ANDANDAND I have time to spare today so MAYBEMAYBEMAYBE I can FINALLY get this chapter out. I know, I've been promising it to you since last year (literally) but who knows? I may actually be serious this time.

Yeah, I love Leathermouth. I don't listen to them religiously (same with Pencey Prep) but they're still pretty awesome.
ALSO, I decided I'd post a snippet of the redo for Keep Changing here to see if anyone likes it. So please, read it and tell me what you think: Preface // Blood

I hated walking to school.
Back where I used to live, in Bellville, I loved walking everywhere. It was a sanctuary to me, a time where I could feel safe and have time to just think. To contemplate my life, and my friends, and just to question everything. There was no danger – it was a small town. Honestly, what in Bellville, New Jersey could go wrong?
But now I lived in the city, in Newark. Too large and wide, too vastly populated to offer me any sort of comfort. My first week in the new house had been spent in the basement I immediately claimed as my bedroom. It was dark, and eerie, which would do wonders for my pallor, and I could just sit and draw in the shadows and not have to worry about my little brother Mikey staring over my shoulder to see what I was doing.
But now it was my second week, and my reprieve was over. My parents had insisted we start school as early as possible, and we couldn’t retaliate. School had only been in session for two weeks, and starting at this time wouldn’t do any damage. Starting any later would harm us, and they didn’t want that. Even though they understood education wasn’t my priority, I couldn’t drop out, defending their actions with giving me a fallback option.
So here I was, a backpack slung over my shoulders, my brother’s lanky form directly in front of me. Ahead of us was the tall, impressive form of Newark High School. The place that would be my hell for the next ten months. We were slowly walking to school.
Did I mention I absolutely despised walking to school?

tbh, I can only listen to LeATHERMOUTH (how I was told it was spelled) for short periods at a time, because to me I just can't can't imagine staying THAT angry for an entire album xD
kudos to Frank and the band tho, the CD wasn't bad.
*Compared to the first chapter, are you going to wait a while before introducing Asia and the gang? The background info is pretty zomg don't kill me for saying this haha...trite? But then again...can't really change it into something different because it just wouldn't be a gerard fanfic, now would it razz

Actually, she gets introduced like... not as fast as in the original, but still in the first chapter.
Then again, the first chapter is... like... 3,286 words long.
But whose counting? hahaha
And the only reason I redid it was because I felt I was moving too... fast into everything. I wanted to give more time for thought. The only real difference is the timing. All the same events I had planned will occur, just as all the same people will be involved. Just... not exactly in the same way.
