The meal, evening, and entire night passed comfortably and peacefully (except for Aliya and Amdir, who woke up with Adonijah several times during the night), and when morning came and Adanedhel bounded out of his bed, it was to find Shael cooking breakfast and Aliya nursing Adonijah as Amdir helped out.

"Hey, can I get Feng-chan and Ryu-kun?" he asked his father eagerly as he dressed himself.

At Amdir's nod of approval, the boy raced out of the house, around to the back, where the river was located. There, he knelt at the water's edge, his blue eye shining brightly with eagerness.

"Feng-chan!" he called, poking the water with one finger. "Ryu-kun! Come on, it's time to get up! Shael's making breakfast!"

Triton was outside with Celebor watching the boy, now man he knew from the porch. It was amazing in more ways in one to always observe the changes that happened. He was up though mainly out of habit than anything else, since it had been something he had been doing since he was very young.

Inside though Kara was making sure the bags were ready and was setting them by the door for Donovan to take with him. She was going to the routine with herself.

She could feel the soft ripples reach down to them, Feng woke up with a yawn, which only reached the surface as a bubble. Then, shaking her brother awake the two broke through the surface of the river. The drops of water glittered in their hair.

"Adan," Feng giggled making her way towards the shore.

"Good morning!" Adan giggled right back at the mermaid as he waited for her to reach the bank of the river. "I've never been able to see you swim in the river before! Is it nice and warm? Or is it cold? Can I swim with you? Probably not, it's kind of cold out today, but maybe another time when you come visit in the summer or something!"

He was literally bouncing from one foot to the other with excitement.

In other words there was a lot to do, but not a lot of time, he understood that feeling well. Triton's tail swished back and forth against the the deck as he thought about it.

"I don't think she would mind..." Triton ventured, "Since that is often the point of Donovan's visits, and perhaps he'll stay here longer, he does owe an actual visit himself as well."

Feng giggled he had so much energy it kind of reminder her of herself. She lifted herself out of the water, her brother doing the same as the water slid off of their scaly tails.

"We don't really feel cold, so I can't really tell," Feng replied.

Miyu ventured out of her room, her hair undone as she wandered down to look for her grandmother to help her braid her hair. Her little black wings fluttering as she went.

"You're lucky," Adan grinned, edging back a bit so that he wouldn't get dripped on. "The water's so cold, it'll make me shiver an turn blue if I go in it!"

He giggled and jumped to his feet. "Come on!" he urged his friends. "Shael's making eggs! Lots of 'em!" And he beckoned for them to follow him and ran back towards the front door.

The door opened wide to reveal Lore there all dressed and ready for the day. Though his braid was half undone, as he was in the middle of it when she knocked. He smiled warmly at the little Second, peering down at her.

"Good morning Skye," he faced her to she could feel him talk before looking at Elnara with amusement, "Elnara..."

Haradhel appeared in the dining room just then from the direction of the kitchen. When she saw Wish and Kara, she smiled at them, following their glance upwards towards the ceiling.

"This is nothing compared to a group of rescued children once theyu've been here for about a week," she chuckled softly, placing the prepared breakfast in the middle of one of the tables. "They're comfortable enough to make enough noise to wake a dragon."

Elrohir followed her shortly afterwards with a stack of dishes in his hands. "But they're always helpful, and rarely any trouble, even if they do make so much noise."

Adan grinned as he burst in the door, running directly towards the kitchen.

"I got 'em up!" he giggled gleefully, jumping into his chair and nearly knocking it right over. "They're coming!"

"Adanedhel, be careful," Amdir frowned, grabbing the back of the chair to steady it. "You're going to hurt yourself, or someone else."

Adwin and Alyse, sitting on the other side of the table, exchanged a glance. "Not us, Ada," they chorused. "We're over here, not over there."

"Well at the least he'll send your breakfast flying," Shael spoke up as she headed over to the table with a pan in hand. "And he had better not knock me down, or he'll be in trouble."
