"Your welcome." Natalia said automatically before turning and heading back to her speeder. She would have to bring it around to the back in order for the anit grav sled with her order to be attached. "Stay here, I'll be back in a few minutes." She add incase Doc decided to fallow her. She wanted to be alone for a little while.

With a grin, Bob replied, " Okay." before he began to stare with wide eyes at everything around him. ahhh....such a nice person. It makes me wonder if what my Uncle told me is true, that the galaxy is a hub of scum and villany, with corsucant being one of the most tainted of planets therein....maybe I should ask her next time I see her, which shouldnt be long I should think.....

Natalia walked through the doors back onto the main sales floor of the depo then out the front. She had learned binary when she was four or so and despite its inital advantage it was proving to be something of a curse. Every click and whistle of a passing droid reminded her of her greatest failure.
Being something of a pessimist Natalia wasn't particularly surprised to see the three hominids perched around and on her speeder. "A car jacking on this level before night fall?" She said to the party at large knowing just how unlikely it was and that it was already too late to run. "You have something that belongs to our boss and we aim to collect." The Wookie hissed from the left. "Quiet, we want her coherent not scared out of her mind." The Rodian said rather bravely from the right side, though not too bravely since the speeder was separating him from the Wookie. "Do you have his case number, because I can't just guess who it is or what they want by threats." Natalia's hand was inching into her pant pocket as she spoke. Her gun was on the opposite side and quite a bit higher but she wouldn't need it if she was careful. "HA! She dose understand me!" The Wookie crowed triumphantly, oddly proud that Natalia had taken the time to learn his language. "It's AT124 and your two days late on the delivery." A rather scruffy human said blandly. He was the only visibly armed member of the party if you didn't count the Wookies natural weapons. Natalia eyed the group for a moment and wanted to sigh. It was annoying how multiple species only cooperated for violent purposes. "If he had wanted it so bad he should have answered the door when I tried to deliver it the first time. He'll probably get it in a couple hours since I sent it by regular currier last night." She said calmly not in the least afraid of the situation. Panic wasn't in her nature and unlike a crazed ride in a patched together life pod she did have a small amount of control over the situation.

After waiting for a few mintues, Doc Bob grew impatient. what could be taking her so long.....that speeder is more than adequately fast to have gotten here in this amount of time, and.....why am I getting a REALLY bad feeling about this? it wouldn't take this long, something must have gone wrong.... Shaking his head, Bob began to run all out in the direction of the speeder. After a minute or so he skidded to a stop, seeing the three thugs on the speeder, and natalia not far away. with an innocence bordering on full out stupidity, Doc Bob walked out towards them and asked Natalia, " what's been taking so long?"

Natalia moved to intercept Doc but was halted by the human gesturing subjectively to his gun. "Nothing, please just go back inside." She said hoping that the thugs wouldn't decide to do something stupid. Her finger tips were on her speeder control tab but with Doc so close she couldn't risk it yet. She would probably come out fine but if her plan didn't go right he might end up shot. "Yes were just friends with this lovely lady, how about you?" The Rodian inquired with an oily charm. Natalia's skin crawled at the question but she didn't bother trying to protest. Showing concern for Doc would be more then enough of an answer. "Figure it out, just say no and walk away." She though, anger warning with concern.

Blinking, Bob looked from natalia, to the others, then back and forth between them a few times before saying, " I won't lie to you, I do know her, and although we just met, I do feel that your holding that gun in my direction and hers is a bad idea.....how about we have a nice talk, hmm? I'm sure we pose no threat to you, I mean, sir wookie alone could easily snap me in two, and the two of you would just be massive overkill in addition, so I say unto thee, what is it that you want? hmm? if you want money, well, I'm broke. if you want precious objects, I have nary a trace, however....if you want to threaten me and my friend over here, your going to have to deal with the consequences, now you may not be smart enough to realize this, but there is a security system wired into the window of this shop right here....now, should I break or damage that window, that system will be triggered, and then the authorities will show up.....and I don't think you want the authrities here, now do you? hmmm? so I say once more unto thee....put the gun down." As bob spoke, he moved his hands in subtle patterns, in an attempt to gain the attention of the three and hypnotise them.
((OOC: yea, I know, its a long speech considering they would probably shoot him.....but at this point he's acting more like a scolding mother than a strange little man. sweatdrop ))

Natalia visably cringed when Doc started talking, but kept her eyes locked on the gun the human was holding. The wielders expression went from puzzled to amused then finally to what Natalia had been hoping wouldn't happen, angry. Blaster triggers didn't have much of a pull on them but she managed to cross the distance between her and Doc before the trigger was halfway depressed. She shoved Doc to the side and heard the sizzle of burning fabric as she hit the ground. Not waiting to see if she had been shot or not she depressed the button on her speeder control tab, activating its theft countermeasure, a stunning surge of energy.

