned to the man from the Dark Kingdom. "My sincerest apologies sir, is there anything I can do for you."

Shane sat back down with a grin, as his calm returned once more.

As the men were thrown off of him, he stood up to his full height, which was decidedly shorter than the man who had helped him. I need to speak with someone who is in charge. He turned and bowed towards Shane. I thank you for your assistance. He stood back up. I am in your debt. His cool eyes studied the Water Kingdom man quickly. You are close to the leader of this camp, correct? I require to speak with someone in charge as soon as possible.

Back outside of the camp, the large tiger sprawled on the ground awaiting the return of his partner. He emitted a loud sigh, as it was very boring sitting around waiting.
