"Yeah. if they popped her arm, what makes you think this guy will keep his? And why is she not made to be definitely stable, instead of 'for now' stable! I don't have anything more than basic first-aid stuff on my PDA!" Jarred paused, grabbing his PDA. "Memo: put serious medical stuff on here."

More fun that way anyhow. Of course we could just send you off to Pendari's ship, think you'd do a better job getting on the ship then she would?" Lia glanced at him, remaining particularly calm as always. "Nothing is ever definite. If there is pieces of shrapnel left in her arm that I've missed it could possibly cause problems. Maybe infection, or even a small bit floating up the blood stream could stop her heart. A bit of bone could do that as well. For now, she is stable, and I will be here to help her if that changes."

Jarred through his arms up in exasperation. "Whatever. Syx, call me if you need me, I'll be checkin that lead. And I don't think it's a good idea to let the one key we've found run off-Check Pen for a card!" Jarred interrupted his own speech.

((Sorry to dump Lanita on you that way. I had different plans before I realized what would happen when she opened the door that way, and then I had to get to work. Sadly, I don't have time to stick around tonight, either...))

"Hey! I didn't ask you to come here! You're the one who start running over the moment I called." Syx lowered her duster hat and crossed her arms. "Fine, no calls. And it's not my damn job to be protecting the chick who got us into this mess in the first place!"
Syx glanced at Arix, "You're going to start talking the moment you're patched up."
Lia moved from Lanita to Arix. "Looks like this was a rather careful stab-job." She said in a voice only loud enough for him to hear. "I'll need you to remove your shirt, I should have this cleaned up in quick time."

Arix paled as Lia mentioned the stab, then removed his shirt. "Good to hear. I just can't wait to go back to my cell." He then laid back and hoped Lia would keep his secret a bit longer.

After finishing with the bandages, Lia stood up and stepped away from Arix, giving him a nod to signify she had finished.
