Loralei glanced at him wide-eyed as he shovelled the cake into his mouth. "You... you're not... mad at me?" she asked him, leaning back on one of the counters. "I... I made a promise to take care of you... and I did something that made you upset. Aren't you mad at me?"

"Eh??" Alucard was puzzled by the question, "You did? I don't remember..."
Alucard tried his best to remember where he was upset at Loralei, but nothing came up, "Uh...no...nope! I don't think you did anything to upset me yet."

Loralei was confused. And that only made her more upset... "Do you remember anything that happened at around... eleven o'clock? ((I'm going to say it's eleven. Because I'm awesome like that...))" Loralei's eyebrows came together in thought. This is... different...

"Oh...eleven o'clock? What's that? Is that a time in the day?" Alucard rolled his eyes to the side to think about it, "Hmm...last thing I remember was that I was at the bakery, yup. The door was locked. I was kind of sad.."

((Wait... big Alucard doesn't remember anything either?! He was being niiicee... *whines*))
Loralei opened her mouth, trying to say something that wouldn't escape. "Oh. Okay then..." she looked around the kitchen with a confused expression on her face. "Well, now that I'm thoroughly awake..." Loralei sighed. "I'm going to take a bath. You can finish up that cake and we'll go to the bakery for pastries..."
Loralei walked over and boiled some hot water, adding it a bit of cold so that it wasn't scalding. "Don't leave the house, please." Loralei added before she walked up the stairs.

Loralei dumped the bathwater into the tub in her room, and slowly, her mind began to wander. She slipped off her clothes and sank into the tub's depths. What is going on here...?
If Loralei was the only one who remembered anything that happened, then she was completely and undeniably, in a worse predicament than when she started. Loralei sighed, frustrated, as she thought to herself, Well, isn't this just dandy...?

Alucard ran to a window to look outside and see the stars in the sky, but the lights inside the house and in the streets made it difficult to get a good view, "Aww...but but..."
He sat on the floor, thinking about how this would be one of those nights where he missed out in looking at the stars, "..."
He formed back into the bigger Alucard. He didn't question how he got there, but he did question how he was feeling. For some reason, he was feeling alone and depressed. For the first time in many years, he actually felt like he wanted to be next to someone, "How messed up my little world is..."
He looked around the house, "Heh, she didn't have the heart to leave?"

Loralei quickly towel-dried her hair and dressed in what seemed to be a difficult Victiorian Goth outfit. She brushed out her long hair and quickly ran down the stairs, hoping she hadn't been too long in the bath. "Alucard, you're still.. here?"
Loralei stopped when she saw the older Alucard looking out the window. "He left." she said simply, then went to sit next to him. "So... are we going to the bakery now? It's open..." Loralei watched the sun as it began to rise higher and higher in the sky, and she smiled slightly. Beautiful... She thought to herself.

His eyebrows furrowed slightly, "Do you think I'd actually want to go to the bakery? What I want is to get out of this place and get this stupid spell off me. ...Why in the world did we come back here anyways?"

Loralei almost fell over. "Not you, too..." She shook her head. "Never mind. Scratch the bakery. I suppose we're going to Axis... because obviously, that's where you'd want to go to figure out any sort of information about yourself. Because when I tell you, all you do is forget it." Loralei grumbled the last part to herself. "I suppose you're back to being all cocky and rude now, hm?" Loralei stood up and sighed, brushing herself off. "Well, come on, let's get this over with..."

"Oh but of course! Cocky and rude I shall always be, for morons like you," Alucard stood up and straightened out his coat, "Yes, Axis. I'll make sure to stay awake this time so you don't swing back to this place."
Alucard turned into a crow and flew up on top of Loralei's head, "Walk now, dog. I might actually buy you a biscuit as a reward when we get to Axis. Does that sound good to you? Yes? Oh good, I thought so. Mush!"

Loralei gritted her teeth and waved her hands at the top of her head, trying to get Alucard off. "I am not your dog. Do not call me such. And you have wings.... why don't you fly?" Loralei unfurled her own. "Or did you forget how to fly as well?" She asked as she floated with her arms in front of her chest.

Alucard cawed as he was brushed off her head and was forced to make a landing. Then he flew up and pecked Loralei's forehead, "Stupid" PECK "Stupid" PECK "Girl!!!" PECK PECK PECKITY PECK (( xDDDD ))
"Open the door, wench!" Alucard demanded as he flew a few feet in front of Loralei.