Blinking as the man began to pull the trigger, Bob seemed a little stunned as the blaster fired, but quickly reacted on pure instinct holding his hand out as if to intercept the bolt with it, he looked suprised as natalia managed to shove him out of the way. I must have said the wrong thing....perhaps I twinged instead of twanged that cord of anger....crap..is that the smell of burnt fabric? oh crap. Bob thought these things as both he and natalia fell to the ground, and instead of looking at the thieves as they were shocked, he looked to Natalia, checking for any wounds. " are you alright? I, I'm sorry, I saw them on the speeder, I saw you there, and I thought you needed help...I....I didn't mean to get in the way, and now that I see what you had up your sleeve, well....I probably should have stayed put. I reiterate, I'm sorry for getting in the way, and I hope that your not hurt because of my lack of understanding the situation."

Natalia paused for a moment and looked at Doc to make sure he was alright then shrugged her coat off. The skin between her shoulder blades protested the action but not to strongly. "Probably a mild burn..." She thought, the coat was smoldering slightly along the edges of the area that the blast had burned away but the shirt on her back was just severely singed. "I'm fine thank you." She said as she stood up and brushed herself off. She drew one of her own blasters, a modified hold out, and shot the Wookie twice. They were stun bolts but the first elicited a startled yelp. Not many people would fallow up on a stun charge if everyone hit the ground but Natalia knew the settings on the field and didn't trust it to take down a Wookie the first time. In fact she didnt trust much of anything short of an e-web to take down a Wookie on the first go.

Bob watched in silence as Natalia shot the wookie thug, then got up, brushed himself off and asked her as his smile returned, "so, where do we go now?" she shot the hairy one a few extra times....perhaps as reassurance that he would stay stunned? its more likely that than simple cruelty. in any case, it will be nice once we get back to the workshop, then I can look at these new advances in technology closely, and see how I can integrate them into my design.

"We just need make a quick stop so you can pick out some furniture for your room then we can go back to the shop." Natalia said as she walked forward and grabbed the Rodian by the arms and pulled it out of her car. It had been leaning up against the door and had fallen in backwards. It was a simple matter to slide the human off the hood and the Wookie had thankfully fallen to the ground instead of on the speeder. Most people would have called the authorities but Natalia hadn't been seriously inconvenienced and besides, locking up the thugs would hardly bother the person who had sent them. That person was the real problem, not there muscle.

Bob followed natalia to the speeder, and as she cleared the others out/off of it, he hopped into the passenger side and secured the safty harness around himself before looking back to her and saying," so, what kind of furniture will I be needing?" cmon cmon cmon.....those parts are practically calling to me to pull them apart and reassemble them.....calm down....have patience, if something else happens, like I suspect it will, being anxious will only make me feel worse, so....I'm going to bottle up that anxiousness for now, and store it somewhere where it's not gonna bug me, then I can relax, and focus on whatever we need to do...... After taking a deep breath, Bob awaits Natalia's reply. there....anxiousness bottled, and I'm ready to do what needs be done....

"A bed of some sort, maybe a desk, a holo vid player...you know, just furniture and things for your room." It had been two years since Natalia had done shopping of that sort and given her minimalist nature coming up with options beside the obvious was pretty much not going to happen. After a few safety scans and a quick bomb check Natalia got in the speeder and drove it around back where a pair of droids hitched the cargo trailer. After that she drove as quickly as legally possible to the furniture store.

As they sped through the air to the store, Bob made a mental list of his furniture nessecities. lets see....she said a holovid player, a bed, and a desk....do I need anything else? hmm....maybe a chair? hmm....yea, that's about all I can think of. okay, now that I have my list, I just need to find the pieces then, this shouldn't take too long...or be that hard.... After they landed at the store, Bob quickly undid his harness and hopped out, and after a quick look at the cargo trailer, he made his way into the store....and his mouth dropped open once more. I thought this place was just going to have one type of furniture...but...there are so many....alright...lets make this easy then, I'll just choose the sturdiest one...yea...that shouldnt be too hard....

Natalia considered not going inside for a moment then released the catch on her safety harness and fallowed Doc into the store at a more sedate pace. Like most stores of its kind it catered to the physical needs of multiple species with as few concessions to there respective aesthetic preferences as possible. (Its the Ikea of the future ^_^) It took Natalia a few moments to realize that she couldn't see Doc amidst the mock home environment set ups of furniture that the stores interior was basically a maze because of them. "Damn it..." She muttered and started heading for the biped section, hoping he had noticed the sign and started looking there.
