Ranu ignored Auron a moment as he read through the Roman book. His own floated beside him. After a moment, he glanced up at Auron over his glasses, "Oh! Auron. You should not creep up on me. You'd have given me a heart attack if I was still alive."
His mockery was soft yet sharp. Like a stick. "And what do you want, oi lord of the 'oi'?

"do you have any experience taking down barriers? i need that one around tortuga taken down" auron said, pointing his thumb over his shoulder at the massive barrier "i have a score to settle with the man who set it up" he says, thinking suddenly about natasha "oh, and your cousin is in danger, some people who work for the man are trying to either kill or capture her, i can't remember which"

Ranu waved a hand a the barrier. "Who put it there?" He said in a calm, yet amused, tone. His eye twitched at the mention of his cousin. "Oh? Danger you say? Do tell."
Dream flared blue against Ranu's back warningly.

The barrier annoyed Jaenelle. She put her hands on her hips and tilted her head as she looked at it. Such a bad colour.
She waved a hand and it glowed red as she called Nightmare.
Zeus
Coast of Tortuga
Nightmare reverted to his human form, eyeing Storm with a smirk of open mutiny. "Scared ya can't keep up?" He asked. The smell of rum was fading.
His hand flashed purple. With lightening speed he kissed Storm and vanished in a red flash of light. He, infuriatingly, landed hovering by the barrier.

(I'm back and i was snubbed by Hilary Clinton, John Kerry, and Ted Kennedy. So i went to complain to Barak Obama, but he wasn't there. At least he left choclate. biggrin I DID manage to get into the Supreme Court, but somone managed to beat me to the corruption stare )
*Michael returned above deck, as Chaos knelt before him.*
Chaos: "Master"
Chaos: "This one works for Botch."
Chaos: "We brought her to you!"
"Excellent work, Chaos."
*Michael walked past her to Aubry.*
"And who, exactly, would you be?"

"some freaky navy guy named Michael put up the barrier" auron said, looking at the glowing green thing as his wings curled around his chest "as for Natasha, i do not know who is after her, but i do know that someone or something is looking for her" he says, as his wings start chiming with a breeze passing by "i must be off, if i do not take down that barrier soon, that rat will destroy tortuga" he says, spreading his wings and jumping onto the mast to look at the town

Kibo grabs Auron's leg, stopping him from flying away.
Kibo: He's not gonna destroy Tortuga yet. He'll have to take down the barrier to do it. If we sink his ship, Tortuga'll go down, but the opposite is also true.

"and when he does take down the barrier, i have seven feet of cold steel ready for his black heart" auron says, as Resatè appeared next to him"'ey, don't be so absentminded, ya fool, we need to worry about my daughter" the red haired old pirate said, scratching his long red beard "ah, dont worry, if natasha is captured, i will simply slice off the kidnappers head" auron said, drawing his tiny dagger and pointing it out towards the Zeus as it extended "and i will cut down the devil who turned our island into a living hell"

Zia and Madia stole Storm while she was still fuming about Nightmare's kiss into the Between, through the barrier and out onto Tortuga proper. Infront of Jaenelle and Nightmare, of course. Storm grinned and flipped him a rude hand guesture before turning ot her daughters.
"Not that I am not appercating that, which I am, but why did you take me through?"
They shrugged.
"We got bored." "Oh so veryvery bored." "And hopped you could entertain us." "Do you have your coin?"
