((Sorry I've been busy! It's a tough year for me, this high school senior year...))

Lily was now sitting in the girl's lounge, playing Smash Brothers Meele. She didn't have a clue where her roommate was; mabye getting somthing to eat. No matter; she had eaten not too long ago, so she wasn't hungry at the minute. Even though she was playing the game, her mind was somewhere else, as if in a multi-task trance. She wondered how her parents were doing, and she hadn't heard from her brother at all. Well, not since he got kicked out....

The Mario Brothers theme song started to go off on her cellphone, and she picked it up. After seeing whose number it was, she paused her game and answered it. "Hello?" "Hey sis." her older brother's voice answered the phone, sounding nervous for some reason. He already didn't like Lily to begin with, so it was strange that he was calling her.
"So, how's school going for you?"
"Not bad, I guess. Classes haven't started yet, though, so I"m not sure."
"Well, whatever, you'll be fine with grades. As usual..."
"Mike, what's the real reason you called?" she said suddenly; she could tell he was beating around the bush, and she wanted answers, as usual.
There was a pause. "Well, it's about the band.........see, we kinda need some money, so I was gonna ask if I could borrow-"
"Look, you know all I have of a large sum is for college."
"So what? Not like you'll make it that far; smartness won't get you everywhere; you have to know people, meaning not being a complete nerd and being smarter than everyone else.
"Mike, that's not true at all and you know it!"
"Wanna bet?"
"No; chances are you haven't even found a job yet, so you don't have the money to put IN a bet."
"Well, at least I'm not some bratty little know it all who will be all alone with her little books for the rest of her-"
Lily didn't let him finish. She slammed the phone shut, unaware she was now standing up, clenching it in her hand like it was a deadly vial. It went off again, and she threw it against the wall. She knew it wouldn't hurt it; the angle of her throw was too acute, so it hit the floor softly without a scratch.

Hiding back tears, she unpaused her game and began to play again, ignoring hte phone ringing yet again, her brother trying to bribe her for cash. She put the computer on level 9, then annilated it without too much trouble. She repeated this process. It's not like he didn't have money; she knew what he really spent it on...

"Well, If you don't want to talk about it, I'm fine with that." Star said, thinking of her own matter sthat she would rather not be discussed. Like, her sister for example.

((WOW im bored 'cause noone evr talks to meh!))

~Akari went up stairs looking for her room. Once she found it, she went to a corner of the room, set up a stand and her music, then began playing her guitar. She could play well, and she played loud.~

Josh was glad that he made it out of his sister's dormroom before anythign nasty happened. He shrugged and made his way to hhis dorm, where he had all his stuff delivered. He typed in the passcode and entered. He saw a girl playign guitar, and guess she was his roommate((Akari)). "Hey, I'm Josh." He said cooly, before flopping onto his bed and started tossing a basketball in the air. ((which he magically had stored on his bed....LOL))

She noticed the girl look into her eyes and ignored it. "Nope."

Diah felt a pang of loss at Rose's curt response and the lack of eye contact. At least Vince, who was uncomfortable with eye contact, had at least looked at her. I guess she doesn't like me...
Smiling softly with a bit of embarrassment, Diah nods and again swallows the bite of pasta with some haste. With a slight giggle lacing her words to match her embarrassment, she says, "Careful, I may hold you to that. Oddly enough I can find my way in ruins and places far away from civilization easily enough, but I can't seem to find my way around here. I must have wandered the halls a good hour before finding even the scent of food, then I followed my nose to find you. I don't think my nose can help me find somewhere like... the gym." Pausing she tilts her head as if listening to something far off before chuckling a bit, "Then again... with all the sweat that must happen there it just wouldn't be a pleasant smell if there is one."

Rose realized this was a lost hope. They seemed to not notice her much. "I guess I'll talk to you later then?" She stood up and gave them both a small wave. For some reason she felt super uncomfortable. Which was normal for her but odd since she knew Vincent.


Lola grinned. "Well... Seeing as I never caught your name I'll be leaving now. Later sparky." She walked out and hardly noticed Rose pass her. Entering the cafeteria she bought a water and sat down next to Vincent. "Hey." She forgot to change, and looked basically like Rose.
