Lusia followed her young master into the house as it began to storm. They made it inside just in time; rain began to pour down suddenly as if the clouds had been ripped open. Now they were safe inside, but Momo still looked frightened. As the thunder boomed causing Momo to scream, Lusia realized that Momo must be afraid of storms.
Lusia wrapped her arms around the small girl and held her tight. "It's alright, dear one. Don't be scared, my child. I am here for you, and I love you so," Lusia sang. She had learned the song long ago, but she had forgotten it until now. Lusia gently pressed her cheek against Momo's and sang the verse again before letting her go.

Momo felt Kiyoko's and Lusia's arms around her and heard their kind words. Lusia had said that she loved her. Momo had never heard anyone say those words to her, and she wondered if Lusia meant it. At that moment Momo couldn't have been happier. She had friends around her who cared about her, and it made her happy. She relaxed and she pushed the horrible sounds playing in her mind away and listened to Lusia sing. Then she looked up and smiled at Kiyoko and Lusia, "T...thank you. I'm sorry if I scared you when I screamed...I...I just get scared when it starts storming like this."

Ben was glad when he saw Kiyoko and Lusia comfort Momo. They really cared for her...like he did. He knew why she was so afraid of storms, and he didn't blame her. She had been through a lot...and she was so young. "It's ok to get scared...even I get scared sometimes," he laughed. Then he lead the way to one of the bathrooms to get Kiyoko cleaned up. "Kiyoko if you want to take a bath, you can, or we can just clean off your leg with a rag? If you want to take a bath, I'll get us some hot chocolate ready."

Momo smiled. It was good to know that she wasn't the only one who felt scared sometimes. As they walked to the bathroom she said to Kiyoko, "I bet a bath would make you feel all better!" She turned to Ben, "Can I help you make the hot chocolate? I'll be real careful not to spill it, I promise!"

Kiyoko was glad that Momo was feeling better; she seemed to be able to get over her fears for the time being. She looked at herself in the mirror as she heard Ben's question. In truth, she was quite a mess. Her hair now had dirt in it, her dress had on pizza stains, dirt, and blood. "You're right, Momo. I guess I'd better take a quick bath; I dunno how to explain myself to the maids otherwise." she answered with a small laugh. After running upstairs quickly to get another dress, she turned on the water in the tub. "I won't be long, and hot chocoalte sounds wonderful!" she answered, as she shut the door to the bathroom door.
A few moments later she was in the tub, washing off the dirt and evidence of the odd day. Her pigtails were gone, and her now soaked hair reached to her shoulders. She had sat Mr. Fluffy on the sink, since he didnt like water much. He was quite a picky kitty. She started to sing to herself as she went over her thoughts.
Nate was reading a magazine as the thunder and lighting continued, as well as the rain. Hope the train isn't delayed; I wanna get the heck outa here! he thought to himself over his music.

"Sure you can help," Ben answered Momo as he took her hand and led her to the kitchen. He motioned for Lusia to follow. He knew where they kept coco packets; on the top shelf of the pantry, so the littles kids couldn't reach it. Ben took down six packages and handed them to Momo while he got a kettle. "Lusia, will you fill this with water and heat it on the stove?" Ben asked as he handed Lusia the kettle then went to get six mugs. He put the mugs on the counter and put a stool on the floor in front of them. "Will you put the chocolate in the mugs?" he asked Momo. He then went back to the pantry to find some mini marshmallows.

"Alright, sir," Lusia said as she took the kettle and filled it with water. She went to the stove and paused. She hadn't used a stove like this before. It didn't seem too complicated and she didn't want to disappoint them. She set the kettle on the back burner and looked at the knobs. She finally chose one and turned it. Immediately a little flame shot up under the burner to the left of the one she was using. She sighed and picked up the kettle and set it down on the lit burner and stepped back. Well that wasn't too hard, she thought.
After another bolt of lightning lit up the sky, Lusia went to the window. The thunder boomed off in the distance. It seemed that the storm would continue all night. Lusia sighed. I hope dear Momo will sleep alright through the storm.

Star nodded to Ronin. "Sure, have fun. I'll be here, reading." Star said, with a half smile. She sat down on the couch, and pulled a book out of the rack. It was called, "Dive: The Discovery".

