Hey Cog, I don't know if I've ever asked you before... Have you ever heard of the Iron Kingdoms setting? It's what WARMACHINES and HORDES is based off of. I think they might have released a couple of books for it regarding the Witchfire Trilogy. It's all steampunk sort of fantasy stuff.

Yeah. The art style for the weapons/armor/warjacks is pretty cool in my opinion. The warcasters are probably the coolest thing from a character perspective, given that everything else is sort of just run-of-the-mill D&D classes. One of the major differences for IK is the healing factor though, since resurrection is nearly impossible and even normal healing spells can carry hefty consequences.

I keep meaning to polish off my warcaster character, but I always get sidetracked by a lack of steady places to RP. The tournament scene doesn't cater well to characters who wander around with multi-tonne robots as servants. xp
