The longboat hit shore quickly and Ranu stepped off swiftly, moved from the sea and stopped. Spinning, he nodded in satisfaction. "See you soon." He said shortly, mumbling to himself then striking the ground. A spiral opened, its colouring rather like a candy cane. Ranu stepped in.
Hell
The abyss
Ranu moved swiftly through legions of soldiers, all dressed in different uniforms. He nodded idly to them as he passed, ignoring their cheers. "Yes." He snapped, "the dark generals back. Now move aside or help me find this creature Varok."

Storm groaned when the sun moved up into the best position to rape her eyes. She pulled the blankets over her head, and hid that under the pillows. Slowly, the drow drifted off into a light sleep, images of blood oranges and lovely naked Ranu's dancing through her head.

auron looks at the portal as Ranu steps through, his face beaming with amazement "note to self: never piss off Ranu" he says, sliding his hands into his pockets and sighing as he looked at the sun "beautiful day for what I have in store"

Hell
The abyss
Ranu slid smoothly past the man who tried to cut him up. Ignoring the protests, he kept walking, listening to another soldier smash his father in the face with his bayonet. The grind of the steel on bone caused a shiver of delight. His father would be back the next day but until then, he 'd get peace. Pausing, he tilted his head as a member of a Indian scouting party, long wiped out, sprinted to him. He spoke swiftly in his own language, which Ranu replied in. Nodding in gratitude, he moved past him. They'd found the beast.

bored out of his mind, auron draws his long sword and sits down on the ground, rubbing his fingers up and down the side of the blade, examining every detail "Varok will make an excellent addition to my collection" he says as he smiles and sheaths the blade, stabbing his right arm into a portal and pulling out an apple, then promptly taking a bite

The Beast was on its side, bound up. Ranu was almost disappointed. He'd hoped to fight it. "I'll be back," he informed his soldiers. The beast and Ranu vanished in black flashes. They appeared behind Auron. "Boo."

"welcome back, have a nice trip?" auron says, standing and turning around, looking at the spirit laying on the ground "well, a deals a deal" he says, pulling the bag of gold coins from his vest and tossing it to ranu "now, Varok, are you going to resist, and force me to use force, or cooperate and join your powers with mine?" he says, unsheathing his blade and holding it an inch from the spirits face "one touch of this blade and your powers belong to me"

"screw it, regardless of your choice, your powers belong to me" auron says calmly as he touched his sword to the spirits throat, sucking it into his body and chuckling as a tattoo appears on his left cheek "wonderful, we can return now, Ranu" auron says, smiling as he steps into the longboat and begins to laugh "say hello to my newest power source, Varok" he says, pointing to his tatoo, which is shaped in the form of a V "one less loose end to tie up"

Ranu tried to look interested as he moved the longboat out, guiding it back mentally, but failed. "What's the story?"

"he's just an old pest from the past, that's all" auron says, smiling as he looks up at the sun "today seems like a good day" he says, smiling as he jumps and sits in the air over ranus head, floating over the boat as it moved "strength surpassing any human, aeromancy, alchemy, just a few more and I'll be ready"

"Ready?" Ranu asked with a pleasant smile at the sight of Auron floating. "Why do you seek such power? Too much power just brings innocents pain. How do you know the power you take wasn't somehow protecting those that couldn't protect themselves?"

"I need this power if I am to rid all pirates of the fear of the navy or anyone else interfering with our way of life" auron says, a big smile on his face as he tilts his hat forward "kibo may just like to stand around at Tortuga and wait for the navy to come, but I'm taking some initiative"

Ranu shook his head. "The navy, for its faults, is only trying to help their people. Aye, many are corrupt, I grant ye, but bare in mind... Say you destroy the British Navy, when they rebuild it, it will cost money. Money from the poor of that country? Surely as a Pirate from such a background, you can see this course will, in the end, only hurt them, and the families of the innocent soldiers and sailors? If you must use power on them, use it on the captain and any officer who attacks you. If you want to hurt a nation, let their forces go where they wish. Let them go home."