Ronin was half surprised that Star didn't want to go with him, but he shrugged. "Alright," he said eying her book. He walked to the door. You sure you don't want to come?" he asked. But just then a loud clap of thunder sounded outside. He opened the door to find that it had started to storm. "Nevermind..." he laughed. "I don't mind the rain though," he smiled. "You want me to bring you anything back?" he said before stepping out the door.

The train lights dimmed and flicked, before going out entirely. Over head, a PA box assured the passengers it was nothing more than a minor technical difficulty, and they would have the lights back on in no time. Several moments passed before the lights slowly half-way came back to life, throwing the cabin into dark relief. Syrith sat across from Nate, casually lounging back in the booth while lazily watching the boy with his good eye. Lightning exploded outside, filling the room with a flood of light.
Ayla clasped Cosmo's hand in her own, giddily grinning like an idiot. They could go anywhere?! Just like that? "Take me to the city center!" She exclaimed. "There's a restaraunt there, The Silver Swan." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she remembered her last experience trying to go there. The maitre d' had refused to serve her, telling to come back with a parent and some real money. Yeah, I'll show them a parent. Ayla thought. I'll show a couple other things while I'm at it.

Cosmo closed his eyes and thought about the city center, and the nice restaurant they would go to. He was about to bubble over with excitement, finally he would be able to eat! Apparently, all Cosmo had to do was think about who or what he wanted to teleport, and they would come with him to wherever he went. Cosmo thought about himself and Ayla and they started to teleport. At the last second Cosmo opened his eyes and saw a squirrel run up a nearby tree, "Oh squirrel!" All the sudden Cosmo and Ayla were standing on the sidewalk in the city center, and in the middle of the road was the tree. "Oopsies...uhhmm...Cosmo made a boo boo." A car swerved to the side, it's tires screeching, to avoid hitting the tree, and ran into a ditch. The terrified squirrel darted from the tree and dashed off out of sight. "Aww, I didn't get to talk to the squirrel..." Just then a bolt of lightning made Cosmo jump, "Ah! I didn't do it!" He looked around and then sighed, "Come on, lets get out of the rain, and go EAT!" He shouted with joy.

((Lol, Cosmo. xd ))
After making sure that there was no more dirt and that she was squeaky clean, Kiyoko drained the tub and got out. She dried her self off, although her hair was usually the hardest to dry. It was like some sort of sponge, and the maids usually complained if it wasn't dry enough, since they didn't want water everywhere every time she turned her head.
After getting dressed, Kiyoko looked at herself in the mirror. She looked a lot better; it was as if it had never happened. This dress was a sleeve-less light blue, with three little bunnies in the corner on top, and a plad baby-blue-and-white colored on the rim of the bottom of the dress. She had on white socks with a dark blue trimming, since it was hard to match stuff here. Deciding to leave her hair down for the time being, after taking care of anything else, she washed her hands and grabbed Mr. Fluffy from the sink. She opened the door and was greeted by cool air. As she made her way to the kictchen, she noticed that a lot of the children were watching the weather, wondering when the storm would end. She slipped by them into the kitchen, her little feet pitter-pattering as she half-dragged her kitty with her lazy hand, although not touching the floor.
Nate sighed, along with the others in the train, as the power went off for a moment. He turned down his music and looked outside again. It was raining harder than ever. However, it wasn't until he turned back around and looked across from him, that he jumped, for he recgonized the man sitting across him. It coudn't be! It's not possible! No...it's my imagination...he thought in panic, as he quickly turned the metal song back up and stared at the magizane, his hands now shaking slightly. At least he still had a few back-up knives.

Aqua cursed as the sky opened up on her, and flew faster towards a train she had seen. darting in, now so tiny she was the size of a fly, she saw the boy, who had thrown the knife at her mistress. she also noted the man, another persons creature, sitting nearby. she bristled. 'what the hell does he think he's doing? it was my charge he hurt! he has no right to seek revenge on her! why cant he just go back to protecting his own charge.' feeling angry, she silently wafted near to where the boy sat, and drew a tiny knife from her boot. its tip had a fast acting poison in it, that, while not being deadly, would be very painful while it worked its way through his body. she took aim, waiting..

Then kettle began to whistle and Lusia jumped a little at the harsh sound. She hurried over the the stove to move the kettle and turn off the burner. She noticed Kiyoko had just come in.
"Your coco will be ready in a moment!" she chimed and smiled at the beautiful little girl. She looked absolutely precious.
