((Remember that RiverClan usually eats fish.

((OMG sorry peoples! Haha I'm curently at my friends house and I'm stealing her comp while she reads this story that I'm writing. ninja hehehe))
Rainfur forced himself to nod. "I suppose you're right. It's much too dangerous right now. Sandpaw wouldn't be able to take this weather in his possible conditions." he mewed. He wished more than anything that the storm would ease up so they could retrieve their apprentice, but he knew it was usless. Finally giving in, he turned around and followed Torrenstar back across to their side of the river. "There better not be a storm tomorrow." he hissed, not sure if Torrenstar could hear him over the thunder.

Icetail's ears perked as he realized he didn't hear the rain pounding on the dirt. It was snowing. "Fox dung!" He hissed, barely noticing Crystaleye's catch. "It's snowing!... I suppose we might as well continue, anyway." He grumbled. This sort of weather made him grumpy. Icetail wanted sunshine, to feel the warm ground under paw. Alas, the clan had to be fed, and soon. But he would be much happier when he was warm inside of the warriors' den, chatting with the other warriors.
ooc:// Ah, the classic, "Look at this!" trick. It's helped so many people while they were away from home. 3nodding //

Crystaleye sneezed, and mewed, "Y-Yeah." She looked over to the river, and hissed, "Fox dung, I doubt I can fish in that..." She saw the swollen river, which wasn't doing any better. "It'll freeze soon, and then we'll all go hungry." She muttered, her tail brushing the grass. "I vote for not freezing my tail off and going over the bridge to hunt near WindClan border." Owleye noticed it was snowing, and stayed nice and warm in the elder's den. She laid down, stretching, and mewed, "I hate leaf-bare, but it's actually kind of nice when you're in the elder's den."

((OMG i think Riverclan has too many characters now, I can't keep up with all the new characters sweatdrop .... and P.S. I'm tired of OOC i just wanna roleplay! STOP BEING MEAN TO TORRENTSTAR HE'S JUST WORRIED ABOUT HIS APPRENTICE AND HE HAS WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON HIM TO BE PERFECT! NEVERMIND let's just move on! sigh...))
Torrentstar nodded agreeing. He might not even be able to walk. He hated to think that he was so injured especially when he hadn't seen him in two whole days and probably wouldn't get to see him for another few. If the River flooded now, it would take a while for it to die down again. He wondered what Windclan was thinking? If they minded keeping him so long. And how long it would take them to finally just throw him out. He purred internally at his joke. His apprentice was annoying but not that annoying. He kept padding towards camp as the first snowflakes began to swirl around the two cats.

Pebblefoot followed the two warriors outside of the camp and immediately fell into a crouch. It was raining and she would have to be low to the ground to even catch a whiff of any prey scent that wasn't already washed away. Suddenly she caught a trail she followed it as silently as she could manage on her big Riverclan paws. She stalked and then surprisingly she saw movent in the reeds near the river. She crouched lower, her belly brushing the ground, and moved forward. She came forward waited and pounced! ...she landed one whisker away and the water vole she had been stalking scurried away faster than she could ever hope to run. Pebblefoot sighed as she sat up in defeat, her stomach growling in frustration. She had never been a very good hunter. She tilted her head to the side. The rain had stopped. It was snowing. She glanced at the sky. It was completely white and snowflakes were beginning to fall. "Oh no..." They had gotten through most of leafbare with very little snow. She had been afraid of this. Snow and cold brought on many diseases, and with Riverclan being situated in the dampest area, the cats were sure to get sick with greencough, or white paw, or worse.... she stopped gazing at the sky and went back to sniffing at the ground. And with no medicine cat in Riverclan... she thought regrettfully. She bounded through the snow laiden reeds searching for Icetail and Crystaleye. She didn't want get stuck out here in the snow by herself.

Mooneye grunted. "Go find your mother. Her yowling is hurting my ears." She meowed above the rain and thunder. She walked away then knowing that Moonkit was safely inside the clan. She may be a bit cranky sometimes but she wasn't insensitive. If one of her clan members needed her help she wasn't going to ignore a mother's helpless call for her kit. Even if it hurt her ears. She murmured something under her breath before heading toward a hidden place away from the rain... or rather snow that was now falling. It would take a hurricane or worse to forse her into the elder's den...
Silvertail was still frantically searching for Moonkit. She hadn't followed Mooneye which probably would've been the smarter thing to do. She was barely paying attention to her. She ran to the warrior's den picking up a scent and began to search in there ripping apart carefully made beddings and scruffing up dirt fruitlessly. She was making quite a mess...

Moonkit decided Mooneye was right; she needed to find Silvertail. Taking a quick glance around the camp, it was easy to notice bedding and dirt being thrown around. "Silvertail!" She called, scrambling into the warriors den. The moment she got in she was shocked to see the nicely made beds in a flury and dirt covered a good portion of the floor. "Silvertail! It's not nice to make a mess of a home that's not yours!" Moonkit said, jokingly. "I'm right here, you crazy furball." She laughed, prodding Silvertail in the stomach with her fore arm. At that moment, she felt something began to build inside of her. "Aaah...AAAaaahhh...... AAAAAACHOOOOOO!!!" The sneeze came out of no where, and it almost blew her out of the warriors den.
Icetail nodded. "Let's hope they don't blame us for hunting on their territory. Even though we won't, they might say so because of Sandpa--" Icetail caught himself right there, not wanting to blame Sandpaw for what had happened. It wasn't his fault he was attacked by dogs. Icetail closed his eyes, let out a big sigh, and began to head towards the twoleg bridge.

