Grant Leory was new to the school... He was new to the state of New York, and he was most definetly new to the country. He was from the UK, a Scottish Decendent and was sent to the school by his father who saw his element as a gift rather then a curse.

He didnt have any particular feelings twords them eithor way. He used them to his advantage sometimes and used them for fun other times but rarely out of spite or hate. He licked his chapped lips slightly as he walked down the halls of the school, not firmilliar with anything he tried to gain his footing. Where would he sleep? Where were the classes? How would he eat?

He wasnt stupid, but he was fairly confused as he wandered the halls, his facial expression might as well have put a giant question mark above his head as he noted every door and tried to figure out what was what.

Werent there any schools like this in Europe?! He growled in his mind, sighing gently. Guess not...

He looked around again, nobody was around... Were people home? were there dorms here? Were the classes over for today or were people simply at lunch... He bit his lip nervously and began to wonder if he was even at the right school.

Great first day Grant.. he muttered in his thoughts.

(( I edited my last post. ^^ ))

Chyna smiled. She looked up from the string between her fingers. "Yeah, I'm in your class. Beginner and Intermidiate Water. We might be in the same elective. What elective are you doing? I'm going to take Mythical Creatures."

She felt a little awkward, talking about something you would to your friends with a girl she'd just met. She saw some kids playing with a ball, then as her teacher, Jake, kicked it. Her eyes opened wide as she watched it rocket skyward, then begin it's journey down towards Amaya, though she didn't know her name at the time. "OhmyGod!Theteacherkickedtheballandnowit'sgonnahitthechick!" It was all she could say, and it flowed out in a jumbled mess of jibberish. Why doesn't he use his elemental powers? she thought quickly. She watched the kickball plummet towards her, almost using her abilities to stop the ball. She knew she probaably couldn't do it. The best she could do was make a water sphere and do a couple of tricks with it.

No, it was probably too much for her to handle. Maybe she could've helped with some practice, but now? No. She couldn't. Or was it she wouldn't? She pushed the thought away and stared helplessly. Would someone come to the rescue? It was just a kickball, it couldn't be that bad. Though, judging by the Headmaster's expression and her postion, she wasn't in the state for hardcore things, or medium extreme levels. It would've been worse if it hit her than if it had hit Chyna, though she was younger she was in a better physical state. Chyna closed her eyes and waited for a scream...anything to tell her that it was over. She couldn't bear waiting for it to strike.

Liriale rose from her kneeling position to sit down on the bench next to Amaya then said, “Ms. Amaya, if you agree, I can use my powers to help you further your recovery into the healing process for your body. It has been under a lot of stress, and water can assuage that tension and aid in strengthening you.” Liriale asked. She wanted to be sure that Amaya would not mind Liriale using her powers to heal her.

Leah had watched Liriale rush to the Headmaster and to Amaya’s aid. But that wasn’t what just caught her eye. From the corner of her eye she could see Jake sprinting across the field over to the group. “Eh?” Leah wonder as she watched him run at full speed and kept looking up to the sky for something. Curios, Leah followed his gaze to see…..

Tsuki looked up, searched for the ball in the sky, and, upon finding it, squinted to see and focus her vision on it. There was nothing she could do. Her distance from it and her inability in water limited her powers to nothing. Still, that did not mean she would try do to nothing.

Bracing herself and aiming her palms at where the missile would pass, she shot out a blast of water that would hopefully deter the ball from its path.

~~~
The Headmaster smiled at the recovered teacher, "I am glad you are alri-" His glee was interrupted by the cries of many students. Immediately, he stood and looked around, quickly finding the incoming projectile with ease. He cringed and braced himself, knowing what he had to do.
To everyone who was there, there was a flash of white light, then the following scene.
The Headmaster was breathing heavily, and the ball was no where to be seen. There was no trace of it either, and any elements that had been projected attempting to help were no longer there. Everyone looked around in confusion.
~~~

Tsuki, like everyone else, experienced a flash of white light, then rubbed her eyes, attempting to recover. The Headmaster looked fatigued, and the blast of water she had shot out earlier was nowhere, as if it had never been shot. She was quiet and tried to assess the situation.

Amaya smiled weakly and shook her head, "I will be fine, I have all I need in that," she raised her hand and pointed at the sun. Its rays hit her body directly so her energy was raising as she lay there. She had managed to keep a simple spell going even with her lack of energy. It for the most part turned her body into a metaphysical plant, producing energy from the heat and light from the sun. Also the open air, helped with increased energy production.

Amaya gasped feeling her energy stop increasing. Looking at the headmaster breathing heavily, she moved up enough to let him sit down. Reaching up she gently tugged him down if he let her into a seating position. "that was...interesting."

"Th-thank you, Amaya," the Headmaster managed to say through breaths as he sat down, accepting her offer to sit. He made no comment on the incident. After a few moments, he stood up, having shaken off the brief fatigue. He said nothing to the inquiring crowd, ignoring all comments and inquiry as he walked into the school.

Before walking into his office, he saw Moro outside his office, waiting for his presence. He wondered how long she had been waiting.

