Kai came back down to take his cape and swords and waved at them goodbye. He felt embarrassed. Kaen's husband turned into a child. Now he was exhausted and nervous. "I'm going to sleep with Acher." he avoided Kaen's eyes and headed to the room.

"Kai...." she whispered, as she watched him go back upstairs. Her ears drooped as she stepped forward, stopping when Kai disappeared into their room. "Sapph, did Kai say anything to you before I came down?"

PhoenixFirecat "Kai...." she whispered, as she watched him go back upstairs. Her ears drooped as she stepped forward, stopping when Kai disappeared into their room. "Sapph, did Kai say anything to you before I came down?" ((bye!! **snuggle**)) "He asked for a cup." Sapphire says thinking slowly. She took another sip of the vodka. "Yeah, that was all."

"Oh." Kaen sighed and unclipped the baby monitor from her belt. She couldn't hear anything coming from the room, other than the sound of 2 people sleeping now. "He's keeping something from me, but I can't tell what..."

"He's keeping something from me, but I can't tell what..." "I'm not sure Kaen." Sapphire says sighing. "I can't tell anything about people anymore." Sapphire says sighing as she fifnised off the vodka bottle.

Caradoc and Lilith walked in through the front door.
The robot was much muddier and banged up than the female. In his arms was a limp human body. He stared down at it, wondering just what possessed him to even bring this creature inside. Lilith seemed to approve, though.
Lilith was much cleaner. It was obvious she hadn't left the property in fear of losing her protection over the building. She watched Caradoc as he laid the body down on a couch. "Go get some rest. I'll watch over him."
The elf nodded, wiping some sweat from his forehead as he trotted upstairs for a shower.

Tilting her head, Telly rubbed one cheek out of nervous habit and sighed. Mumbling things to herself she opened the door in hopes that someone was actually here to speek to. She was darn near tired of making the back and forth trip to the Inn and Rivers home, granted it was good exersize. "Hello?" She questioned tapping at her chin curiously, remembering how much she must look like the Black dahlia-healed and with red hair. "Naw, she was pale." Telly murmured aloud with a yawn.

Baizou walked in swaying his newly groomed tail. It was trimmed and looked recently shampooed. It also felt quite a deal softer than it had before. Over his shoulder was his satchel, heavy and clinking with whatever was inside. On a leash behind him was Angel. He bent down and unhooked her leash in order to let her sniff around the room freely. He set his bag on the bartop and poured himself a cup of coffee.

From the very moment she walked in the room, it was extremely evident that Ellie had taken a bit of artistic liberty with her appearance magic. As she picked at her long-ish black nails, and brushed the black hair out of her face, the slightly pregnant woman seemed very oblivious to the world around her. The telltale explanation would turn out to be the wires trailing down to her pocket, holding the small music device that tuned out the ambient noise of the general room. Dressed in skinny jeans that could have been painted on, and a long, equally skinny sweatshirt hugged her tightly, also dark, as she headed to her table. Her hands pulled out a sketch book, which she took a black, felt tip pen to, only glancing up through eye-liner clad eyes once, and not quite at the angle to have seen her husband.

Baizou perked his ears and smiled brightly at the sight of his wife. He strode over and sat down beside her in the booth, perched so that his tail dangled over the side of the booth and onto the floor. He cupped her head gently and pulled her cheek to his lips. "Evening, love." he greeted in a smooth deep voice before pulling away. He certainly smelled well-groomed, too. Soon the scents of soap and old spice would reach the female's nose.

Ellie's nose wrinkled a little bit at the intrusive smell. Did he have to bathe in that old spice, or what? Overkill. Rolling her blue-for-the-moment eyes, she looked to him. "What's the occasion?" Her voice let out at a bit of a drawl, reaching up to pull the earbuds out of her ears. Eyes wandering him, her subconscious mind did note that he looked quite good, but, all of the annoying parts of her wanted to complain, for some reason.

Baizou tilted his head a little. "Well, I finally got my tail trimmed and I thought I would dress up a little." He really wasn't wearing any more or less than he usually did. He just forgot to take into account that pleasant smells were not always as pleasant when one was pregnant. He stole one of her ear buds and stuck it in his own ear. "What are you listening to?" He asked, resting his chin on her shoulder.
