Envy grinned as he sat on the tree branch, feeling a little better.Tru-chan "You intrigue me." She adds with a smile, leaning on the trunk of the tree he had scaled. Tru-chan You're cute when you're grouchy you know that?" She crosses her arms across her stomach, tilting her head and letting her eyelids close again.
Realizing what he just said to a human, he put on a comical face and a large anime-ish sweatdrop appeared on his head. ((haha))Tru-chan "I suppose its because you're a complete scientific 'abomination' of sorts... Then again, in a sense, so am I. So we're not so different, ne?"

Yuriku Riku hesitated, unsure whether she wanted to be questioned more. She smiled, and held her hands behind her back. Leaning casurally against the white washed wall, near the window. "Oh, I see. But I don't see it nessary to call the Brigadier General. As you see, neither of us meant any harm to the millitary. My name is Riku, and this my friend. We would very much appreciate if we could continue our travels." she replied, not a trace of hostility in her voice. What choice do I have? She tried her best to remain calm on the exterior, not to show any suspicion to the officer. But if worse came, at least Riku would be prepared in her left hand she held a peice of chalk. Hidden from the view by her long blue jacket sleeves. She crossed her arms and frowned a bit. Hmm... they still don't trust me don't they. "Alright alright. I'll let you two go." The two kids looked shocked at this statement. She chuckled to herself when she saw their reaction."I'm sorry, but that look just amuses me. And I'm sorry for being to hostile to you two before. I wasn't in a very good mood. I forgot that I was talking to two teenagers instead of murderers or crazy lunatics. Trust me this is who I really am outside my job. I'll escort the two of you out and it's nice to meet you two." She got up from her desk and opened the door of her office. They started walking toward the front entrance. "I'm sorry about everyone suspecting you for being intruders. I'm sure you've heard this before but a lot of people are pretty shaky because of the loss of power. "

How are you an 'abomination', as you called it?"Her eyes narrow as though weighed down with a heavy burden. "I despise the human race..." She began. "And I've shown it, clearly... 'scientifically speaking' humans are all about forward movement and developement... Not me." She continued, then paused to look up at him again, her eyes seeming cold and void of emotion for a fleeting moment. "So I do what I can to destroy what semblance of order and authority there is around me. Spent two years in prison before I busted out for intentional homicide... my 'parents' as they called themselves. I was younger... about six years ago I thin-" Jayden cuts herself off, looking away again,

Envy-san "May they be tortured by their own crimes. You'll all die sooner or later, then...... then I can forget why I was born." He whispered softly as Jayden cut off her sentence. Envy looked at her. "You killed them? Eh, humans.... killing off their own kind, without thought or feeling, then they watch the ones close to them die, and weep." His look became harsh. "You are all the same."

Envy-san "Are you saying you would like to be like me?" He spat as he watched her cut herself. Talking to Jayden was a bit more interesting than a child. She of course, was older and capable of intelligent discussion. Another thing that made it easier-- she didn't snap at him like a small dog, as would Adine. How do those two get along? Do they even get along?
He turned his head a little and leaned against the tree. "Finish your story." "I suppose... To be 'like you' would be something spectacular..." She stepped back, leaning on the tree again, and slid to a sitting position. "Finish the story... hmm... not much to tell..." Jayden continues. "My parents were merely agents of society and the system... they were mindless drones who submitted to the driving force that someone at some point said was the 'correct way...' I am quite handy with explosives and technology, you see." Her smile returned to her face as she recounted her triumph over the sacks of skin that spawned her. "Of course... I wasn't so proficient at escape at the time, or I wouldn't have ended up in the slammer... what was it called that place... it was near some laboratory I think... some real underhanded stuff occuring in that place." Turning her hand over, she placed some pressure on her right index finger with her left hand, dropping a spot of blood on the grass. "While I was there I was allowed to read as much as I pleased... theology, philosophy, science, technology, religion... every genre I could get my hands on... each only fortifying my oppinion. I got out during a sort of struggle when I was 17... I don't remember what exactly, I think a prisoner got out of hand and took attention away from everyone else. Since I escaped... I've been wandering around... doing as I please... hoping to find something different." Her eyes flit back to look up at Envy. "Something like you."

Envy-san Envy tore away from the empty space he was staring at and looked down at Jayden. She isn't like me. His eyes were empty and cold, things that had seen a lot in over 300 years. He stood up on the branch and jumped down, landing in the moist grass without a sound. "Let us wait for Adine elsewhere, I'm sure its cold out here." He glanced at her. She looked back at him and watched as his eyes flashed, and were now a deep brown. "Whatever... cold, warmth... doesn't bother me." She shrugs, averting her eyes, feeling as though he was silently rejecting her. Though... what was she to expect? She had only met him a few minutes ago. And relationships were oh so pesky anyhow... to be alone was really all she had to start with, but that was the path she had chosen. "Where exactly is she?" Jayden asked, getting to her feet.

Jayden followed, her eyes locked on the back of Envy's head. Her mind raced, berating her for the one lie she had told.
In truth I am afraid to die... the one thing that does strike fear in me... but I couldn't show something like that...
She shook her head lightly, her green eyes and red hair contrasting against the collar of her one piece.
In some ways, one could imagine her looking like Lust... Her hair wasn't as long, but framed her face in the same pattern, and her figure was something quite curvy and attractive. Though she didn't have the homunculus qualities, she did have a lust for blood, it seemed, and grappled with her origins and inner turmoil. Jayden was also a non-alchemy user.
But, she was still human.

Glancing at her left hand, the once whole chalk was in fragments due from her nervousness. She dusted her hands off and procceded to follow. Riku shrugged away some worries, pretending to be happy. After all it didn't happen everyday that accused tresspassers were let off so easily. Passing a couple of soldiers in way until the small group ended back in the lobby. Glancing over her shoulder, noticing the odd arangement of guests sitting down. The irish woman earlier seemed to be consoling a bed-ragged girl with similar redish hair, that was hard to believe. Was it really the same Adine who accused them of tresspassing?. Riku let her gaze wander off, a group of milltiary personal were also discusing something. She could help but noticing the shortest one there. Looking away, she stopped walking and asked in a polite fashion " Um out of curiosity... May I have my map back.? Its very important that I have it back. I think someone named Adine took it from me." She waited ready for any kind of reply, and was determined to have get it back. (( Sorry, for my bad grammar))