"I'm deeply sorry, Miss Debrak, have you been waiting long? Your first period is in 2D, on the second floor. However, you will have to wait till tomorrow to attend that class. Right now is the lunch period, and after you will head to your second period class, which is whichever class you choose," he explained, finishing his speech with a motion to the wall, where the list of electives and corresponding teachers and room numbers was. He was less cheerful than usual, almost deprived of energy but the new student would most likely not recognize this change in disposition.

"I'm sorry, but I must be elsewhere," he said before walking inside his office and locking the door behind him.

Amaya nodded and watched him leave not bothering to ask what happened because she knew without questioning it, that he would not be open about what happened. Standing on her own, she walked back towards her office. Once there she locked the door and shifted the classroom into better repair, by fixing everything that was broken. This took up most of the energy she gained but it would at least be nice for tomorrows class. Slipping open the secret panel to go down into her training room, she walked into the stairway before closing the panel. Once into the training room, she laid down on her training mat, and reached down into the ground to pull out her pillow. Wanting to warmth of the training room, she curled up against her pillow and rested.

"Anybody here!?" Grant began to call, his voice echoing down the empty corridors. As far as he knew it he was alone, and a bit freaked out.

it being his first day, he wasnt sure where his classes were, or if he even had classes... he continued to walk down the corridor and reached a door that read 'Gym' he frowned slightly and turned around, looking back down the way he came with a sigh.

"Anybody?" He called, listening to his voice travel down the bland hallway. He looked down at his papers. He needed to find an office, Needed to find out what his classes were and what time he needed to attend them, and wanted to know where he'd sleep at night.

Amaya had no intention of moving from her resting place, she was too comfortable and the warmth of the training room was making her sleepy. Although she only had an once of strength left, she managed to pull her blanket from her coffin in the ground and cover herself with it.

Yawning she purred lightly almost like a cat, as she snuggled against her pillow content on sleeping until class tomorrow.

"Ow..." Jake was...waaaay away from everyone else. In a clump of trees somewhere near the off-campus border.

How he got there...
Running after the ball was his agenda. To try to catch it before it hit Amaya or the others. Then a bright blinding flash blinded him and he had instinctively forced a sphere of water around him to protect from anything...hot. But being disoriented he tripped on a rock, fell face down on the grass, then summoned the wrong thing. A strong line of water made by the water within the ground shot Jake straight up into the air and in an arc which landed him...

In his current position. Face down on the hard floor. Nose broken and bleeding from the face-down impact. Some pain in his chest and back, his arm felt dislocated after he had hit it against a tree on the way down. A headache, and still much disorientation from the blinding light.

Moro sighed then suddenly looked up at the Headmaster who appeared and began talking to her. She listened carefully and nodded when she felt it was appropriate then stood up as he left into his office. She looked at the lists he had mentioned and wondered which class she should start out with.

She figured a science class would be fitting since it was something she seemed to have an easier time with learning.

"Hmm..."

She wondered if maybe she should talk with the teachers first before deciding. She didn't want to be placed in a class where she'd be a nuisance if there were to many students. She turned on her heel and walked towards the stairs.

There was a lot of commotion in the distance, a crowd of students running around, seeming to try and catch some projectile. He payed no head to it, until it was all sudden. A flash of light rendered him vulnerable, taking away his sight. His body reacted quickly, placing up a shield around him, expecting something to hit him any second.

As quickly as the flash came, it vanished. His eyes focused as he looked around himself. Nothing had changed, everything seemed like it had been before the flash. His shield had made a circle around him in the ground. Slowly removing the shield, he looked at the group of students as they also looked confused as he was.

He then saw the headmaster sit, looking exhausted. Then, it clicked. Something was happening that caused the headmaster to do something. What he did, he couldn't figure out, but it involved his abilities which meant it was something big. Usually the headmaster wasn't this tired after just one type of spell or technique.

Jin stretched, his eyes returned to their usual dark brown color as he bent over to pick up his backpack and slowly began to make way towards the group of students. He was curious and probably would be able to get to know a few.

Leah had seen Jake’s fiasco of trying to catch the ball and now sprinted towards Liriale, who was still in a daze from the blinding light, to bring her to Jake’s side. Professionally trained as an emergency doctor, Liriale quickly knelt down next to Jake and gently placed her hands on his back as she began to assess the damage to his body. “Jake? It’s Liriale, please don’t try to move yet, I want to check if anything is broken, so please remain still.” The diagnosis didn’t too look bad, she could feel water pulsing through his back and chest, a signal of pain. Closing her eyes, she checked on other areas where water was collecting, which indicated tissue swelling. She evaluated from the abnormal bump along his scapula (shoulder blade) that he had actually dislocated his shoulder, which would not be to hard to fix, it just needed to be popped back in place. Liriale also noted that Jake had broken his nose, she would rather heal that in the doctors office where she could clean it and apply some antibiotic cream just in case.

Liriale summoned some cool water from the air into a little sphere, which she let soak into Jake’s body, right above his dislocation. The cold water would numb the nerves and make it easier for Liriale to move his humerus, or arm bone back into place. “Alright Jake, I’m going to apply slight pressure to your back to put back your shoulder joint. Just try to take a deep breath”. With a POP! Sound Liriale realigned Jake’s joint.

“Alright, let’s get you to the doctor’s office where we can fix up that broken nose.” Liriale said as she helped Jake stagger to his feet, while Leah help him from the other side. Making sure that he was alright to walk, they lead him to the doctor office.