Owleye looked around, and walked out of the elder's den to get a fish. She returned, crouching to eat it, and crunching on the bones loudly. "The bones are best." She mewed happily.
Crystaleye shivered in the cold. "It is freezing!" She mewed, feeling cold white snow fall on her.

Dampfoot purred in genuine pleasure as soft white snow began drifting lazily towards the floor. It melted quickly once it hit the ground, absorbed by the already sodden soil. Dampfoot loved snow more than she loved rain. It was one of very few things that brought her enjoyment. The only problem was, it brought about disease and frosty moods as cold as the brisk winds themselves. She shook her head and smiled sadly, wearily levering herself up onto her paws and trudging slowly towards the warrior's den. As she walked, she swung her head back and forth, much like the twolegs did as they crossed the thunderpaths, surveying her chilly surroundings. She called out when she spotted the elder crouching undercover, "Mooneye! Careful you don't catch something out here in the cold! We can't really afford to see any cats fall ill, especially without a medicine cat." Without waiting for an answer, she trotted on, reaching the warrior's den feeling cold and wet but moderately pleased. Her good mood was shattered when she reached her destination. "Moonkit!" She remarked as the kit almost bowled into her, a volcanic sneeze errupting from the kit's muzzle "That can't be healthy.." She murmured in concern, her brow creasing with worry. One paw raised, she made to usher the kit into the warmth of the warrior's den -- which, much to her dismay, looked like a monster had just trundled through. "SILVERTAIL! What in StarClan happened in here?!" A set of exasperated, wide gray eyes begged askance of the distressed femme in front of her, awaiting an explanation.

Mooneye grunted at Dampfoot's words. But she was right. Even Mooneye wasn't stubborn enough to live through Blackcough. She got to her paws half reluctantly. She still wouldn't go to the elder's den she didn't care who got mad at her for it she would, at the very least, sleep in the warrior's den. She got to the entrance of the den, her feet were cold and she was eager to get inside. She could barely feel where she was going in the snow, which didn't carry much vibration and it made her nervous not to know where or who she was headed towards. She stopped short in front of the den. She could smell Dampfoot and Moonkit in her way and wondered stubbornly what the hold up was. Then she smelled Silvertail and .... dirt. Silvertail looked up panting and out of breath. She saw Moonkit first and her eyes widened in relief and happiness. But before she could call out to her kit she looked up at Dampfoot. Then she looked around the den for the first time since actually entering it. There was bedding strewn across the floor, dirt scattered everywhere, moss and feathers were everywhere. It looked as if a battle had just taken place here. Silvertail stuttered, shocked at the mess she'd made, "I-i-i'm sorry Dampfoot." She mewed bashfully stuttering. She looked at Moonkit. I-i was looking for Moonkit, i thought her scent lead here." She shuffled her paws like an apprentice being scolded. She looked up. "I'll clean it up." She bounded towards Moonkit. Not even licking her lovingly between the ears. She was embarassed. She barely even looked at the kit. She had destroyed the warrior's den and Moonkit had been behind her the whole time. "Go to the nursery..." She said not looking at the kit she was not in the mood to even smile. She got scared about Moonkit alot but never had she been more ashamed of her foolish searching than right now. She saw Mooneye standing outside the warriors's den. "Take Mooneye with you. Tell her i'm asking for a favor." Then she turned around and began to gather all the moss and feathers into a pile preparing to sift through it and separate them into piles.

Moonkit felt like exploding at that moment, her mind telling her to scream out, I can take care of myself! I'm not a kit anymore! But instead she simply said, "Whatever." Trudging out of the warriors den, she looked at Mooneye, even though she knew she couldn't look back at her. "You know, it's times like these that the isolation of being a loner doesn't sound that bad." She sighed, absent-mindedly heading for the entrance of camp. Correcting her path so that it led to the nursery, she decided she wouldn't put the burden of watching her on Mooneye. She knew Silvertail would be mad, but right now, she didn't want to speak to Silvertail. She could take care of herself, if she wanted to. For once, Moonkit actually welcomed the comfort of the nursery when she slithered through the entrance. It was always so peaceful in there. "Great Starclan, why can't they see I can take care of myself?" She huffed, then curled into a ball at the edge of the space. When sleep would not come to her, she decided to lay awake and think of all of the things she would be able to do when she was apprenticed.

((aw it's the perfect drama. When Moonkit is finally not doing something wrong, she actually does get in trouble. xD but i do feel bad for Silvertail though, If i were he i'd be crying because Moonkit doesn't want to talk to her xD.)) Crystaleye just came into view as Pebblefoot bounded through the snow that was piling up. She knew where they were headed now, it was quite obvious that they were hoping to find more prey on the Windclan border line. She quickened her pace and fought her way through the pawdeep blanket of snow on the ground. She was just about to call out to Crystaleye when her breath caught in her throat. "Torrentstar?" She mewed. He and Rainfur were headed back in her direction but Sandpaw was not with the two warriors. Had they already crossed the river? Where was Sandpaw? They weren't yet close enough to see the river so she couldn't see that it was raging and flooded from the storm.
