"A scratching noise?" Alan said. "Well, We need to see what it is, first." he said to her. He took his machine gun and started to walk inside the kitchen. The scratching noise could still be heard.

Keeping his rifle at Eyepoint, he slowly walked into the kitchen. "Just make sure Kogeki's safe." he said to her. He kept his finger on the trigger, and cold sweat was coming down his forehead.

"Ok, Alan...you better come back ok!"she said as she closed the door and picked up Kogeki and noticed he had something in his mouth."Whats in your mouth Kogeki?"she said as she tried to get it out.A key to a room dropped out of Kogeki's mouth that said Luxury Suite.She walked over to the elevator and got in and went up to the Luxury Suite."Well kogeki how luxurious do you think it will be?"she said."When we get up to the room I'm gonna get some rest so that my wounds will get better faster...they still hurt a little..."she said as the elevator doors opened and she walked over to the luxury suite and opened the door."Wow this is nice!"she said and walked over to the humongous bed and layed down and attempted to go to sleep but couldn't because she was worried about Alan.

Cassandra had finally arrived in Sacramento. It was a long and tiring trip, and her aching body told her that her first priority was resting. Her mind concurred--after all, she could always start implementing her schemes once she was refreshed and ready to do so.
She walked through the dusty streets, in awe of how much they had changed. She mostly kept to the shadows; she didn't need any unnecessary conflict just yet. She was determined to stay unknown, or at least unidentifiable. For this purpose, she had tried her very best to hide her true identity and status. She was dressed from head to toe as a simple harem girl, adorned with cheap silks and jewelry. She was, perhaps, exposed a bit more than she would have liked, but as long as nobody could guess she was a famous diplomat, she didn't mind. Her hand wrapped around a scented lilac shawl as she silently wandered down the street.
She saw a hotel up ahead and decided to stop for the night. Before entering, she looked up for a second to make sure her guards were in the vicinity. She pulled down her veil as she entered the building.
She found the hotel to be a quaint little place; perhaps not as lavish as her own place in Morocco, but it would do. Her silk wraps fluttered behind her without a sound as she walked up to the main desk. Leaning heavily against it, she looked around for an attendant or a bell of some sort, but to little avail. She waited there, strumming her fingers against the oaken surface.

Alan looked through the kitchen and heard the groaning and the scratching. "Come on out!" He shouted in the kitchen, keeping his gaze moving.

Hitake just sat there in bed for a little while.She sat up and looked around for kogeki."Kogeki?where did you go?"she said as she got up and walked over to a bookcase that they had in the suite.She looked behind the bookcase and say Kogekis tail sticking out of a hole in the wall."Kogeki come here"she said as she reached her hand back behind the bookcase but pulled it back because she felt a sharp pain in her hand and looked at her hand and saw three scratch marks."kukohyro suru!"she said as she walked over to a cabinet to look for disinfectant.

The scratching and the groaning was still heard. And from the sound of feet on the ground, it was moving closer. Alan backed closer to the door. It was a good idea to try and get away from whatever this thing was.

Hitake grabbed the disinfectant and put it on the cut and then put a band-aid on it."When i get my hands on that cat..."she said as Kogeki mewed across Hitake's leg.She picked Kogeki up and said"Why did you scratch me Kogeki?"in an angry tone.

Cassandra quickly grew impatient with the lack of service. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she decided to go searching for the absent staff members. She spotted a door behind the desk, which probably led into the service area. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to see inside, so she stood directly in front of it for a moment, debating whether or not to enter.

Slowly getting out of the room, he closed the door and locked it. Alan took a brief moment to catch his breat. Suddenly, a large bang was heard ohn the door, and Alan souted in fright. He unloaded a few bullets through the door, just to be sure he hit something.

She was about to reach for the door when it opened suddenly, striking her in the forehead. A man slinked in and locked the door, apparently oblivious to her presence. She rubbed her forehead for a bit and could have sworn she heard a bang. She looked up just in time to see the man empty a few rounds into the door. Having never been in the presence of a gun before, she shrieked at the dreadfully loud noise.
"Aiyah! What was that about?" she complained.

Hitake jumped when she heard bullets.She ran out of the room and down the stairs as fast as her legs could take her.She finally got down to the bottom floor and saying"Alan!what happened?"she saw him standing with his gun facing the door.

Siegfried was getting bored of this so-called paradise. He got up, and beckoned one of his followers. "Tell the army we make our way to Morroco. It's time to visit an old friend." He said to the lizardman. The creature nodded in aggrement, and prepared a boat. Siegfried stepped on, and oprepare to wait for a long journey. In advance, he called a crow to send a message to Cassandra, telling her of his visit to Morroco.
