ok I have the need to rant
I hate how some "Events" such as this easter egg hunt cause people from random forums to gravitate to other forums and post randomly.... the sheer volume of repeat and "hang out" threads is irritating enough..... but the fact that when one tries to politley redirect or help to reduce the constant repeats they are just blown off is rediculous
The VGD specifically states that hang out threads are not allowed and that people should look for existign threads before makign uneeded repeats.... but it seems that random forum goers can not be bothered to actually take the 5 minutes to check for a thread before makign a repeat

I took a three-day break from Gaia because I posted this picture.
I'll be the first to admit, it was probably a little too flamish. Even so, I've seen far, far worse in threads that Beramode herself has posted in, that haven't gotten deleted or even reported.
And in the thread, a single person complained about the picture. I don't know why, but it seemed more than apparent that it was either a Bloodrayne fan, one of the few Uwe Boll fans, or one of the even fewer Bloodrayne movie fans. Four other people posted, including Terminal Dogma, that thought the picture was hilarious. Of course, along with deleting the thread (which, incidentally, was titled "..." and included only the words "dkl;jgfkl;" in the first post), I was warned for my picture.
God forbid the mods should look at the picture, or the thread, or both, before opening their mouths. It's not like they're too busy. I reported several spam threads just like that that took 3 hours to get deleted. Nobody had any response from any of the VGD mods for waaay too long. I understand that they've got lives outside of Gaia, but they should at least do their jobs. When you accept becoming a mod, you have a responsibility to a hell of a lot of people. If you're becoming too busy to fulfill your duties, then quit, and let someone more capable take your place. Refusing to relinquish mod privleges is just selfish as hell, and unfair to the people that have to rely on you.
I mean, look at Malee. The FFVII:AC sticky in the FF subforum hasn't been updated since September.

Why is it that people are so obsessed with PMing people they don't ******** know? For the longest time I've gotten PMs from people who ask me the most random ******** things I could ******** think of, and half the time they don't even post in the damn Gaming Discussion forum. I've gotten PMs asking me if I've played gunz the duel, asking me if what I like about the gamecube, and of course(because my little note in my sign isn't enough for the ********) asking where to get the pictures in my sig. Why? Why are these people allowed to use computers?

I ******** hate it when random idiots want to try and call me a fanboy just because I disagree with them and they can not logically disprove my points
I mean come on, anyone who knows anything about me and how I post can attest that I am not a ******** fanboy.... yet these diots have the audacity to try and label me a fanboy in order to try and undermine my comments just because they lack the intelect or facts necessary to disprove what I say or back up their own points.
I mean what the hell, is that the only thing they can come up with.... calling someone a fanboy because they can not prove their point
