"I don't think we'll ever be a majority. Half maybe... but how many of the humans will lock us up? I mean come on, we're nothing more than the start of another African American slave issue." Regina argued. "They were a minority, just the same as the whites but treated like a sub group of humans. We're treated so unfairly... I have to wonder how many of our kind are locked up now in science labs being analyzed. While we sit out here drinking coffee. We're just here because we look human, if we were blue skinned or something they would probably have never even let us in the store."

TNL gave a heavy shrug with his shoulder, "Sorry, I didn't mean to get into a debate, I'd just like to think that everything will work out for the best. That's the motto that's gotten me through life: Everything works out in the end. I know it's a fairly happy-go-lucky ideal, but it makes everything much more pleasant." He then gave a smile, "but what do you say we change the subject. Did you say you were in the amazon?"

"Yeah, for a week or so..." Regina sighed. "It was crazy. First there was Magneto and then Apocalypse to deal with. I'm just glad things are back to semi normal..."

"One thing I don't like much about the brotherhood though, is there's no real organization." she commented, twirling the stick around in her coffee. "Everyone is always doing their own thing. There is no training, which personally I feel I need. What's the point of having powers if no one really knows the full extent of them?"

Winged Outlaw All around Bayville, the more observant eyes noticed something odd. As if out of nowhere, large stereo speakers were suddenly set up along every street, every corner, atop every building, and even found themselves attached to the roofs of several buses and taxis. Most people, however, didn't notice until the speakers all sounded at once, at the exact moment Pietro began walking down Main Street, wearing a newly obtained Armani suit, carrying flowers, wine, and strutting like there was no tomorrow. Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,

However, though his strut was unmistakable, and the occassional dance move made girls weak in the knees and guys question their sexuality, there was really only one person Pietro had any plans of putting on a show for tonight. He strutted into the hotel, his background music still fresh to anyone's ears, and knocked on Obsidian's door. ooc: >_> i have no comment on this..* goes to listen to her copy of Ozzy singing staying alive * .............

"Training... yeah, that's why my parents sent me here. They decided they didn't like the fact that 'Mutant Training' wasn't a course offered at my old school, and so here I am. I would've been fine there... I have enough control over my powers so that they aren't a problem, and other humans get along just fine without powers, so anything I have is just extra. Still though, I would have some training if I'm going to be here. Supposedly that's why they chose this institute for me to go to: all they do is train. Sounds a little vigorous and boring, but that's what they chose, and I'll deal with it. I still have yet to go to the institute though, just wandered around for the past day and a half. I should probably check it out soon."

"Well... even if it is late, why don't we both go?" Regina suggested after a few minutes of thought. "I want to maybe see what other options I have other than the brotherhood. I can take us there through the shadows pretty fast, and I doubt I'll be missed... Well, maybe except for Reese."

TNL's lower jaw shifted for a sec, then he responded, "Sure, might as well. Doubt anybody will be up but I still have yet to go in and check it out. I guess now is as good a time as any, even if it is three hours until dawn." He gestured toward the door, "Lead the way... or rather, find a shadow."

Regina grinned mischievously. "It's night. The whole street is nothing but shadows... it's not finding a shadow but just which one."
Taking his hand she lead them into the shadows and after a few minutes they appeared out of the shadows near the Xavier Institute. The gates were closed and pretty much every light was out.
"Oh... that looks ominious. Maybe I should just leave you here and head back to the hotel..." suddenly she wasn't feeling so sure of herself. It was a new place, she knew no one there. At least she couldn't remember the people she had met while in the Amazaon. They were on different sides there and while she hadn't actually had a side then, she was afraid they would just scold her and kick her out.

Penance X OOC: Hopefully I won't have to fall off the face of the Earth when grad school starts up... I may, though... I don't expect things to be easy. I may be getting a scholarship if I pick up one more class. I thought two classes were going to be hard. Three may be rediculously hard.

Kylia slowly opened her eyes; she could see the glimmer of morning light peeking through a small window. She sat up and rubbed the sleep out her eyes and brushed few stray strands of hair away from her face. She heard Danny happily voice chime as he spoke to her. “Good morning miss sunshine! Did you sleep well? Although I fail to see how the hanger floor could be comfortable to someone as lady-like as yourself.” Oh… that’s right, she was still in the hanger, Kylia had fallen asleep while fixing Danny. Heh, it is a good thing she didn’t always need to be conscious to her abilities especially relay things through her system.
“It’s alright Danny I don’t mind… Heh… I can pretty much fall asleep anywhere, one of the advantages of being what I am I guess…I actually sleep very well.”
Then she thought but to the images in her mind just before she woke up, she smiled to herself… as if there was some secret meaning behind it.
“Well, since I’m all finished I’d better get all this stuff put away before someone sees me like this.” Quickly gathering up the cords (making sure to pull out the ones in the back of her neck and place her chocker back in place to cover the holes) and her laptop before heading back to her room. Along the way she bumps into Phenix, almost cause them to both loss their balance and Kylia to almost drop her things.
“Oh my… … I’m …so sorry about… I should really watch where I’m going… are you alright Miss Phenix?”"Yes I’m alright, don’t worry about it. Hey, Kylia I'm going to the mall. Do you want to go with me?"She just looked at Phenix rather confusedly, and innocently asked. “What is a ‘mall’?”

OOC: Yea, I've taken four or five courses at a time at community college before. Grad school classes are a zillion times harder... not to mention I have a full time job and a family smile School can be rough.

Phenix grinned at Kylia. For some reason she thought the question that Kylia asked was the best question in the world. There was just something about the girl that intrigued Phenix to no end. Or maybe it was the deep ceeded thought that this girl could kick her brother's computer a** for her.
"A mall... it's a place were alot of people go to shop. Its a building with all kinds of stores. They sell everything from computer parts to baby bonnets. I need to go get stuff for camping. You are going to come along, aren't you?"

ooc: i know we don't all have to play in the same time frames, but in that town it's like 2am to the brotherhood and TNL the guy that Jharvis is playing. It's probably 3am now and they're standing outside the Xavier institute... I'm thinking Regina might switch sides. ^^;;

Koko raised an eyebrow, rolling off the bed, getting up and walking to the door. When she opened it up, she was half-suprised to see Pietro standing there in an Armani suit, with flowers and wine...
~Big suprise...~ She thought.
She gave him a smile and nodded him inside. She pointed to herself, then to the flowers, as if asking him. She then tried to make him understand, opening her mouth and making the words: "Are the flowers for me, Pietro?" with her lips, but no voice.
Sincerely, she hoped he knew how to read lips...

John got off the elibator with Noko still riding on his back. They were just out the door when they ran into Pietro. John made to read in his pocket, but then stopped. That fight is over, you don't need to go after him. Remember you've already taken care of the camreas when you burned the house down, so you've got nothing else seft to do... Besides you don't have any lighters are flamethorwers on you, John thought to himself. He gave a slight nod to Pietro when he realized all of the speakers around town, and the fact that Pietro was signig something. All John could do was stare in disbelief.

She stifled a giggle as Pietro went into the elevator. She shook her head and grinned." Yup blood flow reversed hey why dont you bring me flowers??" she teased as she nudged his sides with her feet as to urge him on. Heading downtown passed some bars noko squealed suddenly and wiggled down from his shoulders. Grabbing his hand she drug him in just in time to hear her favorite song starting. Dragging him out to the dance floor she started to dance with him as the lyrics started:
