Kira smiled, blushing softly in embarassment. She looked at him with pink flecked green eyes and slightly squeezed his hand in hers. "S-sounds good..." She stammered, surprised at how much needed to be done before it could happen. She definitely wasn't used to public gatherings of any sort.

Shadow smiled and leaned in to give her a kiss. "Don't you worry. This will be a happy time for you. Nothing can go wrong. You'll like this gathering." he told her in a soft voice. He could tell that she was slightly nevous about going through with the whole thing but he wanted her to know that she had nothing to fear.

Kira stared down at her lap and then back up at Shadow. "Thank you..." She whispered, hugging him gratefully. "You're probably right." She smiled, kissing him lightly back. "Everything will be fine..." She was so grateful that he would be there with her.

Mia, finally coming out of her strange bout of silence she looked at Izumi, "where'd the doggy go?" Her mood almost childlike as if her mind had been reversed, and then she became serious again. "i'm going to the hot springs, follow if you'd like, i honestly wouldn't mind the company" She quietly walked out of the woods, pondering things.

Izumi blinked at this sudden departure.
"Well...i guess it wouldn't hurt...it is awfully cold for april after all..." ((lol it's april 2, I'm in georgia, and it's frickin snowing outside xd )) Izumi got up looking around to make sure there were no cans let laying around then she followed Mia. (after all, what else was there to do around this place, and Izumi had always been slightly clingy with her older sister whenever she got used to her for a while)

Mia walked quietly into the woods, an unusually thick book in her hand, she sat beneath Izumi's usual tree and opened to a page toward the middle. "..now where was I?" She looked around her for a moment and then turned all her attention to the book. She jumped slightly as she felt something warm wrap itself around her leg and blinked in surprise at the snake that was there "Why, Hello." The snake just flicked it's tongue out at her and rested it's head on her leg. She payed no more attention to it and read her book in silence.

Izumi bounced into the woods. She could have sworn she saw Mia coming this way....ah! She spotted her and bounced over.
"Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Izumi stops dead suddenly as she sees the snake wrapped around Mia's leg.
eek
"MIA!!! RUN!!! THERE'S A....A....SNAKE!!!!" Izumi screamed, then scrambled up a tree looking very comical.

Notices the snake look up at Izumi and flick it's tongue out at her. "I know there's a snake there, dear." She laughed at her sister and turned her attention back to her book "Would you please come down out of the tree, you look stupid" She sighed and waited for Izumi to come down "oh, by the way, the snake will be staying in our dorm from now on. Hope you don't mind" She smiled and patted the snakes head and it coiled itself around her arm.

Izumi took deep breaths. A joke. It had to be a joke.
"M-mia...." she said slowly climbing down. "Y-you're kidding, right?" she was not sure...her sister was prone to strange pranks. "I mean, I already have nightmares enough...." Izumi quickly stopped her sentance as she realized she was about to say something she shouldnt. (sorry gtg))

"Nightmares? About What??" She gave Izzy a look that assured her she wasn't kidding and took her snake and headed for the dorm. "Meet me at the dorm sometime, you know something I don't, and I don't like it." She put the snake around her neck and it loosely coiled itself and rested it's head on it's own body.

Izumi watched as Mia left. An expression of mingled fear and worry covered her face.
"I really did it this time..." she mumbled. "How is she going to feel if I tell her the truth...?" she sighed. This called for some major comfort food. Almost subconsciously (it was such a habit by now) she pulled a can of cheese out of her bag and stuck the end in her mouth.
Mia already suspects it. she thought. It's only a matter of time before she....but....I can't help the way I feel. I can't help it that my own shadow would scare me if it sneaked up on me good enough... at this thought, Izumi glanced around as if checking to see if her shadow was trying to sneak up on her again.
"I'll go to the dorm." she said out loud. "What else is there for me to do? I can't run away...."

Resting his weary body on a long broad branch, Xent had became comfortable laying across it. With his left arm laying across his chest and his other arm let loose dangling, he began to yawn loudly. Leaning up, he said, "This school is making me weary, I guess it would be best if I start talking to a few of the other students..."
Taking his glasses off that he only wore when he was alone, he leaped out of the tree and landed softly. While fixing the collar of his shirt, he said, "Maybe I should take a swordsmanship class, I have'nt had any matches in quite awhile..." With all the thoughts rumbling around in his head, he decided to lean his back onto the nearest tree and slide down with his arms crossed.

Lamia walked into the woods and sat beneath a large weeping willow, much different from the one her sister always lingered around. The Snake coiled itself around her leg. She looked up into the branches and a small mouse came crawling down the tree. The snake eyed it suspiciously "not food" she mumbled and the mouse crawled into the palm of her hand. The snake flicked its tongue out and could taste the mouse but ignored it. "maybe Izumi will let you stay too. if she even wants me around anymore. I may have to switch rooms.." She sighed heavily and the mouse crawled into one of her many pockets.

Mia looked up through the branches of the tree that drooped low and brushed the ground. The snake nosed at her pocket and the mouse shivered in fear. She glared at the snake and it edged away from her pocket. The sun filtered down through the branches and she closed her eyes. "So I really did it" She laughed dementedly..softly. "I killed him. The beast took over and I ripped his throat open." She shook her head and thought That truely explains a lot.. "So I'm a monster" She said to whoever could possibly be listening "I'm a monster who got away with murder before everyone's eyes, all because there is no fu-..Cure"

"Mia?? Mia? MIA!!!!!" Izumi called, running through the woods. there was a painful stich in her side from running so much. Physical fitness wasn't her forte. She was so panicked that she was barely looking where she was going.
